This season, Liverpool has truly become a different Liverpool from the one we saw last season. The team seems to have lost its chemistry or something. even though they are still coached by the same manager, we can see that the team's cooperation is not as good as last season. To be honest, PSG haven't looked like their old selves from last year lately. They had an unconvincing run in the Champions League, and in Ligue 1, they are only one point ahead of second-placed Lens. Because of that, I could totally see Chelsea beating PSG. However, what the French side pulled off simply blew me away; PSG certainly got their revenge on the Blues for that frustrating loss in the Club World Cup final. The second leg will be in England, but if PSG play like that again, they will easily cruise into the next round of the Champions League.

I didn't watch the match but I only saw the video clip and indeed Man City was unexpectedly a team that had a strong squad couldn't score a single goal in that match, while Real Madrid, even though their main players were injured, played well. Valverde was truly a hero in that match and yes, no one expected Valverde to perform that well. Real Madrid's 3-0 victory against Man City was a disaster for Man City in the first leg because in the second leg Real Madrid would definitely have an easier time winning because usually if they win in the first leg, especially if they score a lot of goals, they will usually be more enthusiastic. Hey guys, what do you think of Bodo/Glimt's legendary performance? They beat teams like Manchester City, Inter, and Sporting Lisbon at home. Bodo has become an unbeatable team in their city. They could be the best performing team in the Champions League this year. Unless we see a football miracle in Portugal, Bodo will advance to the next round and perhaps reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League for the first time in their history. The progress they've made in the last three years deserves credit. As a football team, they are constantly improving. Many of their players may move to other teams this summer.

I so much love your question, the strength of the EPL teams are suppose to be shown at this stage of the competition because EPL produced more clubs than the other leagues but yet again nothing serious came out of their performance. Teams in the EPL I don't expect much from them are Tottenham and Liverpool but the rest are suppose to make their opponents feel the heat instead they collected a lot of goals. Madrid have always been waiting for today to face the Citizens in the champions league, they both have histories in this competition and is bad that tonight Pep didn't score any goal, I wonder how they'd manage in the EPL in chase for the title...for me Manchester City are just tired of chasing what they can't catch.

Honestly I was not even expecting the outcome of the game I saw like this, it was jaw dropping to watch how Madrid dealt with Manchester City in today’s match. I doubt they'd make it to the next round when they travel to Camp Nou, but that game last night?! Thatbwasnone of the best wins I have seen them pulled up at Saint James's park this season. I really do not know how Eddie Howe does it,but he's been brilliant against big sides. All the errors spotted in the champions League by the English goal keepers will always be remembered because the pictures and video of the games will always be replayed but if they goal keepers improve and their teams are able to qualify for this round after losing the first leg then no body will blame them much because they proved themselves in the return leg which helped their team to get better and progress to the next round. The Real Madrid players performed as if they had no burden on their shoulders even though Real Madrid was missing several of their key players in this match. You are right because the round might unfavour a lot of premier League clubs, right now Newcastle United and Arsenal could be the only ones that's going forward with the premier League name on the champions League but in terms of thinking about the clubs the both of them are against, Arsenal might be the only team to win their opponent because they possessed Leverkusen and nearly won them but the unlucky conceding was why Arsenal could not but with nice possession and more concentrated Arsenal will see victory but for Newcastle United, Barcelona was already possessing them first match and is rarely to see Newcastle United to be the reason of losing round of Barcelona.

I think there is a rather unique fact about the Premier League teams in the first leg of the round of 16. I think you may have noticed it too.

At least six Premier League teams made it to the Round of 16. however, strangely enough, none of them managed to secure a win in the first leg. In fact, four of them suffered defeats. For instance, Manchester City lost to Real Madrid, Liverpool fell to Galatasaray, Chelsea was defeated by PSG, and Tottenham also lost to Atletico Madrid.

And even more strangely, three of the teams lost by a margin of three goals. That was quite surprising to me. then there were two teams with the same draw result, Arsenal and Newcastle, who could only manage a 1-1 draw against their respective opponents. So I think we can almost certainly say that three Premier League teams may not advance because they lost by a three-goal margin in the first leg. And that will be difficult to overturn.

As for the other three teams, their situations are still uncertain. But I'm confident that Arsenal will advance to the next stage. I have my doubts about Newcastle and Liverpool.

We all knows that Real Madrid has surprise us before when all hope were lost and they pull up like we didn't see it coming again. They almost loss to Manchester City in the same Champions League some seasons back but when they played second leg at home, they won in the 90+ minute, they have also did this with PSG one time when Messi, Neymar and Mbape were in that club, Real Madrid shows the world they were the best and they won the match.

The result with this Manchester City is surprising because they didn't have much good players left but it's not surprising because that's what Real Madrid are known for. My only concern now is what will happen in Etihad is what I don't know yet. Manchester City will not let them go scot free in this league without a fight but many are saying they are not in good form, they might not do well even at home in the second leg.
