It was an incredible match for Sporting CP. The game ended 3–0 in regular time, taking it to extra time, where they scored two more goals and became the first team to book their place in the quarter finals.

It was a disappointing night for Bodø Glimt. They had a huge advantage going into the match for a quarter final spot, but they couldn’t hold onto it. They were close to reaching the quarter finals for the first time in their history, but this defeat led to their elimination.

Still, reaching the Round of 16 is a big achievement for them. I honestly didn’t expect them to be eliminated, but they ended up losing.

What happened, I really didn't watch this match and honestly I was shocked after seeing the score now.
Sporting managed to force Glimpt into extra time by making the aggregate 3-3 in normal time, so this was truly the hottest drama that came in the second leg. The current score is 4-0 in favor of Sporting and I think this will end with Sporting coming out as the winner of the ticket to the next round.

You guessed right. 5-0 , that's the final score for the leg 2, after an outstanding aggregate of 0-3. It's jaw-dropping, the things that happen in the game of soccer sometimes. Sporting came in with full force and dominated the game, took advantage of the every opportunity and scored plenty of goals. They knew they needed to score goals to amend their mistakes. I'm also surprised that Bodø/Glimt played so loosely, unlike them with an unbeaten record.

In the other match, PSG rampaged even further, punishing Chelsea with a further goal, making the aggregate score 2-6. Chelsea were clearly in a deeper slump, while PSG were gaining the upper hand and looking increasingly comfortable in anticipation of victory.

I already knew Chelsea doesn't have that balance to control and create chances against a Enrique's defensive pattern.

Are Chelsea really the World Champions? Because this game against PSG is not what I expected from Chelsea, and I just couldn't stand to watch the game. I don't see any comeback in this game for Chelsea with a 5 goals difference now, not even a good play from them for a win.

What are your opinion for this match and what could be the result in this game?

The result has already been decided because there is now way Chelsea will score six goals now to get a comeback. They can’t even score five goals for us to go into the extra time in this game, so I think this should be the end of Chelsea’s journey in this champions league. They should after now focus more on the premier league because if they don’t finish in the top four, we won’t see them getting to play in the champions league next season which is not really ideal to befits a world champion.

Arsenal is the only English team that isn’t getting eliminated tonight, the rest of them is showing finding their way out tonight. Arsenal didn’t lose their first leg, were able to manage and get a draw, Chelsea lost and Manchester City lost yet here they are struggling to get goals. At the very least, Chelsea is off while, Manchester City might still get a fight chance but, with just 10 men against Real Madrid, it’s very unlikely they might even win tonight.

Manchester City even with 10 men are looking to be dominating the game. They have had two goals cancelled so far which shows how their tenacity in this game has been. With few minutes left to the end of the game, I am not sure they can get a comeback now. They’ve really shown a great performance even with 10 men on the field. Chelsea’s journey has come to an end tonight, they’re not playing to win again.

Chelsea has got to be one of the worst teams in England. The manager removed most of his best, Pedro and Palmer because he knew there was absolutely nothing left in the game for Chelsea. You don’t come to a return leg and you’re quickly down by 3 goals with that being over 2:8 on aggregate. Sanchez couldn’t save any shot that is put on target. Just direct the ball towards him and it’s in.

Sporting CP has expelled Bodø and the fairytale of the Norwegian side is finally over, from a 3 - 0 win at home in the first leg to losing 5 - 0 AET away from home, Sporting fans will be feeling so fly right now and I totally understand your team losing 3 - 0 after first leg and making a comeback in the second leg, they have every right to be happy this night. It will be a blow to Bodø but they should understand that this is the champions league and in this competition, no fairytale end. I can't remember the last time a low budget team last won the competition, so I totally understand how the competition is. I learnt that Arsenal has scored from a corner again as they lead Bayern Leverkusen.

With the impressive runs Bodø/Glimt have had in the Champions League, and after they won Sporting CP 3-0 on their home ground, Sporting CP chances of making it to the next round of the Champions League were slim but since they were able to overcome Bodø/Glimt and made it to the quarter final, Sporting CP fans will be happy with the performance of their club because they never expected their club to win Bodø/Glimt by 5-0 margin.

How are you even going to expect Chelsea to win a match like this? Since the first leg was played, and I saw the amount of goals which Chelsea  conceded in the leg, then I knew they going to lose even the second leg of the match. Right now PSG are revenging for what Chelsea did to the during the club World Cup, and they are really revenging so well because right now Chelsea are just humiliated, they were humiliated in the first leg, and the humiliation continues even in the second leg. Chelsea performance has dropped drastically, and I don’t even know who we are to blame for their  current performance.

This Velverde is a really funny guy, after Vini played the shit and was blocked by Donnarumma, he Velverde played to score and Donnarumma saved it again while on the rebound he decided to funny it off with a real shot and he scored,yeah Vini was offside initially so it wouldn't have counted anyways but that situation was just funny to me. Good game from both team because I really enjoyed the match to the fullest, hope to still have this same feeling tomorrow when I will pick a game to watch as well.

