I'm very satisfied tonight because Real Madrid managed to win the match against Manchester City with a score of 2-1.
 
The ridiculous thing here is Bernardo Silva, and he deserves a red card, the handball he did was very deliberate when covering the ball into their goal, which he should not have done, and just shifted his body if he wanted to block the ball, but instead extended his hand, this situation made Real Madrid more profitable against 10 players from the first half.

Bernando Silva should have let the goal and still give city a big chance with 11 men. It was too reckless and early to take a red card like that when as a professional you know that the handball will be checked.
Also I think the removal of Halaand was Pep way of giving up on the game, Manchester city had a better chance to score with Him around.

It is now clear that luck is not on the side of Arsenal, at least this first half else the match is supposed to be lowest 3 0  and not just the one goal lead. So many goals have been missed by Arsenal and the coach of Bayern Leverkusen have been exceptional in saving goal chances. If not that the goal from.Eberechi Eze is just impossible to save, the keeper would have still stopped it. From second half, I expect Arsenal work on converting more of their chances to avoid any surprises in this match because this is a must win match for them.

You can say that Arsenal is lucky to score and win Bayern Leverkusen but what i watched is pure professionalism from Arsenal players, they were not eager to score because they don't want to make mistakes by being too forward and create some loopholes for Bayern Leverkusen to take advantage. Among all the English teams that played at the UCL, Arsenal is impeccable. I hope they make it to the finals this time because i wouldn't be happy if they repeat what they did last season after an awesome performance. Truth be told, Arsenal deserves to reach the finals even if they don't win it.

Eze's performance was five-star to me. I see that he is becoming more comfortable in the midfield of Arsenal; his play has improved. That goal was super important for us because it cooled some nerves. Ben White also did well coming in from Timber and ensuring Leverkusen could not make him the weak link in defense.

Safe to say Arsenal saved English teams from shame today.

Today, Sporting Lisbon, Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain, and Real Madrid advanced to the next round. Perhaps the game's balance could have shifted if Manchester City hadn't received an early red card, but the early red card and penalty changed everything. Real Madrid then played a more relaxed game, not pushing themselves too hard because they have an upcoming match against Atletico Madrid and want to save themselves for that. Sporting, on the other hand, made a legendary comeback. Bodo was eliminated, but they will certainly be one of the teams remembered from this year's tournament.

Are Chelsea really the World Champions? Because this game against PSG is not what I expected from Chelsea, and I just couldn't stand to watch the game. I don't see any comeback in this game for Chelsea with a 5 goals difference now, not even a good play from them for a win.

Another easy win for PSG. Chelsea did not play well  in today's match either. The performance of psg  was very organized. PSG players did not play very aggressively. But they were able to easily find the weakness of chelsea's defense and secured a big victory by 3-0 .

Chelsea is in very bad form. Their performance in the premier league matches has been weak recently. Even then , I expected the match to be competitive today. Anyway , there is no denying that the performance of PSG's goalkeeper and defenders was also outstanding. As a result, despite a lot of effort, chelsea could not score a single goal.

Paris Saint German has taken over possession of the game and it does look like there is no hope for Chelsea football club.

Right from the start of this match, Paris Saint Germain lookwd more promising than Chelsea, because despite Chelsea played at home today their performance isn't impressive honestly it's very poor. if Chelsea play today as they did at Parc des Princes, I'm confident that they would be in a better position because with that performance they are going to control the match, but they didn't and that's why there is nothing to appreciate in their game today.

It’s one of the most stupid  action I can imagine tonight and the fact that it’s coming from a crucial player like Benaldo Silva makes it even more annoying.. ruined tonight’s game tbh. I knew it would be hard for a comeback but atleast,giving it a try with 11 men is better than doing it with 10 men.

It was a split second devision that could have gone either ways. Unfortunately for Silva and Manchester City, Real Madrid had the better of both. It was very unlikely that they were going to have a come back against Real Madrid. Real Madrid has always being such a terror to Manchester City in the champions league and today, they sent them packing once again.

