I don't think too much meaning should be read into Barcelona's loss. It's just one of those games. Both teams were struck with injuries, but the difference between Barcelona and PSG is that PSG have a lot of players as backup, while Barcelona do not. PSG were the better team, but it doesn't mean Barcelona played awfully. They had a couple of things wrong, plus the players they missed.
Good teams lose matches too; it's the way they play, how many games they lose and the way they lose that matter. All they have to do is pick themselves up and find ways to get better and hope they don't get more injuries in future

PSG has finally won the match. Hakimi beautiful assist and a wonderful finish from Ramos ended the game in PSG favor by scoring two goals away from home. Despite the fact that Dembele and some key players ain't on the pitch, PSG still played like they are all complete. The champions have shown themselves again this season. The game ended 1-2.

Barcelona's loss is really surprising honestly. With the injuries affecting psg and the high odds given to them, I expected Barcelona to take advantage of that. But it seems football is far more than odds and certain advantages. They proved again why they are the defending European champions. Unfortunately, this current UCL happens to be a league fixture, so it's not as if there is a second leg visit to correct their mistakes of today.

Manchester City on the other hand failed to secure all three points today. I can't believe how they managed to draw to a Monaco side that hasn't had a good result in the last few games. Seems they are still trying to build the team, and are not necessarily the City that we think they are. Congrats to all the teams that won.

It is very hard for any team to actually defend a champions league title only the greatest team to have won it 15 times have done that. For now I will still say PSG are favourites but it will be very hard for them to defend this title now because seriously they are clubs that look superb this season, on my list to challenge PSG is still Real Madrid and Bayern Munich

But one thing people need to understand is that it is still very early to actually make a prediction like this I usually wait till the knockout stages before making a choice because clubs normally drop tempo then and some pick up. This is what happened to even PSG too last season there impressive stats started during the knockout stages

Exactly, they had a better chance of winning the game, but eventually they still lost to PSG, and how funny it is that they scored first and PSG was able to equalize and still added another goal and the way the game changed very early was just disappointing because psg having seven shots on target shows that they were seriously pressuring barcelona because they were just stuck with their one goal, and yamal could not do anything in today's game. and even received a yellow card.

Funny enough I expected a draw from both teams even before the match started, I still don’t understand why Barcelona will give up freely at extra time. Barcelona had a better chance to play possessively unlike PSG but, I personally never expected much from Barca and  the home benefit attach viewing PSG is also a competitive club, It’s obvious Barcelona can’t withstand PSG.
Arsenal played a nice game, I keep enjoying the defence team every match day meanwhile at the other hand Mancity played draw against Monaco although I predicted city win against Monaco definitely an easy one unfortunately the match ended draw.

Yeah you are right, competition is still going on and there are still many other teams that have the ability it's just that I was impressed to see how PSG played including from a mental perspective. Arsenal are reaping the fruits of an amazing squad depth, with each game, the team selections and player position is becoming increasingly difficult to predict by other managers and that is a problem for them.

My conclusion after todays result is that competition is excellent for this team, Odegaard has started performing at the level which he is expected to perform, Gyokores is settling into the team and becoming more of a bullly to defenders, Martinelli's performance has also improved.

I am impressed with the fact that winning games is becoming a regular thing with the team and also keeping clean sheets. With Arteta's team rotation, injury to key players will be limited this season.

Nothing’s changed still, so far both team doesn’t have most of their key players playing. Although, Barcelona side is kinda fair compare to that of PSG yet we had a victor  to be PSG.. Sure they're supposed to feel disappointed Because they have more advantage than PSG but looking at it in other perspective PSG is strong both home and away I knew from the onset that psg will never allow barcelona to defeat them so easily without minding if they're the host or not. I know the game was going to be very strong so I was just expecting the least draw from the game I was surprised and shocked to see Paris Saint Germain win Barcelona in Barcelona home that was really crazy and this also show that Paris Saint Germain will definitely go far in this champions league and what Barcelona did today shows that even if inter Milan allowed them to qualify for finals last season they would not have still defeat Paris Saint Germain. Paris Saint Germain has really improved so much because as it stands some team will be scared to play against them in this champions league.
