They are currently among the top 8 teams. They have suffered 2 defeats and managed to beat two tough teams like Real Madrid and Inter. Therefore, Liverpool are still in contention in the Champions League. They have two easy matches against Marseille and Qarabag, and I think they will get three points from both. With a total of 18 points, they can finish in the top eight of the Champions League. They are doing poorly in the Premier League, but better in the Champions League.

A 0-0 draw in the first 45 minutes of the match is making me not comfortable that bayern munich did not convert the multiple chances on goal. They made the highest possession, shots on target and still did not bang a goal.

The odd size for Bayern in this match was very small to go for a straight win for my bet I  went for over 2.5 and is a barren draw in the first half.

You can’t be comfortable if you bet on Bayern Munich to win this match despite dominating the first half of the game with both ball possession and attempts on goal.

Bayern is currently losing 1-0 through an own goal Joshua Kimmich that gives Sporting CP the lead; it’s sad to see that it’s an own goal, but I still wish Bayern can equalize as quick as possible because there is no time and Sporting CP has done so well in their last five group stage matches winning three of the matches and playing two draws, they can do well to hold this match to a draw as well to make their chance of finishing in the top eight more strong because this is the time big teams will pave their ways.

I was having my fears on Bayern Munich with what the first half was but Bayern Munich came stronger in the second half scoring three goals in a row in the space of 12 minutes. It appeared that Bayern Munich scored all the 4 goals in the match as the goal for Sporting CP was an own goal from J. Kimmich a Bayern player.

While my joy was full with Bayern Munich performance last night I had to encounter another horror from the London boys who did me dirty in Italy, after having the 1 up lead that I was happy with, but the host club  Atalanta bombarded Chelsea 2-1. That lost for Chelsea destroyed my ticket.

I was surprised by the struggle Barcelona had against Frankfurt at Camp Nou.    The first half went poorly. The improvement thankfully came later but it wasn't still enough to win by at least 2 goals.

Actually it became 2-1 in early minutes of the other half. It was really disappointing...

You think Monaco is a small team? The fact that they drew with Manchester city and won PSG already this season should let you know that Monaco are not a small club to underrate. Galatasary and Monaco are almost in the same range, their leagues are almost the same in terms of strength but for me I will rate the French league 1 as more superior the Turkish league. Monaco that won the current champions league holder and you think they couldn't win Turkish champions you are joking.

Hahaha i know that after Chelsea score the first half of the game fans was expecting more goals from them in the second and i swear Chelsea didn't believe what was coming till the final whistle hit in the extra minutes of the second half of the game, and despite Chelsea  dominated in the first half of game Atalanta bounced on them on the second half and take the lead when De Ketelaere C. Score the score goal around 83 minutes and Chelsea players was struggling to draw the game but there was no chance.

This is a sure winning for the Italian side Inter Milan, i don't see Liverpool getting a draw at the San Siro the Liverpool team is in a serious crises now and you know that, Liverpool has been struggling to win games now i think they have lost confidence in the game everything is happening to them surprisely, a team that did excellent well last season winning the English Premier league tittle are now struggling to even with the least team in the league. Enzo Maresca should be blame for the loss of Chelsea, I have been saying it that Enzo Maresca is not a coach that will win Champions League or Premier League for Chelsea, sometimes, Enzo Maresca act like he is not thinking with his head, it is high time Chelsea should know that Enzo Maresca is not good to coach Chelsea because he always make unnecessary decisions and starting players who don’t deserve to start the game.

We recently had a similar discussion here about Liverpool, before their match against Real.  
Even then, most forum members mentioned that Liverpool was in a major crisis in terms of play and results and that Real was a huge favorite to win.  
We all know how that match ended: Liverpool was the better team and won.  
Now history has repeated itself; everyone has started talking again about Liverpool's crisis, and in the end, Liverpool has once again won in the Champions League.  
It seems that everyone forgets that in these kinds of matches, all players have a special motivation and inspiration and play at their maximum. Regardless of the current crisis and poorer results in the English league, Liverpool is a very high-quality team and one of the favorites to win the Champions League this season.

