The case of Atalanta is one which I consider as a team that will still qualify beyond this stage even with their unstable and unpredictable performances, they still have a way of knowing vital games they should squarely win so as to not get them in a position that will gwt them falling back and not proceeding beyond the current stage.

Atalanta is a fairly astute team, and they have seen that the competition in the domestic league is currently very fierce, so they have begun to focus their efforts on the Champions League, where they have so far managed to finish in the top five. I also think Atalanta will advance directly to the next round without qualifying because Atalanta's performance in the Champions League so far has been very different from their performance in Serie A this season.

Atalanta's performance so far has been very different in the domestic league compared to their performance in UCL. So it's no surprise that Atalanta will focus on UCL rather than the league. In UCL they have a strong chance of qualifying directly for the round of 16, especially since their remaining group stage matches will only involve relatively easy opponents.

However Atalanta isn't a strong team with a strong squad. Even if they focus on UCL they won't be able to advance further in UCL due to the formidable competition this season. So with the squad they have I don't think they can advance far in UCL let alone reach the final. It must be admitted that defeating Chelsea in their previous match has boosted Atalanta's confidence. They are even considered a team capable of surprising other big teams. However every team will continue to make changes once they reach the Round of 16. With Atalanta's squad it will be very difficult for them to advance further in UCL. So Atalanta should still prioritize Serie A, at least finishing in the top five.

Defeating Chelsea doesn't mean they will go far In the Champions League because Chelsea as a team have been inconsistent this season, they win games we thought they can not win and lose in game we thought shouldn't be an headache to them, they have been like that even in Premier league, I was shock to see Atlanta defeat Chelsea in that match but in game of football anything can happen anytime to any team. And for Atalanta, I honestly don't see them going that far in champions league for now, if they are able to go that far,it's going to be a tough one for them because there are many tough and more consistent teams to play with

I don't doubt this results on the highest top goal scorer's in the UEFA champion League tournament this season because Mbappe is good at that level,  there is no match Mbappe don't help Real Madrid to score goal in this season to push the team to opportunity to win the match because they are good in working together in that team to make sure their forward players are scoring goals, even though  Victor osimhen, Alvarez, Haaland and Kane will come close to Mbappe in the remaining matches, I don't think they will take that position from him in this season because he is not tired of scoring goals, for Real Madrid management to agree to spend huge amount of funds to signed Mbappe in the summer season, they knew that he will get to this top goal scorer's record in the UEFA champion League tournament to make the team and their fans happy.

Three goals gap from Erling Haaland I don't think easily for Mbappe become top scorer of UEFA Champion League this season, actually depend on Real Madrid achieved will success lead to higher round until final or get eliminate early. Mbappe already on fire performance this season lead top scorer in La Liga and UEFA Champion League, scoring 9 goals of 5 matches and Mbappe only absent one match for Real Madrid.

I don't think Osimhen as competitor for Champion League top scorer, Galatasaray maybe get eliminate early but I think Haaland is greatest competitor for Mbappe with possibility Manchester City can qualify until semifinal or final round. I doubt Madrid will on fire in Champion League and lead to higher round after losing 2 of 6 matches in phase league round.

Well, it will depend on whether Real Madrid will succeed in advancing further or not. Osimhen remains extraordinary. Even though he is in a team that is not particularly favored in the UCL, namely Galatasaray, he is still able to make his mark in the competition to become the top scorer in the UCL. As for Mbappe, he is indeed a very reliable player, but the many goals he has scored are also inseparable from the quality assists he has received from other outstanding players at Real Madrid. Without that, even Mbappe would find it difficult to score many goals.

Real Madrid must win the upcoming matches if they want to advance directly to the next stage without having to go through the playoffs first. Personally, I believe Haaland will have the opportunity to score many goals as well, which might allow him to overtake Mbappe.

Xabi Alonso is managing  to function as head coach at Real Madrid despite him being on intense pressure. Xabi Alonso read the agreement of his contract before signing for the job. So he knew what he was going to face at Real Madrid and that is what it is. Xabi Alonso was right to benched Mbappe in the game against Manchester City, Xabi wanted see how the team plays important matches without Kylian Mbappe. Xabi Alonso didn't feature Kylian Mbappe for a reason and he was disappointed to see that Real Madrid can't win against Manchester City without Kylian Mbappe. I can say Xabi Alonso is doing what he can to restructure the team and he is doing his best,we should appreciate it

Bayern Munich's main striker kane has the ability to be the top scorer of the Champions League. Because Munich's squad is very strong, at the same time Kane also has the ability to score many goals. On the other hand, it is unlikely that alvarez will be the top scorer of the Champions League. He has scored only 4 goals so far. On the other hand, Mbappe has scored 9 goals. But Martinelli can be a big threat, you have to look at Asrenal's very good performance this season, especially if Arsenal advances further in the Champions League, I really doubt that Atletico Madrid can reach the quarter-finals with their current state, Alvarez will not be included in the threat category for the top scorer position, it is even more likely that Rashford or Vitinha than Alvarez will be the top scorer.

bro I understand your feelings. If I'm not mistaken you are a fan of Argentine football. Anyway, Alvarez is a very talented player, I don't deny that. And I like his gameplay too. But I don't understand how you think Alvarez can be the top scorer in the champions league this season.