Taking Haaland off was definitely a sign of giving up and with Real Madrid being 3 goals up on aggregate at half time, there isn’t much a 10 men team can do against such a time with that advantage. Best to rest your players in preparation for Arsenal.

With the 10 men Man City used to play Real Madrid, trust me they would have done wonders if they were complete 11. The reason why Haaland was removed was so the pressure would be managed, the defence line needed to be protected, Haaland is one striker that does not come back and defend or come back to look for ball, so PEP understood this and that was why he did that change, for me I believe it made sense because at a point Man City were balance and they even had a lot of goal attempt.

After scoring 2 goals last time and PSG 5 I knew Chelsea cannot stand a chance, ever during the first minutes of the match PSG really showed more effort and their capacity was top. I thought Chelsea might at least score just one goal because they had more shots on target unfortunately not even a goal at home, what a poor performance displayed today I think this is the reason why everyone is disappointed because the team would have used a nice advantage to equalize probably the match would’ve ended with penalty instead Chelsea didn’t show any interest.

From the history of this competition, Chelsea had never conceded eight goals in a two legged tie before until tonight. PSG literally thought Chelsea a bitter lesson, a lesson that won't be forgotten in a hurry by the team. I use to hear them brag about how they outplayed and defeated the best team of last season. They believed they can take out any team that came their way just like that. I think PSG still bore the hurt of the final they lost to Chelsea last year and decided they were going to make them pay when they realised it was Chelsea they were going to meet.

What happened, I really didn't watch this match and honestly I was shocked after seeing the score now.
Sporting managed to force Glimpt into extra time by making the aggregate 3-3 in normal time, so this was truly the hottest drama that came in the second leg. The current score is 4-0 in favor of Sporting and I think this will end with Sporting coming out as the winner of the ticket to the next round.

You guessed right. 5-0 , that's the final score for the leg 2, after an outstanding aggregate of 0-3. It's jaw-dropping, the things that happen in the game of soccer sometimes. Sporting came in with full force and dominated the game, took advantage of the every opportunity and scored plenty of goals. They knew they needed to score goals to amend their mistakes. I'm also surprised that Bodø/Glimt played so loosely, unlike them with an unbeaten record.

In the other match, PSG rampaged even further, punishing Chelsea with a further goal, making the aggregate score 2-6. Chelsea were clearly in a deeper slump, while PSG were gaining the upper hand and looking increasingly comfortable in anticipation of victory.

I already knew Chelsea doesn't have that balance to control and create chances against a Enrique's defensive pattern.

Highly disappointed with the Chelsea football team under this current manager, would I even say that this is the worst Chelsea manager so far having seen Chelsea get so humiliated like this even at home ground, without even scoring a single goal at home ground. I wonder if he will last long in Chelsea with his managerial role.

Eze is now becoming something else in the squad, man keep doing great things. He always try to make sure he’s recognized in every match, he scored the first goal in the 36th minutes of the match, it was actually a great goal, I love eze more when he scored that goal. In the next match they will be playing against Sporting CP. I can’t say anything yet, but my team will do everything to see that they win the match it’s so important to us.

Sporting made the surprise of the day in the early match, but there were no surprises in other games. Arsenal won with 2 goals and once again finished with a clean sheet. They are my favorite in the tournament.
PSG completely dominated Chelsea and scored 3 goals in Stamford Bridge. The nightmare for English teams continues. City threw in the towel early, maybe they would've had a chance if it stayed 11 vs. 11. Now only the best teams remain in the quarter final.

Congratulations to Arsenal for thier well done work and great performances on achieving this victory, Leverkusen were also tried in this match but the match wasn't turnout on thier favour. For the Real Madrid and Manchester City, it was a clear and clean victory for Real Madrid while Manchester City were eliminated, and for the Sporting CP and Bodo Glimt, it was actually a suprised game and unexpected comeback or equalise from Sporting CP in this match against Bodo Glimt, everyone was hoping on Bodo to defeat them again as they did at first leg, and it doesn't workout for them. Well played Sporting CP.