It is now clear that luck is not on the side of Arsenal, at least this first half else the match is supposed to be lowest 3 0  and not just the one goal lead. So many goals have been missed by Arsenal and the coach of Bayern Leverkusen have been exceptional in saving goal chances. If not that the goal from.Eberechi Eze is just impossible to save, the keeper would have still stopped it. From second half, I expect Arsenal work on converting more of their chances to avoid any surprises in this match because this is a must win match for them.

You can say that Arsenal is lucky to score and win Bayern Leverkusen but what i watched is pure professionalism from Arsenal players, they were not eager to score because they don't want to make mistakes by being too forward and create some loopholes for Bayern Leverkusen to take advantage. Among all the English teams that played at the UCL, Arsenal is impeccable. I hope they make it to the finals this time because i wouldn't be happy if they repeat what they did last season after an awesome performance. Truth be told, Arsenal deserves to reach the finals even if they don't win it.

PSG were very powerful at Stamford Bridge, beating the home team with 0-3, while Real Madrid were very stable at the Etihad and they were very solid in defense. Arsenal also won at home 2-0 - so they also deserved their place in the quarter-finals.

Statistically, City has a slight advantage, and in any case, it doesn’t matter, since it was clear from the start that City would take a risk and play the “game of the season,” while for Real it would be an ordinary Tuesday  
Incidentally, it looks like Real Madrid is winning this game after all, as the score is 2-1 in Real's favor with just a few minutes left. Vinnie scored twice.
So Real Madrid has destroyed City in the playoffs again, and I can't even remember how many times this has happened in recent years. And Pep has lost both the Premier League and the Champions League in the space of a week.

The early red card that were given to Bernardo Silva really impacted this game and made things difficult to Manchester City. I Will Even commend Manchester City for the way that they had been able to maintain this game and tried back to score a all important goal in this game to level up in the first half of this game.


Vinicius Jr has won the game for Madrid as he has scored a late winning goal against Manchester City away from home. From what I have been able to see Madrid play out they they are beginning to gel as a club. I like the way that they have been able to play they are playing a more cooperative game than individual play. Madrid should use this form to approach the laliga title race.

It's unbelievable how Manchester City managed to get knocked out by Real Madrid. At first, the Citizens were definitely the favorites, but you can't win every year, and you can't play this football.
I expected Arsenal to win easily, while I would have expected more from Chelsea. They showed great game in the league after the managerial change it is a shame they went out in such a humiliating match.
Best compliment to Sporting for their excellent and dominant qualification. Bodo didn’t take the field I wonder why, after that great first leg in Norway.

Bernardo let the Manchester City players and fans down with his decision to handle the ball with his hand. He would have let the ball enter the net than handling the ball with his hand, thereby making his team mates suffer and labor more than they were supposed to. City would have had better chance of fighting to qualify with their complete players on the pitch than playing with a player down against a Madrid side. Bernardo know he messed up and he need to apologize to the fans and his teammates.

I'm very satisfied tonight because Real Madrid managed to win the match against Manchester City with a score of 2-1.
 
The ridiculous thing here is Bernardo Silva, and he deserves a red card, the handball he did was very deliberate when covering the ball into their goal, which he should not have done, and just shifted his body if he wanted to block the ball, but instead extended his hand, this situation made Real Madrid more profitable against 10 players from the first half.

Honestly, Chelsea performance is actually poor. PSG won them at home, and now they played at home instead of putting effort to win the match, even if they did not meet up Chelsea couldn’t do anything, but ended up in loosing this match, with 3:0. They couldn’t score any single goal in this match, this is really poor and I’m ashamed of them.

PSG in the other hand, their performance is something we should look into because with the way this team played Chelsea, it’s just as if they are even angry at them because they didn’t misuse every single opportunity given to them, both first leg and second leg.

Out of the 4 games of tonight, we had only one unexpected outcome: Bodo/Glimt got eliminated despite their 3-0 advantage from the 1st leg. Sporting managed to score 3 at home in the regular time and added two more in overtime, and they are through to the next round and will face Arsenal in the quarterfinal.
The Cinderella story won't happen for Bodo, but they should still be happy they made it this far.

Man City Vs Real looked promising, but we all knew it's all over after the red card for Bernardo Silva in the 20th minute for a handball on the goal line. Was the referee's decision too harsh? I don't know. I think yellow would suffice as the hand (or elbow) movement was more instinctive rather than deliberate. If not for that red card, we could've had a completely different game.
At least Haaland managed to score one, as his scoring stats haven't been the best recently.

First of all, massive congratulations to Sporting CP for beating goalless Bodo Glimt at home. Sporting CP is the best team today. The worst thing Bodo Glimt did was to start defending from the first half instead of playing the game the way they did during the first leg.

In addition, Arsenal got a 2:0 victory at the Emirates against goalless Bayern Leverkusen. And Vinicius had to score twice to finish what they started after Bernaba. As predicted, both Manchester City and Chelsea have exited the competition.
