Atalanta 2 Vs Chelsea 1

Inconsistencies have been the biggest issue faced by this Chelsea side since Poch was in charge and they are still yet to fix it. They get a set of good results and everyone thinks they are now in contention for the title but they then have a bad result and fail to bounce back quickly, falling into a bad run after.

I know they won the Conference league and CWC last season, but I think the club is looking more to compete for the UCL and EPL with the investments that have been made.

Chelsea and consistency is far apart, I have no idea why they keep on loosing to small clubs and winning to big clubs, but I had so much confidence in them that they will win the match today but to my surprise they lost.

This is one reason why I don't like gambling in champions league, because the results are so unpredictable and very disappointing some times, I just choose to gamble in other league that their prediction is easier since they consistently play with each other

Barcelona won their match against Frankfurt 2-1. This match was really important for Barcelona to still keep their hope of making the top 8 of the UEFA champions League.  I was really disappointed in the first half, Barcelona players look confused especially fermin Lopez who looked lost today. The second half was different,  it  was the changes hani flick made in 45th minute that changed the game completely. Kounde scoring two headers was very impressive.

I was confident that Chelsea was going to win this match but it looked like my prediction for Inter Milan to win Liverpool was transferred to this match. Chelsea winning first half and losing in full time is a very bad one for Enzo as it shows that something is still wrong with the Blues. There is a very close connection between this match and their defeat by Leeds in the aspect that the team lost control of the match somewhere along the line and that made them pay the ultimate price.

I can understand how that feels, but seriously I was pretty disappointed at Inter Milan, if that match was at Anfield I would have understood better but losing at home. A draw would have been better, a late penalty giveaway turned everything around, Liverpool earned the points and congratulations to them. 2 defeats in a row for Inter Milan, last 2 weeks they lost to Atletico Madrid and today they have again lost to Liverpool. Chelsea game as well, I didn't expect that lose from them especially after they went ahead first in the game, I was thinking that after the equaliser, Chelsea was going to get the winning goal but it was Atalanta instead. Prediction is really hard I must say because you will predict one thing and the game outcome will be another thing.

If we say its a come back for the Italian giant is wont say know because a win against  Chelsea in the Champions League is equivalent to winning the world best thing now because of their consistent performance in the Champions League and European football at large. Chelsea suffered humiliating defeat against Atlanta today as a result of the coaches mismanagement in the game. As for that of Atlanta I think this should be there recovery time now from the humiliating defeat they had in  their previous games and today's win may stand as a stepping stone for the recovery.

Chelseas losing this match was not expected at all, though they have dropped pace even in the Premier league but still, what a match this was. A classic performance from Atalanta as well, they never look out of it until the final whistle... Chelsea switching off late really cost them the match and your could see Atalanta growing in confidence after the equalizer. This match was a very huge reminder of how ruthless Atalanta can be when given space, especially in die minutes.

You guys are really giving this Chelsea team too much credit than they deserve. Could it be because they won Barcelona that's why everyone thought they could come here and win Atlanta, I guess we just found out that Chelsea are not as good as their fans has been projecting them to be. Were is that their wonder kid that their fans won't let us breathe, I guess he has scored enough for the season already. Anyone picking Chelsea for an away win in the champions league is making a big mistake.

This Chelsea team that I am seeing can't win a proper team at away. The only result that surprised me tonight is that of Liverpool. With everything that is happening around them, I didn't expect them to come to Milan and get a victory and keep a clean sheet against one of the title contenders of the Italian league. I give Liverpool their flowers tonight kudos to them.

They are really unpredictable and i think we can never expect what will happen with them,but they were able to score two fast goals in the second half and take the lead and as it looks they will win the match for sure. Frankfurt wasnt able to take advantage of the lead and missed some chances to extend the lead and against Barcelona you just need to take everything they give you. Was honestly expecting a much easier match for Barcelona

Barca was just in control of the total dominance but every time they(Frankfurt )  manage to penetrate  the high line it becomes a disaster  because the defense isn’t that capable enough ,although they waste their chance to get enough lead but still, those offsides could have made a difference for them, which means the highline  strategy still made some big saves for Barca tonight, not neglecting some big saves from Joan Garcia himself.
I was expecting more goals after the first two goals but the defense was solid.