Liverpool managed to return victorious from their away match against Inter. Both teams fought until the last minute to win the match, and Liverpool managed to secure victory with Szoboszlai's penalty goal in the final minutes. Thus, we can say that both teams have reached the same number of points. I think this is an important victory for Liverpool. At least with this last-minute goal, they will be able to recover a little.
Monaco hosted Galatasaray at home. Monaco managed to win the match 1-0 and increased their points to 9. Liverpool lost to a weak team like Leeds united in the last match of the Premier League. More importantly , Liverpool lost to PSV by a big margin of 4 - 1 in the last match of the champions league. The performance of Liverpool's attacking players is erratic and their defense is very weak. With a  weak defense, it will not be possible for liverpool to get points in the home match of Inter milan. I am waiting to see another defeat for liverpool.

The result was disappointing for Inter, despite having little chance Liverpool played better, that's a fact.
Inter took home a bad defeat, and at home, against all expectations, Liverpool did well.
I don't see it as a sign of recovery, but certainly as a way of saying we don't give up.

Atalanta 2 Vs Chelsea 1

Inconsistencies have been the biggest issue faced by this Chelsea side since Poch was in charge and they are still yet to fix it. They get a set of good results and everyone thinks they are now in contention for the title but they then have a bad result and fail to bounce back quickly, falling into a bad run after.

I know they won the Conference league and CWC last season, but I think the club is looking more to compete for the UCL and EPL with the investments that have been made.

The inconsistency often comes when the managers are trying new tactics and last night tactics was a questionable one, I wonder what he was thinking. While Atlanta might not be consistent either they are still a solid team not to be underestimated but rather place a well solid squad against them. While I didn't blame him on the Leeds defeat last week, I expected to be sensible and understand something quickly like we saw in how he handle the game against Arsenal where we got a red card and through the game we can say he has learnt from the past games where we got a red card and a made panic changes. This game is totally is fault.

I still can't believe Chelsea lost this match. I had a prediction about this match in my mind which was that Chelsea would win with a big win. But I never imagined the match to be like this. The match was very hard fought. Both teams played very well. But Chelsea's defense couldn't do anything very well. As soon as Atalanta attacked, they reached the target. But Chelsea's attack was not that strong, Chelsea couldn't reach the target much. This match made me very disappointed.

I am not surprised at Chelsea performance last night, I actually came to realize that ever since they won against Barcelona, they've not won any other match, so how are people even surprised at yesterday's result. You shouldn't be disappointed, the Blues haven't really been in their best form in the last couple of matches they've played, Atalanta had to open another chapter of Chelsea's inconsistency.

I was surprised by Chelsea's poor performance. It was very important for them to win the match because they are falling behind in the Champions League. Although many people thought that the win was unexpected I strongly believed that Chelsea would win against Atalanta. According to the team analysis Chelsea had a high chance and my bet was in their favour but even though it was not an unexpected result, this match was disappointing for me. Despite lead 1-0 goal in the first half of the match, the team could not maintain their best performance in the second half. I think this season will not be good for them.

Well, like I said I wasn't surprised about the results because I had to checked Chelsea antecedent in their last four games, it mostly has been draw upon draw, the only surprise I am having at the moment is how they were able to win Barcelona and that is a beauty of football, but ever since then, they've not been able to win any match, so anybody that would want to put Chelsea in his ticket should go for the option of Chelsea either win or draw, but giving Chelsea a straight win is definitely a no no for me until there is a clear prove that they are back in winning ways.

Last season Real knocked City out of the competition in the League Phase play-offs, now City get the chance to get back at them. Honestly I don't know Chelsea's problem right now, they are hard to predict. When it comes to big teams they will play like the best but smaller teams will be playing them anyhow.  The mentality to every single game matters, if truly you have the title as your goal,you will be determined to win every game regardless of what team you are playing against, but not for Maresca, he's always not consistent even previous seasons.  They have been trying but they need to start playing like they really want to win the league not just like a participant.  If Chelsea can defeat the prime PSG and Barcelona, clubs like this shouldn't be a much headache to them. Its just mentality towards every game.
