Second half was truly merciless for the Brugge, my network connection was so poor, it didn’t drop my reply on time but I watched the first half completely to the half time and dropped the message by the time. I was even surprised truly to see the end of the game with extra three goals from the Atletico Madrid side making it a total of 4 goals to 1 and an aggregate of 7 solid goals. Not so happy to see Brugge end this way after all the efforts in the first leg and the efforts in the first half of the second leg. We were expecting more but saw less with a goalless second half from the Brugge side. Not much to say but the did has already been done and Atletico should be proud of themselves right now.

Lol, they wouldn't have ended this way, not when you meet a superior team than you, and in this case, it was obvious that ATM would not allow Brugge to scale through, what did you expected? You were expecting that Atletico Madrid would not have won against Club brugge, people are too underrating ATM. One thing with ATM is that each season they might not be that super in form but can't be taken too much for granted. You saw how the game went, and it was a clear thrashing.

Honestly there wasn't a surprising result for me tonight. All 4 teams I expected went through. Maybe the Inter match could be seen as a surprise, but Bodø/Glimt showed that their win in the first leg wasn't a coincidence. Last season's finalist Inter were knocked out in the play-off round this time. They didn't win Serie A last year, but this season they're winning it very comfortably. We could say their season ended tonight. They won't give away a 10-point lead. The overall decline of Serie A teams that we talked about here last week continues.

I agree with this because Bodo/Glimt done impressive performance while they dismantled Manchester City and then Inter Milan at home with same score, this was big boost for them to have spot into top 16, now playing at Milan things were expected to be challenging, but they managed all in perfect manner.

Newcastle was playing with great advantage, and they keep things under their control while Bayer Leverkusen is also done good job even match was boring, but now their spot is done into top 16, this is going to be good for them. Club Brugge look more like they meant business in this return leg, Athletico looks weaker defensively, it may likely cost them more than just an equalizer if care isn't taken. ATH first goal isn't a clean one. They've not had good opportunities to score this evening compared to Club Brugge. I think D.Simeone needs to reinforce his defense or risk more goals from the away team. ATH has more possession and overall statistics, but their opponents are more dangerous in front of goal.

They ca mean business all they want, it’s very unlikely that they would defeat this Atletico Madrid team. There is no defeat here for them and the best Club Brugge can hope for is a draw but even that would elude them really fast because, more like them but with more intent, Atletico Madrid means business. They are not going to let Club Brugge to another equalizer after just taking the lead for a second time, instead they might add yet another goal to their lead and strengthen their position in the game.

Yeah, ATH did a wonderful job in the second half and extended the margin to 3 goals. Normally Athletico Madrid isn't to be compared with Club Brugge but the first half was very tempting for them. It's good they reclaimed their spot in the next round. Bode/Glimt is looking feracious at this point,  winning Inter Milan both from home and away isn't a simple task. Let's see how long they'll last in the competition.

I had my doubts about this game but i still thought that Inter would have a chance since they are playing from the home side. They even beat Manchester City in the league stage. Therefore, this low-budget and seemingly weak team should never be underestimated. I don't know who they'll face in the Round of 16, but we have to say they are one of the best and most surprising teams in this qualifier. They are particularly effective and dangerous at home. They have the potential to sell many of their players to big teams by the end of this season.

Inter, having lost this match and been eliminated, will now be able to focus solely on the Italian league. Perhaps this will actually help them win the league more easily.

This result seems likely to me and my friends on this forum. Before the match many people were talking about it and supporting Bodo/Glimt. This is because many people saw Bodo/Glimt's performance when they beat Man City before facing Inter. Their result against Man City certainly gave them confidence. The result of the first match against Inter will certainly increase everyone's interest in supporting them. That's why I dare to say something like this. Before the second match there was a lot of discussion here and many were even biased towards Bodo/Glimt.

This significant advantage came against a team whose reputation wasn't comparable to Newcastle's so it was natural for Newcastle to achieve a convincing result as the quality of Newcastle's players was superior to that of the visitors.
Indeed with the scoreless the match certainly seemed quite boring as there were no goals scored in the Bayer Leverkusen vs Olympiacos match even though the aggregate score was already in favor of the home team. At least the match provided some entertainment for the fans who had filled the stadium. What Bayer Leverkusen did was certainly not the same as the match between Atlético Madrid vs Club Brugge where in that match the home team went on a rampage against the visiting team resulting in many goals being scored in the match which took place at Atlético Madrid's headquarters.

