Im not so much excited about this comeback round for Champions League, a few of the keys are already decided, Atalanta 0 chance to do something already out, Chelsea is out, Galatasaray is not gonna hold on Liverpool, Manchester City needs a miracle but right now im not seeing this.

there are teams that are clearly already condemned to elimination and i think that one of these, barring miracles, is Atalanta which is no longer managing to do as well as it once did since it was abandoned by Gasperini, this team lacks identity and is no longer able to obtain useful results

In my opinion both Manchester City and Chelsea difficult to make comeback at second leg match after losing three goals at first leg match, they face the top and difficult team not easily to comeback or winning more than three goals.

the biggest mistake is underestimating manchester city, real madrid's performance is however commendable, and i think it is necessary to do a very hard job to recover the match, the comeback is always possible, until the referee blows the final whistle it cannot be said that they cannot do it, so they must be careful to underestimate them.

Their game against Galatasaray is still very open, so anything can happen, let's not just rule anything out.

Liverpool fans are feeling too confident about the fact that they can win the second game but the reality is that even if they somehow get a win there, it doesn't mean they look good. Next game they are going to probably face PSG and I do not think that it would be a good situation for them on the long run.

I think that we are going to see this be a bit different and I think it will not be the same. If this could be the situation to change, then we are going to see things be a lot different and for that reason along I believe that we are going to see them have a lot more trouble on the long run. Liverpool can't just rely on their good squad and hope to do well, I think Galatasaray may still beat them but even if Liverpool wins, there is no room for them to move on.

this is a challenge where a prediction is always a very difficult thing to do, and i understand that it must be very difficult to face a team that has already scored 3 goals, but i also think that these teams are very strong and hungry so anything can really happen in this match, they certainly won't hold back

Most people were expecting Manchester City to take early control and win, but Real Madrid stunned them with their impressive win, and there were no replies from Manchester City due to the good strategy of Real Madrid.

A deficit of 3 goals is always achievable, but it's never been easy, especially when playing against Real Madrid. Juventus has done a good job but sadly failed to qualify here. Manchester City is a better side than the Old Lady, but their recent performance in all competitions is questionable. If they fail to produce, good things could be gone on the lowest level this season, which is not good for them.

I'm seeing Chelsea and City have zero chance too same as Tottenham. To be fair, those clubs are strong at home, but the aggregate is too damn big to overcome. They have to score at very least three goals without even conceding once in order to get a tie in term of aggregate.
So, i can start to imagine PSG and Madrid to use parking bus strategy, which make those two EPL clubs struggle to win. It's likely that scenario is gonna happen soon. I'm getting fueled with lots of negativity after underperform performance showed by them at the first half.

A miracle can come, but it won't happen many times.

Tomorrow the quarter finalist teams should be like: Bodø/Glimt, PSG, Real Madrid and Arsenal.

Playing against English teams as the away side is always difficult. There are many examples of it including Newcastle's being so close to beating Barcelona in the 1st leg.

I think none of them will lose tomorrow. But it looks so difficult for Chelsea and Manchester City to advance to next stage...

Totally agree with you, the damage was done in the first leg and teams that have a leg already in the next stage will not want to lose this opportunity after a hard fought battle and the casualties in this round will unfortunately be EPL teams who are known to hold high football standards and expectations but this will be going to Spain and Germany team's to show what they are made of..

Well, it seems impossible for Atalanta to overcome the 5-goal deficit from the first leg. Atalanta might as well just enjoy the second leg. They can salvage their pride by avoiding another loss in the second leg, even though they’ve no chance of advancing. unless a miracle happens, of course. But it seems that scoring 5 goals is something Atalanta simply can’t realistically hope to achieve given their current team condition.

Bayern Munich also seems likely to play without prioritizing the second leg. They might start fielding their second-string players and rest their first-team squad.

The fact is that I am not even looking at any of the four teams to make a comeback. Starting from Manchester down to Chelsea, I am not expecting any miracle from them because the teams they are playing against are not bad,they are in great form, and that is the reason they have scored so many goals.I know about home advantage, but to be honest, home advantage hardly works these days. This was how people were talking last season when Arsenal played their first leg and beat Real Madrid. Many people were saying that Real Madrid would surely come back, but the story at the end of the day was different, as Arsenal was able to beat them again in the away game.

