I’m more happy and excited that the World Champions have lost today to Paris-Saint-German and I’m completely sure they will not make it to the next round of the Champions League, because I’m not seeing a comeback in Stanford Bridge, Chelsea was very disappointing in the game, they seems like a team that aren’t ready to play football, and you know what, like I always say that Cole Palmer is highly overrated, tonight was still evident that Cole Palmer is still overrated, I don’t really see anything special about his playing ability.

Liverpool still have a chance against Galatasaray, Newcastle, Manchester City, Newcastle Tottenham, looks like teams that will be going out next week in this Champions League, Arsenal and Liverpool are the only teams that looks like teams that will be qualifying for the next round of the Champions League, Never say never football is unpredictable and let’s see how it goes with this teams, when the next leg fixtures comes.

I so much love your question, the strength of the EPL teams are suppose to be shown at this stage of the competition because EPL produced more clubs than the other leagues but yet again nothing serious came out of their performance. Teams in the EPL I don't expect much from them are Tottenham and Liverpool but the rest are suppose to make their opponents feel the heat instead they collected a lot of goals. Madrid have always been waiting for today to face the Citizens in the champions league, they both have histories in this competition and is bad that tonight Pep didn't score any goal, I wonder how they'd manage in the EPL in chase for the title...for me Manchester City are just tired of chasing what they can't catch.

It is really so unbelievable that none of the Premier League teams could win their match in this first leg. The worst performance came from Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham as they all lost their matches with a difference of 3 goals each. Tottenham lost to Atletico Madrid by 5:2, Chelsea lost to PSG by 5:2 and Manchester City lost to Real Madrid by 3:0. I'm even wondering what the fate of the teams that have the chances of qualifying for the quarter finals would be because i don't trust Liverpool and Newcastle, the only team that has possibility of moving to the next phase is Arsenal. This is a wakeup call to the Premier League teams because they produced the highest number in this Champions League season, 6 teams in that matter.

It's shameful to see the English teams that dominated the Champions League during the group stage couldn't win their match in the first leg of the round of 16.  Arsenal, Newcastle United, and Liverpool have a chance to make it to the next stage of the Champions League, but since Chelsea, Manchester City, and  Tottenham Hotspur lost by three goals difference they will be officially knockout from the Champions League in the second leg of the round of 16. It will be difficult for some Premier League teams to wake-up because the damage on them is too much.

PSG against Chelsea was really a shock, understanding the match from my perspective it seems difficult or Chelsea don’t have what it takes to defend? Like the goals was very much and honestly speaking Chelsea can’t stay in the title race with just 2 goals below and the opponent 5 goals ahead. PSG should also not stay relaxed because refusing to play well can as well fall down the whole hard work.
I wonder why will Arsenal decide to draw? If not for penalty I believe Bayer Leverkusen would have won the match against Arsenal, the backward performance for the club Arsenal need to be questioned because they can’t win any trophy with such poor performance.

No good news for the English premier League clubs in the round of 16. They're all having pretty pour results and we have seen the clubs that are completely not going to survive to the next round. How on earth will Manchester City concede 3 goals against Real Madrid and Chelsea conceding 5 goals at Parc Des Princes stadium. These English clubs, do you think they're good enough? I doubt because the UCL is not all about physique but tactics. Tonight happen to be one of the best night so far for Real Madrid. This is the club that we want to see lift the UCL trophy again.

Arsenal and Liverpool can still turn things around in the second leg, plus the aggregate is very low for this team, we might get a blow because the performance of the English team really makes us think the Premier League is not good, Leverkusen can be beaten, likewise Galatasaray by Liverpool, this can certainly be fought in the home match. Meanwhile, others like Chelsea, Newcastle, Tottenham and Manchester City are very difficult to get hope of winning in this round because their opponents are very superior or can be said to be unbeatable like Newcastle vs Barcelona.

Going by the scoreboard, Chelsea might look like they disappointed, but the truth for mevis that , the Chelsea team actually had a good game, I think towards the end of the game they started having defensive errors from the initial goalkeeper mistake and the rest, if they stood their ground, I believe this game would ended that initially 2-2. Looking at the aggregates already the odds are against Chelsea, well with the way they played today if they can correct some of the defensive errors they had I'm sure by the time PSG come to Stanford bridge, the results might change.

It was a great performance and honestly i was rooting for them. Kvara got the highest rating, 8.4, and in my opinion he's one of the best signings PSG have ever made. It was absolutely other way around for the English premier league clubs. Yesterday was Tottenham Hotspur and today none of them were able to get a win even Arsenal that was having a great performance couldn't make it in this first leg, also Manchester city that was playing very well couldn't make it against Real Madrid I was not much surprised about Chelsea because they are not in good shape. Of course Real Madrid have finally used Chelsea to show their talent and it's obvious that they have qualify for the next round because I don't see Chelsea as a serious team this season.

I'm now labelling my club as overthinking FC. It's hard to understand the way City played caused by they're getting worsen even with the full squad. The thing the surprised me even Madrid fans did not expect this result btw. We made them look like a prime madrid back a few years ago.

This doesn't mean losing for them because most of them played away from home so I don't expect them to win easily visiting some team at their home stadium so let's see how it ends when they play at home. We all remember when Chelsea won psg in the fifa world cup and some people thought that they are actually going to win the game today because of that but at the result was really surprising, psg really dominated the game and when I thought the game would end in a draw they still scored 2 more goals. Chelsea are not in form currently and that was one of the things that made me know that they wouldn't be able to win psg today. Psg are really doing well perhaps they might end up winning the champions league this season.

Honestly I was not even expecting the outcome of the game I saw like this, it was jaw dropping to watch how Madrid dealt with Manchester City in today’s match. I was predicting a draw game or at least a very slight win from any of the both parties though with upper hands to the Real Madrid even in the squad depth but one thing I also look at from the Manchester City is the coach in person of Pep Guardiola whom will regard losing this way as dishonorable and will like to work hard for something less but he’s also disappointed right now.
