It's not bad. Ferran shouldn't be starting in the first place, his performance is like a cycle with different stages from worst to perfect and resetting back to default every now and then.

Lewandowski slows the game down too these days, he only delivers if he's in a position to shoot for a goal but it's still better than having Ferran start the match.

Their last match against Bilbao in La Liga shows some signs of weakness. Hopefully, they don't end in the same setting today but Lamine needs to create chances rather than looking for a glorious title if they are truly going to win this game.

I really like your points of views. The Barcelona players at times seem confusing when meeting with big club, so regarding the Ferran Torres and Lewandowski. It's actually true that Ferran Torres can be inconsistent sometimes, and the Lewandowski has being on this his slowly habits of playing for a long, though age counts, so I don't blame him at times, but he's actually playing his role with confident, by focusing on finishing chances and that's the best thing to do. However, if Barcelona  take a good/best decisions against Newcastle United Fc. By balancing thier defences and attacking methods, it's going to help them to secure a victory against Newcastle than to relaying on an individual players, and if thier midfield is poor, it would creat a good chance opportunities for Newcastle United to secure a goal aggressively, starting with the players that can be able to move the ball forward and can maintain the attacking pressures from Newcastle would be better. Lamine Yamal should also try and be creating chances of goals efficiently. The Newcastle is  aslo a club that tightening up thier belts when meeting with bigger clubs.

Yeah, Real Madrid has a long list of injured players for the upcoming match against Man City. Mbappe, Bellingham, Militao, Alaba, Asencio, Rodrygo, Ceballos, Camavinga, Carreras are injured. As you can see, this injured player list is elite.

Meanwhile, Man City do not have big problems with injured players. The injured players are not as significant as Real Madrid's players. However, Man City will play at the Santiago Bernabeu. We all know they won it back in December last year, but after that Man City also lost against Bodø/Glimt.

Personally, I think the risk-to-reward ratio for betting on Man City seems interesting (if you are a Real Madrid fan).

I have the same view, but with a slightly different reason, I see their match as a regular match because I feel a bit bored that for several consecutive seasons they always meet in the round of 16, if the meeting was in a different round it would be a different story. In terms of performance, yes there is only a slight difference, Man City looks better but it is not their best performance at the moment, I predict that the first leg match will not be too interesting, meaning in terms of the game of both teams, they may not show a match as if it were a final match as usual from their matches.

I also believe that Manchester City is now stronger. Real Madrid has lost 2 of last 4 games. Manchester City has won 8 of its last 10 games and lost none. In the league, both teams are on 2. place and to 1. place there are 4-7 far away. So both teams need to play powerfully in the Champions League to have a chance for a successful season. A season without a title for both team is a reason for a new coach or a major change in the team.

Right, current performance Robert Lewandowski has better perform than Ferran Torres both in La Liga or UEFA Champion League match, based on the formation seems not any significant change from Hansi Flick for today match against Newcastle United. Lamine Yamal and Raphinha will play at left and right winger position exactly at midfielder has Pedri never change yet as the regular player in this season.

Your choice for Bayer is still quite okay, but I would reconsider Barca. Barcelona has two sides, the confused side and the dominant side. They mostly turn up with the dominant side in most games, but they could switch to the confused side at any time.
Newcastle is at home for this legץ, I won't say they won't perform, but even if it's going to be the confused side, then I'm sure they won't allow what happened to them against Atletico to repeat itself again(not that worse).

Well that's what I think, we know Liverpool are favorites in all aspects but Liverpool are not a consistent team when playing away from home unless the away match is the second leg then the situation might be different.