In today's matches,  it was only Chelsea match that annoyed me with thier very poor performances, I was actually expecting the Sporting  CP performances from Chelsea,  hadn't been Chelsea work hardly as the Sporting did against Bodo Glimt, they would have defeated Paris Saint-Germain, but it was hard for them to perform accurately and moreover Chelsea’s losses thier strategies in the match and look confused till the match ends.

It's was a good game for Arsenal that they won I never doubted them in this game at home, I expected them to win and they did. It wasn't as easy as we expected but they were able to win and maintain their unbeaten run in the champions league.

Chelsea were so terrible today, they didn't play as if they were the home the home team at all. I don't know for others but I think Maresca is far better than this new coach. Maresca would have a better job against PSG but I don't know why he was replaced. The score was 0-3 and not 2-0.

City failed to qualify as well but they didn't lose woefully as Chelsea did. It's a surprise that City lost at home but the red card affected them. Although I didn't see any sign of comeback with the way they played.

The best teams won today congratulations to them.

This Velverde is a really funny guy, after Vini played the shit and was blocked by Donnarumma, he Velverde played to score and Donnarumma saved it again while on the rebound he decided to funny it off with a real shot and he scored,yeah Vini was offside initially so it wouldn't have counted anyways but that situation was just funny to me. Good game from both team because I really enjoyed the match to the fullest, hope to still have this same feeling tomorrow when I will pick a game to watch as well.

Velverde is one crazy player that any coach would love to have in his team, he made sure the ball ended at the back of the net which I feel is the best thing to do in case the call was wrong. What else can we say when it comes to Manchester City? They are battling with so much that the manager is even in a confused state. Chasing Arsenal right from the beginning of the season till now, yet they didn't bring them down, as if is not enough... Madrid came and increased their headache, this is too much for Pep and I think this is the first time Pep is struggling to get things right. Well, they are out and the come back many are talking about just happened, City are coming back home, same as Chelsea. The Citizens need to forget all that happened tonight and focus on the next game at hand, which is the Carabao Cup finals against Arsenal, is never going to be easy.

I think Guardiola already knew that they wouldn't qualify for the quarter-finals in the Champions League, which is why Haaland was substituted. given that Manchester City's next game will be against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup, against Liverpool in the FA CUP and will be against Chelsea in the Premier League. so I think Guardiola replaced him to keep Haaland's stamina fit against those three top teams.

That's unbelievable. Chelsea is getting slaughtered by PSG like this. I know it's difficult to accept how they went from CWC winner to the club that played in the low tier league. This is the output from their dumb management with so many stupid decisions and transfer have been. But they don't aware they destroy their own club.
I genuinely sad to watch this club spent 1b, but performed far below what we expected. They got the right manager to handle the squad, but they sacked him. It's where their dark story was started.  It's incredible how fast their management destroyed the club in matter of months.

Unless Blueco is out. I don't think they can bounce back. There are so many problems in the squad that made players feel truly unmotivated almost in everygame. I hope getting knockout from UCL will make them realize, they need to overhaul their management.

An early goal lead for Real Madrid does not justify that they’ll win the game and Manchester City won’t get a comeback. It was very reckless for him to have handed them over the win tonight. Even with 10 men, we were still able to see how strong Manchester City were and how dominated they were throughout the game with two of their goals scored cancelled. It would have been a better and tougher challenge if the game was played with their 10 men all on the field.

Haaland was indeed creating chances at goals but his removal time didn’t meant that he gave up on winning the game, he brought in two strong attackers which I feel were both instrumental throughout the minutes they got to play in the game. This game was not how Manchester City ever wanted it to be, but they’ll learn their mistake going forward in the competition.