If Atalanta and Juve are also eliminated today, there won't be any Italian teams left in the competition.

Their issue with poor defence has always been there but this season it has gotten even worse, losing to bodo in the first and second leg in unbelievable for a team like inter. whoever is coaching bod Glimt right now is doing a good job, their midfield and attack is perfect. At this point we should be on the look out for this team because they are really out to go the extra mile to be at the top this season.

Maybe his head injury affected his sense of reasoning. I was also wondering why he was verbally attacking his teammates after making such a costly mistake. That single goal might have affected the game negatively to a large extent. However, I think Inter Milan was just unlucky. They created many chances but were not able to convert them. Some of their strikes hit the goal post, were blocked by defenders, or saved by Bodo goalkeeper Nikita Haikin.

Inter was without key players Lautaro Martínez and Hakan Çalhanoglu. Their absence is not an excuse for losing at home after they were defeated in Norway. It's quite shameful that a finalist last season was knocked out by a relatively unknown club.

The second leg for Madrid vs Benfica, Madrid seems like it will be a bit tough as they will be without Huijsen. Huijsen did not train on Tuesday due to a calf issue. Another piece of news is that Mbappe's knee is not in good condition. I never believe this game would be the last for Inter honestly because they look like a team that will dominate Bodø/Glimt and get more goals and win the game. Never knew it will end in  their home for the visitors to advance into the next round. Losing home and away is a disgrace for a team who made it to the champions league final last campaign and they got knocked out in this manner...no team should be underrated anymore as long as they made it to the round of 16 and I imagine Monaco doing the same to PSG, that's if they can manage up and beat the Ligue 1 champions.

It was a terrible evening for Inter. I'm writing this comment again, but I still can't shake off my astonishment. How could they not even win the match in Italy, let alone advance to the next round? Even scoring one goal out of 30 shots is problematic. Inter should have managed to score 4 or 5 goals in this match. For Borussia Dortmund, it was a historic victory, a historic night. If they draw Sporting in the next round, they have a chance to eliminate them.

Still, I kept hoping that Inter’s level would allow them to do it. But reality turned out the opposite. Bodo/Glimt is totally underrated team. They beat so many big clubs from the top league, yet people are still calling them weak team. They're the team that was successfully beating 4 big clubs from the top 5 leagues since Ajax did it at 1972.

It proves that how capable they are even in reaching the quarter or semi final. They played with all of confidence. They're also very discipline in moving up and down like they have unlimited stamina.

At this point i think Norway team has been improving so much. I won't call it as coincidence caused by they fight with everything they have. They deserve it. They're potentially to face City, which is gonna be interesting game.

I honestly never saw this coming from the beginning because when they were paired against each other from the very beginning, I thought that inter milan was going to win them and qualify to the next round of the competition regardless of the good results this bodo/Glimt team have gotten in their past few games in the uefa champions league, and the most shocking of them all was yesterday final results because since inter milan lost 3-1 in the first leg, I thought that they will do everything in their power to at least win this bodo/Glimt team even though they eventually get knockout, but to my surprise, they still lost the game at the san siro, what a shame. This returns leg proves that Bodo team is very deserving of their place in the round of 16 that they just qualify for, kudos to them for knocking out last year finalist out of the competition.

I had the chance to watch a bit of the Newcastle match. When the goals came one after another at the beginning, I thought there was going to be a historic margin of victory, but then Qarabag leveled the playing field. Right at the start of the second half, Qarabag made it 2-1, but Newcastle quickly responded and made it 3-1. Then, because it was late, I went to sleep and saw the score in the morning: Newcastle won the match 3-2. I think Qarabag is on the right track and will achieve remarkable success in European competitions in the coming years, like Bodo/Glimt.

Honestly, I've been saying this for a long time, Inter are just focusing on the league, they can't compete beyond that.
Now that he's clearly proven it, I think even his black and blue fan friends are convinced. It's a team that promises a lot and actually has the foundation to be a great team, but you never understand why at times it plays to make the pitch shake, at other times it plays to make you laugh.
Anyway the only thing they can get is Serie A this season.