First of all, the chances of Atletico Madrid qualifying for the Champions league final are very slim. The biggest chance is that they will be eliminated in the Round of 16. He has scored 4 goals and 2 assists in 5 champions league matches. This is a very good performance. But will Alvarez score 5+ goals in the next 3/4 Champions League matches? This chance  is very slim. Mbappe has scored  9 goals. Alvarez is 5 goals behind. My guess is that Alvarez will score a maximum of 7 goals in this champions league.

The manager of Napoli should have thought about injuries when he was brought to the team this would have made him to have more players as back up knowing that injuries are meant to happen but he didn't do that instead he was busy selecting players of his choice without considering the replacement for players in the cases or injuries. Now his team is suffering as rhxt results it has affected their performance especially in the champions League, the teams will be hoping for a return of their players if not they will find out difficult to finish the league as winners.

Napoli mostly have issues with injuries, as they are competing in multiple leagues, which will definitely affect them. The best option for them may be to forfeit the Champions League and focus on the other competitions. We all know that on Monday they have a final to play against Bologna in the Supercoppa Italiana, and that will not be an easy task for them.

They are struggling with injuries, and I don’t think even their next game in the Champions League will favor them, because Copenhagen are also not ready to quit and their performance is almost the same in the competition. Conte needs to find the best solution for his team.

At the moment it's for Conte to mange the precarious situation of his team in the best way possible to avoid losing at least for now till January when he could cover for those weak spots in the team caused by injuries. Maybe he doesn't have to forfeit any of the competition as that may not really help as they could still be losing games anyway. In their next game again Copenhagen, I think that's an equal match going by Napoli's injuries situation, it might a draw game though.

Atalanta also knows that competing in the Champions League is not easy, because there are many obstacles and challenges in each knockout stage. And every team can still improve as long as there's time to make changes. A team like Chelsea can also bounce back in the remainder of the season as long as they remain determined to improve in both the domestic league and the Champions League. Likewise, Atalanta can generally still make better changes in the remaining time, so no team should underestimate Atalanta in the Champions League competition.

This Champions League new format has even made it much more easier for players to score more goals in the competition unlike before. Them they had just 6 games in the group stages but now the new format has provided additional 2 stages to play in which makes it 8 and that's not all, they even included a playoff stage of home and away for teams that made from 9 - 24th position. That's more games to play and more goals to be scored. With the way these players are firing from all cylinders, I'm sure before the group stages will be over, we will be seeing more than 10 goals from an individual.

Atletico Madrid's game is always different in the UCL. Despite their poor domestic league performances, they always find their own way to win. In other words their mentality in the UCL is unquestionable especially against Galatasaray. They can certainly navigate this match well. Furthermore considering the H2H record between the two teams Atletico Madrid is superior to Galatasaray as is the quality of their players.

2 matches are remaining in group stage, after these games it's going to be more interesting like which team is going to stay but most chances Mbappé is going to stay at the top of goalscorers list, he is at his best and his performance is going to be important for his team.

If anyone can challenge him for me, it's going to be Harry Kane because he is also one of the best player and his performance is also have amazing improvement after having spot into Bayern Munich. Alvarez is also good, but it's not easy for him to play like players who are mentioned above, upcoming game between Galatasaray vs Atlético Madrid is going to be important for both the clubs as two youngsters will be giving their best for their clubs.

Mbappe is really trying to stay at the top of the goal scorers and after he won the most goals in last match, he has been able to achieve that and I applaud his efforts. We still have many matches ahead and anything can happen as any team could fall out in the process, so basically, he may remain at the top for now, but later cannot be certain that he’ll remain there forever as he has other players from other teams contesting to stay at the top also while pushing their team further for the trophy.

And for Atalanta, I honestly don't see them going that far in champions league for now, if they are able to go that far,it's going to be a tough one for them because there are many tough and more consistent teams to play with

I also cannot vouch so much for Atalanta to go that far in the champions league even after defeating Chelsea in their last match, so I see them as a very weak team for the champions league title. The game of football can be sometimes very difficult to predict and anything could happen, but I still don’t see them as the best choice for the title and may not really make it that far in the champions league even after passing through the group stage matches.
