This is soo true, honestly it took that last leg against Man City to make me realize this philosophy, Real Madrid are lethal in the Champions League regardless of there form. After watching Tottenham's performance at Liverpool's home ground, we feel like the Spurs were much more focused in tonight's game, to be honest I have seen this team lose many matches but tonight they managed to turn things around in their thirtieth match at Anfield. There are some teams that will win you 3-0 in the first leg of either round of 16, quarter final, and semi final, you can't overture the score in the second leg. I agree with that, Real Madrid have a unique feeling with the Champions League, almost unique I would say. No matter how "bad" the team can be (bad until a certain of course, at the end it's always Real Madrid), they can't never be underestimated. I was really surprised by their large win in the first leg; and considering City's poor performances I don't think they'll be able to score the 3 goals they need.

Two important players like Bellingham and Mbappe were not in the squad against city. But Valverde's great performance resulted in real madrid winning by a large margin. Yea, Newcastle can perform whatever magic they can but it's not possible for them to win Barcelona at home.
