Napoli's poor performance could be attributed to the number of injured players in the squad and also to Antonio Conte's style of play which entails more of defense than attacking despite having a great squad with players with attacking prowess. Although Napoli's chances of qualifying for the play-offs are currently in jeopardy, they still have a chance to advance if they beat Copenhagen in their next match, as they are level on points. Napoli will need to improve their performance and field their best squad in the remaining matches to have a chance of qualifying for the play-offs.
However, I am very confident that Napoli will continue their journey in the Champions League as I see them playing very well and are in a very good position in Serie A, potentially even leading the table.

That's my opinion and of course you can think like that. But if you remember the group stage format there was no such thing until the end of all 6 matches. There was a 2-month break after it and right before Round of 16.

I say just finish league phase and then give that break. It is no fun to divide the matches in this phase unevenly like this. Probably they won't change it but I just wanted to share what I think about it.  

Your opinion is quite reasonable, because it is true that it seems like losing momentum when the competition stops in the middle of the phase, there are only two weeks left to complete this initial phase, but I can also understand why FIFA is taking this break, especially since FIFA cannot follow the same path as before with the addition of participants, one way if you don't want to take this kind of break is to just start the competition earlier.

Given their current position, I don't think Napoli are in a good position in the UCL. But as you said, perhaps Conte has decided to rotate some players and focus more on Serie A. Napoli has defeated AC Milan in the Supercoppa Italia semifinals and advanced to the final. They will most likely face Inter Milan in the final. They are in third place in the league and still have a strong chance of winning the title. Yes, I don't think Conte is prioritizing the UCL right now. Perhaps if Napoli advances to the knockout stages, Conte will change his strategy.

Considering the amount of competitions they are in, Napoli is not at the size of competing in all of them. They are barely good enough to win their own league, maybe won't even win it, so the fact is that we are seeing a team that is not doing that wonderful already, and if they split into many competitions then the result wouldn't be that great.

They already beat Milan in super cup, and that means they have one more game for the final, and that is more than enough, there isn't really anything we can do for them to have bigger depth unless they get some good players in the winter break. They are already missing some key players like KDB and Lukaku, so it is going to be very tough for them to get wins at UCL as well later in the season.

I started respecting Atalanta after they won Eintracht Frankfurt and move further to win Chelsea. Since their new coach arrived their form has really experienced a new shape, and they are not comfortably winning matches back-to-back unlike when they were losing and playing many draws. I could recall when they went 4 consecutive Serie A games that ended in a draw. Atalanta possess a fighting spirit so i think that they will really go far in the Champions League games. Last season they only reached the play-off round and got eliminated by Club Brugge, but this season am seeing them get direct qualification to the round of 16 and even reach the quarter finals.

I think besides good tactics , Xabi needs the ability to handle the egos of star players. Players like Vini and Mbappé certainly have big egos due to their ability. Xabi needs to approach several players to build chemistry and cohesion between them. What made Don Carlo and Zidane successful at Real Madrid was their ability to handle the egos of their superstar players.

Nobody gave them a chance in the Chelsea match, but Atalanta surprised everyone. They secured a valuable three points against Chelsea, increasing their chances of advancing to the next round of the Champions League. I believe Atalanta can achieve even greater things in the future, but for now, this victory is commendable.

The good option would be to first loan him out to any of the top league club in La Liga or other top European leagues and watch how he performs for half a season or full season before fully deciding his fate.

Atlanta under this new coach has been trying their best to come back to winning ways the Atlanta that we all knows two seasons ago.Atlanta was impressive against Chelsea as they raised their game when no body expected that they were going to win against Chelsea when Chelsea was the favorite to win. Atlanta is a good team when they want to be good but I cannot bet that they will qualify to the next stage because the competition is getting tougher and migh get them overwhelmed soon. We don't know them as a serious team when it comes to the Champions league,  they have no track records so there is absolutely nothing to base any hopes on. They should give their best and whatever comes out of it, they should be contented with it.

I was watching this football catoon that Vini used to cry at the end of every video. I watched it and why Vini was crying, Endrick was seen old on the bench.
It was funny but the same time sad. The first person that would have fallen this victim was Rodrigo. It is surprising how Rodrigo survived and started becoming regular for Xavi.

Every club have their hard times maybe this is one of Madrid's tough time and they have to deal with it cause they're a team that's capable of doing so, well things haven't really gone very bad in their domestic and Champions league competition so there's enough time for them to try put things in order.

I'm a Real Madrid fan but I see them in a very bad way, honestly I'm disappointed, and it's not so much Xabi, it's the players. In my opinion, being ranked first in the standings is important because even though there is no guarantee of winning the Champions League, being ranked first means we will advance directly to the round of 16 without having to go through the play-offs. So, if we are ranked first, our preparations for playing in the round of 16 will be more thorough, unlike teams that have to go through the play-offs first. So, in my opinion, it would be better to be at the top of the standings and ultimately win the Champions League.

There is actually a reason they want to add in more rules regarding the home and away matches because the UEFA management probably noticed that except for not going through knockout play-offs there is no extra advantage a team that had 100% record and was number one of the table has over the other lower qualifying teams.

Definitely we can tell that other teams is really await him, if only he is ready to make the move out from real Madrid. As it stand now, Arsenal had automatically qualified to the knockout stage after winning their last match against Club Brugge, so even if Arsenal lose all their games, they will surely qualify to the knockout stage meanwhile I am sure they will not lose any of their matches.

Furthermore, for Chelsea, Liverpool, and Barcelona to qualify they need to win their next matches because this competition is now tough, so for any team to make it to the knock out stage or succeed in the Champions League.
