Inconsistencies have been the biggest issue faced by this Chelsea side since Poch was in charge and they are still yet to fix it. They get a set of good results and everyone thinks they are now in contention for the title but they then have a bad result and fail to bounce back quickly, falling into a bad run after.

I know they won the Conference league and CWC last season, but I think the club is looking more to compete for the UCL and EPL with the investments that have been made.

The inconsistency often comes when the managers are trying new tactics and last night tactics was a questionable one, I wonder what he was thinking. While Atlanta might not be consistent either they are still a solid team not to be underestimated but rather place a well solid squad against them. While I didn't blame him on the Leeds defeat last week, I expected to be sensible and understand something quickly like we saw in how he handle the game against Arsenal where we got a red card and through the game we can say he has learnt from the past games where we got a red card and a made panic changes. This game is totally is fault.

I still can't believe Chelsea lost this match. I had a prediction about this match in my mind which was that Chelsea would win with a big win. But I never imagined the match to be like this. The match was very hard fought. Both teams played very well. But Chelsea's defense couldn't do anything very well. As soon as Atalanta attacked, they reached the target. But Chelsea's attack was not that strong, Chelsea couldn't reach the target much. This match made me very disappointed.

I can't believe Chelsea lost, but sometimes things like this happen in football. Away games are usually much tougher. In closely contested matches, the team that plays more dominantly tends to create more scoring opportunities and ultimately wins. A mistake in defense opens up great opportunities for the opponent.

They were good enough when they got the advantage in the first half with 1 goal but after that I think they were too cautious in the game which made Atalanta find the rhythm of the match and in fact the performance so far is better than Chelsea.

I don't really understand Atalanta how they play, in Serie A 4 days ago they lost against Verona (one of the least performing teams in the league) now in the UCL they win against Chelsea.
Football is unpredictable for sure, but that's really absurd, Chelsea really made a fool of themselves.
I can understand he had lost to a more sportingly prepared team, not to offend Atalanta.
They won anyway and that's a fact, Chelsea took this slap and now it's going to be hard to stomach.

Cucurella was the perfect cover for Ketelaere has he moved forward before unleashing the shot towards Sanchez's goal to beat him at his near goal. Atlanta was behind but somehow found themselves in front just around the 80+ minutes. If it stays like this, then the comeback will be complete and Atlanta would have earned all 3 points.

I don't think so. It's not Atalanta who's good in this game, but it's Chelsea who has been regressing so hard. Maresca with his pathetic experiment is ruining the club. I'm wondering how long until he will stop to play RB/LB as midfielder. Things worsen with his poor his subs and tactic.

Playing Gusto as attacking midfielder is the joke of the day. It makes Chelsea is weak in both attack and defense. So Atalanta took that advantage.

Galatasaray lost 1-0 away to Monaco last night. This loss was really bad for Galatasaray in a match where even 1 point was extremely important.
Even getting 1 point would have been very good for securing a spot in the top 24, but we lost.
We played well in the first half, but we were very bad in the second half and gave the opponent many goal chances.

Manchester City will be going to Bernabéu, Pep chances are low here if I we are to go by home advantage. Madrid might be inconsistent but when the meet with City in the Champions league it always have heavy speculations. I won't be surprised if Celta Vigo result was a tactical sacrifice made by Xabi just to secure this win at Bernabéu against City

Not Inter to win but their double chance...    I thought they wouldn't lose against a problematic Liverpool at home man. But after starting to watch the performances of both teams I got wrong immediately.

Liverpool deserved the win especially thanks to their second half effort. I didn't understand how Inter could be that bad at Giuseppe Meazza... They are still horrible in big games in all tournaments.


I was expecting over 3.5 goals in the Barcelona - Frankfurt game but got disappointed... What was that performance by Barcelona? I can't believe how they struggled against a team which is very bad at defending normally.

I only watched the first half of the Galatasaray Monaco match. Galatasaray was playing better and had missed a couple of clear chances. When I woke up in the morning and saw that Monaco had won i was surprised. But after watching the highlights i understood why . In the second half Monaco really dominated the game. They deserved it.
