It's too early to conclude that PSG will defend the league. There are some clubs that has ths tactics and qualities to win PSG. Don't forget that Barcelona isn't good in Champion League matches when they face big teams in a different league. Look back to the past three seasons how their performance was.

Even this Barcelona has all the tactics to beat PSG from becoming the champions again, PSG beat them today but doesn't mean there weaknesses is continues after this lost, so I agree with you because PSG success now hasn't given them anything to win yet because even some of the clubs that hasn't been competing well now could become a serious competitors soon. The time of this wining is just were Barcelona did a faulty job because since they came first on the goal even if there was later equalizer from PSG but losing 90 minutes is like they were too small for PSG on the match, Barcelona that even has good defending skills.

Exactly, they had a better chance of winning the game, but eventually they still lost to PSG, and how funny it is that they scored first and PSG was able to equalize and still added another goal and the way the game changed very early was just disappointing because psg having seven shots on target shows that they were seriously pressuring barcelona because they were just stuck with their one goal, and yamal could not do anything in today's game. and even received a yellow card.

And when it comes to the Champions League, Barcelona is not always doing the needful. What the hell is happening.. Real Madrid’s 3 goals in this UEFA Champions League match all came from penalties. lol Looks like Kylian Mbappe might soon replace Ronaldo as the GOAT of penalties. HAHA kidding.
Imagine, on UCL matchday 1 two of Real Madrid’s goals were from penalties,and now on matchday 2 their first goal is another penalty.

Well, I didn’t see how they got those penalty, but it feels like the league really wants Real Madrid to win this season. lol

I don’t think it is Mbappe’s fault or the club’s fault that their opponents keep giving away penalties. If you decide to give out 10 penalties in three games and your opponent scores every 10 penalties it’s on you. IMO Mbappe has been brilliant in converting those penalties, some other club captains have thown away two penalties in two different games that would have changed the outcome of those games.

This match again proves that even if Barcelona had met PSG in last seasons final, they would have still lost against PSG. Going into this match, the starting eleven of PSG in attack where not available, but they still managed to put two goals past Barcelona. Enrique used a younger squad against Barcelona and he still won them again.

The biggest surprise is Liverpool losing to Galatasaray 1-0. I've seen a video on X showing a large number of Galatasaray fans firing up fireworks during the night in front of the hotel that Liverpool players resided in. They tried to prevent Liverpool squad from getting a proper sleep and therefore give Galatasaray an extra advantage. A dirty move indeed, but I wonder if that worked.

Hahaha… I almost doubted the story because I was wondering how this could be possible. But if the fans are in front of the hotel, it means they're outside, and if they are outside, then the hotel management can do little or nothing about it since it's not their premises. It's indeed a dirty move, but I'm not sure it played a role in Liverpool's defeat tonight.

Oh, is that also another Liverpool fan ? You know they always have a way with words to make excuses for anything that happens... If they won the match, he'd probably be saying something very different, even after witnessing/ watching the scene from X (according to him).

The Liverpool loss should be expected because these guys have been terrible since the beginning of this season in the EPL and the UCL, we saw how they managed to win against Everton, Burnley and Arsenal but they fail to do it against Crystal Palace and now it has pushed them to go into the champions league to lose making it 2 games in a row. Well, we should congratulate Newcastle for their win, 4 nil against Royale Union, for me the host wasn't as good as they were 2 weeks ago. Newcastle now have a higher momentum to go against their next opponent in the EPL which is another poor side Nottingham Forest, it will be a home win for Newcastle.

I don't think am impressed with Liverpools performance this season because both the premier league they have not be acting stable and that of championship league is worst because the lost against  Galatasaray and I was surprised because this game was an easy one for them to have won but there were still beating them by 1 goal and another thing now is that when it comes to football things easily change so this season might not just be fore Liverpool because even  real madrid loos more serious this season. And normally Newcastle are not that bad because the owner is rich just that some times money might not be the solution they need quality players to get quality result instead of them spending money snd they are not getting results.

No club is seeing Liverpool as a team they should be afraid of and Galatasaray is not one of those smaller clubs that Liverpool can come and dominate, no...these guys are fully prepared for the team they are to play against but I can tell you for free that the Galatasaray side was surprised by how Liverpool displayed in that encounter because it was too poor, a goal down and the Red lost that aggressiveness. In the EPL things are getting bad for Slot and his men and if Liverpool losses their spot as league leaders then it will be hard to get back to that number 1 spot because teams like Crystal Palace are also having that hunger to remain on that top 4 and probably they might even occupy the number 1 position on the log if possible, so this is becoming a big problem with time the fans will be waiting for a mistake to start shouting Slot out, that's if they haven't started it yet, they need to get a win against Chelsea to amend their mistakes.