Liverpool got a late minute winner against Inter Milan and i really praise them because Inter Milan isn't an easy team but Liverpool overpowered them. Dominik Szoboszlai did well for scoring the lone goal because the match was almost about to end in a draw before he scored.

Chelsea has really lost it because am just imagining how Atalanta made a comeback in this game. Since Atalanta appointed Raffaele Palladino as their head coach the performance of the team has improved and tonight's game is an evidence that there is improvement. Enzo Maresca needs to do something about the deteriorating performance of Chelsea because it's not for them to go 4 consecutive games without a win.

Liverpool played very well in this match they put all their strength to make sure that they win this match and they won it, the Inter Milan player that cost the penalty is not an experience player there was no reason to hold the Liverpool player on his shirt because he can't even win the ball and score a goal so there was no need to hold him on the shirt and causing a penalty, if not for that penalty I don't think Liverpool would have won the match, the match would have ended in draw but the penalty made it easy for Liverpool to win.
I heard Liverpool management gave the coach an option to win this match and still remain in Liverpool or to lose it and leave Liverpool as well I think the coach will be relaxed now because he will continue staying in Liverpool, Mohamed Salah is having a problem with Liverpool and I think this will be the end of his stay in Liverpool I heard he wants to live.

I was thinking their poor performance in their last two games in the premier League was as a result of their preparations against Atlanta in the champions League this week but they ended up losing the game tonight, this result tonight actually confirmed to me that Chelsea Indeed becomes a weak team during their December encounters, it's on record that they don't have good performance records when it comes to this period and some times it extends towards 1st-2nd week of January.

For now when talking about the coach Enzo still seems to be one of the most suitable coaches for Chelsea including the achievements that Chelsea got in the Enzo Maresca era because for now they have returned to the Champions League and other achievements such as the Club World Cup is Enzo's ingenuity in building a club that is already like an ordinary club because of its performance in the transition era of the previous new owner so that by looking at this it only takes a little to change, especially in terms of chemistry to remain something good for Chelsea.

Itt was a game Chelsea was supposed to win as they don't have an excuse for losing the his game to Atalanta despite that it was an away game for the London side. Opening the goal I'm the game raised my confidence on Chelsea to find an additional 2 goal but unfortunately as the god of football may have it Atalanta made a terrific equaliser and when we were expecting Chelsea to take the lead again, Atalanta showed up reminding the blues that the home advantage was really on their side.

A very surprising thing is that in the midst of their slump, Liverpool managed to win in the Champions League match against a strong and big team from Italy, Inter Milan. Although the win was narrow and the goal was only through a penalty, a win is still a win. Liverpool was just lucky to win the match in the ending minutes. For Liverpool not to play good football or still struggle even when Salah is not on the pitch means that Salah is not the problem. I wonder why Arne Slot upheld his ideology. Although, he is the coach and I do not doubt that, but I refuse to understand that a team is struggling and the best thing they could do is to bench and  blame their best player.

This Chelsea game show really hit hard on everyone, I think now everyone is coming to see what Chelsea was made up. They had the chance to beat Leed United but they failed, draw Arsenal and Bournemouth but the same team gave Barcelona 3 goals without conceding one goal in the same Champions League, anyone will think the same that they are the real MVP of Champions League but they are not, if that match wasn't not luck I don't have what to called it again.

This is the best thing Chelsea will play tomorrow of given another chance, this failure is not coming from the coach perspective, it's the players that are not giving all they had. Reece James and Caicedo are very okay with that Midfield because last week when they played without Caicedo, someone was complaining but now here is him in the game but the result was still the same.