So, let's have it in mind that those teams that conceded many goals will hardly make a comeback and qualify for the next round. It is very possible for them to win, but that big comeback is what I don't think will happen.The only team I have hope for now is Liverpool, and even they have to be careful; otherwise, Galatasaray may escape because their aim now is to defend the one goal advantage. Recently, Liverpool attackers have not been as active as they were in those seasons. Liverpool will need extra effort to win the game and get the chance to qualify for the next round.

Because it's really like they just can't be more consistent. They just make you feel like they are better for a short time period. But then the loop goes on...

Probably they are focused on the CL the most now considering some rotation they did in that match. We will see how dominant they will be against Galatasaray 2 days later.

I think hopes are over for Sporting CP because I don’t believe they can beat Bodø Glimt by four goals.
Bodø Glimt will reach the quarter final for the first time in their history and they will never waste this opportunity.

For me hope isn't over for sporting even though the odd are against considering the goals they conceded against bodo glimt. The reason I think so is because in the world of football, surprises are endless. However bodoglimt shown good performance against sporting cp during the first leg and their performance in the champions league ha been superb that's why they will likely win in the second leg but because they have the advantage doesn't mean they should underestimate sporting cp. I think they should play against sporting cp exactly the way they did in the first leg and they shouldn't concede goals in the match.

It will be much more difficult for Manchester City to score three goals and not concede in the second leg, considering Real Madrid's improved performance despite the loss of several key players. It would be different if they were facing another team and perhaps Manchester City could have a chance to stage a comeback, but they are facing a team with a much better mentality and experience in the Champions League, making it almost impossible for Manchester City to advance to the next round.

This is my argument too. This is three solid goals we are talking here. If it was a goal or two, it would have been easier to score 3 goals and get an advantage over them. But when it is about three goals difference, it makes it more difficult. It will be simply difficult for Manchester City to firstly equalize with three goals and add an additional goal extra to make it four. If they had scored a goal or two in the last encounter, it would also come easier for them. Real Madrid is not some random clubs you can brutalize with goals even when you are playing with a home advantage. So there is so much do be done if they want to win this game which will be simply beyond a normal outing. They will require a very solid amount of effort to pull this.

I also like it when the games are back-to-back; it keeps the competition going. I agree that playing away against English teams is always complicated because of the intensity and the pressure from the fans.

But even so, in knockout matches you can never be absolutely certain. Sometimes an early goal or a mistake completely changes the game. It will be interesting to see if anyone manages to pull off a surprise tomorrow.

For Liverpool right now the only way to save the season is to perform as well as possible in the Champions League, and the match with Galatasaray can currently be considered one of their most important games. But on the other hand, Tottenham look very weak right now, and Liverpool need to climb into the top 4 to secure a place in the Champions League next season. So despite the Champions League match, I think they were still obliged to beat Tottenham.

On paper, Man City will have a hard time making a comeback in the second leg because they need to score 4 goals to ensure their progress to the quarter-finals or at least score 3 goals without conceding to force Real Madrid to play extra time. But in football anything can still happen like when Barcelona eliminated PSG after an epic comeback that happened in 2017, Barcelona lost 0-4 in the first leg and managed to turn things around when playing at Camp Nou 6-1 (aggregate 6-5). I'm not too sure Man City can repeat Barcelona's story, but if they put in a great performance at the Etihad Stadium and manage to score two goals without conceding in the first half, then their chances of a comeback are very high.

Tottenham have certainly not been at their best this season, but they have also created chances throughout the game.
Liverpool were certainly luckier in that match considering Tottenham played well and created several dangerous chances, I mean Liverpool only conceded a goal in the final minutes which forced both sides to draw. Liverpool's form has not been great lately and I'm not confident enough to say they'll easily qualify for the next round by beating Galatasaray, but let's see what happens.

In the second leg, there are several interesting matches that we should not miss. The Manchester City vs Real Madrid match is one that is worth waiting for and this is an open match for Manchester City with a big mission at home. Manchester City will need to be more energetic and energetic from the first half if they are to progress to the next round, especially after trailing 3-0 in the first leg at the Bernabeu.