Sure they're supposed to feel disappointed Because they have more advantage than PSG but looking at it in other perspective PSG is strong both home and away I knew from the onset that psg will never allow barcelona to defeat them so easily without minding if they're the host or not. Barcelona really possessed in the first half their performance in the first half proves that they have a higher chance of winning this match, but barcelona end up surprising everyone Because no one believed that PSG will defeat barcelona. But in all I would say that the both teams played well, manchester city was expected to win Monaco but they couldn't. though thier score wasn't that bad.

I have been on transit today and unfortunately I missed all the matches. As I was stepping into my sitting room, I saw that Barcelona and PSG were sharing points and a goal which appeared like an offside happened and fortunately for the defending champions, it was a goal and not offside. I didn't know such a beautiful fixture existed this night.

As for Manchester city match, I saw that Haaland braced. It is a beautiful thing as the beautiful striker is back in his beast mode. Both in EPL and CL. It's sad that he didn't finally help his team go home with the whole 3 points.

Barcelona played well despite their defeat, and I think PSG were fortunate with Goncalo Ramos late goal. Of course, Barcelona chances of reaching the round of 16 are still open, as there are still six more matches in the League Phase that will determine their journey this season. With this victory, PSG grows more confident in defending their trophy.

On the other hand, Manchester City was held to a 2-2 draw by Monaco, with the Ligue 1 side fortunate to be awarded a penalty late in the game. Before the match began, Manchester City were actually the favorites, but it ended full of surprises, with both teams forced to share the points. Pep Guardiola looked very disappointed with the draw.

I don't seem to find the reason why Barcelona should lose the match because they were at advantage from all angle so I must say that I'm disappointed at them. They gave us high hopes this season and tonight's performance just dashed those hopes for me. Yamal was practically overwhelmed, likewise Rashford which is why they did not make attempts on goals as I expected them. I was expecting them to e all over the place and dominate PSG who played without some of their key players. Barcelona have to do better than this because this is not what I expected from them.

Maybe it's just the prove that we need that PSG is better than them, some of PSG players were missing maybe because of injuries, even Vitihna was a doubt for the match and he didn't train with the team but he was added last minute into the starting eleven against Barcelona. Mendes again had to put Yamal inside his pocket. Maybe PSG is just better than Barcelona from the look of things. They had more complete squad than OSG but they still managed to lose.

Barcelona started well, took the lead, played well but couldn't finish. Both teams found clear goal positions. PSG played well again at the end and won with a last minute goal. When this happens, the opponent has no chance to respond. PSG won despite missing so many players.

I like the way both teams play and they will be in the top rounds this season. I don't know if they will make it to the final, but they are both serious favorites. They are already proving it with the way they play. If there are 5 teams that are candidates for the Cup, these are the two. We are lucky to watch such an enjoyable match in the league stage. In the old format, such matches didn't happen in the group stage.

The final score tonight proves that PSG is still a big threat to all the big teams in the competition because it's not possible that any one expected them to be able to defeat Barcelona when they had some of their key players out of the game due to injury but they ended up defeating Barcelona 1:2 from away.

Nobody knows if PSG would have defeated Barcelona if they had mat in the finals but defeating them tonight is a good way to inform them that they are still the best team in the world.

Do you know how long Manchester United problem has lasted, or do I need to remind you? For a team that has money as Manchester United and can't find the solution to their club after twelve years do you think that's a joke? I was not surprised by Barcelona loss but I was surprised by PSG great performance. They were a bit upset at the beginning after Barcelona great start and attacking play but PSG knows how to make a great comeback in any situation. Ferran Torres goal in the 19 minute of the match gave Barcelona an extra advantage and more attacking but PSG was desperate to pay the goal and despite having a few scoring chances, they equalized in the 38th minute of the match. With both teams trying to score and failing repeatedly, I thought the match might be a draw but PSG increased the goal difference in the 90 minute of the match which was very unexpected for Barcelona. I think this is a temporary loss of rhythm for Barcelona.

Barcelona lost, and this is bad because I lost my bet. Looking at the statistics of this match, I am surprised that Barcelona lost ball possession dominance. This is very rare for them when they play at Camp Nou. I understand that Enrique is one of the masters for Barcelona in the past, so his knowledge could make it easier for him to overcome Barcelona's ball dominance. But the defeat by PSG made Barcelona extend a bad record. I see that Barcelona's playing pattern makes the defenders play higher, making it easy for PSG players to break through the defense because Barcelona's defenders indeed lack speed. Wow, what a dominating performance by Dortmund, I didn't see that coming. Sure I had hopes for a win, and BVB is playing decent and the moment, yet I didn't expect them scoring 4 goals. As frustrating as the ending of the first game against Juventus was, as happy BVB fans can be with this one. Hope this is a sign for other good matches to come, but with Dortmund you never know of course. 
In a couple of days they will face Leipzig in a game of 2nd against 3rd. Then we will see if they are actually for real this season.
