After disappointing results in the other two championships I was a bit doubtful about Arsenal in the match against Sporting because sometimes other match results can affect the confidence of the players, but of course I don't expect that to happen to them in the UCL, they get an opponent who on paper should be easy to beat, but I know that Sporting is not a weak team either, I'm waiting to see how Gyokeres performs against his former team.

They've lost two trophies in consecutive games before and after the finals, could this be a sign that Arsenal could end this season without a trophy? I think I'll join in the doubt about Arsenal being beaten Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League, if they could.be beaten by Southampton in a very important FA Cup match, it seems they're out of form which is an Advantage to Sporting.

After their two big losses, doubts are increasing about their chances for Champions League as well because their biggest issue is injured players they have almost lost 8 to 10 players. This surely sucks badly, but no one can do anything just because of their coach's strategy, which always hurts them at crucial parts of the season.

Sporting is a side that can beat any team on their day, while Arsenal's current form gives them good favour for securing their next spot. The Champions League is always an event where things are unpredictable, but Arsenal is surely facing a bad downturn in morale due to these losses. Can they rebuild themselves? It's going to be challenging for them.

If Real Madrid after beating Manchester City will be able to beat Bayern Munich too then they would (incredibly) become the favorite team to win the Champions League. Bayern Monaco are extremely good, I see them as the favorite team, or at least the best on the left side, which is a very tough one. They are supposed to beat Real Madrid so the pressure will be on the German team.

You never know with Real Madrid, they often find a way to win when they aren’t playing well or favourites. I don’t think this current Real team is good enough though.

Of the remaining teams I think Bayern, PSG and Barca are better than them.

If real madrid could come out victorious in there upcoming champions league game against bayern Munich, i will see that as a miraculous hardwork of the almighty God because the Real Madrid team i see now don't have what it takes to withstand the extraordinary performance of bayern Munich this season.  
In terms of consistency in all competitions now, bayern is considered one of the most consistent team right now while madrid has lost there's,  therefore the result most definitely end in favour of bayern Munich.

Even Real Madrid result yesterday was a big disgrace, how will real Madrid who is in a second position in the table lost against Mallorca that I don't even know there position in the La Liga table, that result had increased the chance of Barcelona winning the La Liga this season because there is no much time to meet up with I guess 7 points I mean it's really much and I don't know if they did that because of the champions league and if that's the reason I hope it is worth it.

Even though Real Madrid have a tough match in the Champions League, they are supposed to win Mallorca and maintain the four point gap with Barcelona and keep their hope alive in the La Liga title race but their shocking defeat at the hands of Mallorca have put them in a tight corner of winning the La Liga title this season, and with eight matches remaining for the La Liga league to end it will be difficult for Real Madrid to challenge for the title, so in other words Barcelona will retain the title this season.

Of course, Arsenal have a better chance of managing the situation and taking the lead. Obviously, the most important thing they have to do is enter the game hard and do some very proactive things in attack. It's clear that Sporting won't give them much space and will be very defensive.

I hope Arsenal wouldn't disappoint everyone who puts their confidence in them because they made me lose my bet twice in their last two games. It might not be a boring match but it's one with plenty of surprises. It's true that Arsenal are heavily favored and many predict they'll easily advance to the semifinals. Arsenal performance from the start has been impressive and they also managed to finish first in the UCL group stage.

However, it's also plausible that Arsenal will lose by a single goal or draw against Sporting Lisbon. Arsenal performance in their last two matches has been very poor, resulting in defeats and eliminations from two different competitions. I mean, Arsenal morale and confidence are very low going into the first leg against Sporting, especially playing in front of their own fans. This will certainly be a tough match for Arsenal to win, especially as Sporting Lisbon is no easy opponent. While Arsenal player quality is superior to Sporting, I believe Sporting Lisbon has been more thoroughly prepared for the first leg of the UCL quarterfinals.

Arbeola and his boys really have to sit up coz they are already getting too relaxed for my liking... If they continue like this they would be going home with nothing this season...Even up till now I just can't understand why they would lose to a team like Mallorca...Their loss has made Barcelona to further extend their lead to a 7 point difference, and I don't see Madrid catching up to that since they just have limited La Liga matches to play... They will be facing Bayern next tomorrow, well  I don't really know what to even say about them seeing how they got defeated by a team that isn't supposed to be a match for them...Bayern Munich is a very tough opponent and for Madrid to secure there victory over them, they really have to play with all they got...

Let's not forget that it's this same Arsenal that lost recently to Southampton in the lower division of the England Leagues, I know we can't compare it to the Champions League but that match showed a lot of problem facing this Arsenal team and am sure any good team can exploit it like Pep and Southampton did, the question is whether Sporting has that same knowledge to do likewise.

I think it's a great match-up. Both games should be entertaining. Sporting will probably play more aggressively in first leg at home. Arsenal will be more cautious to avoid mistakes. Sporting score a lot lately. Suarez, Goncalves and Trincao are all in great form. Sporting are definitely a tougher opponent than Leverkusen. Arsenal avoid playing with bigger teams in quarter final, but Sporting shouldn't be underestimated.

Sporting reaching that Quarter-final means a lot. They were classed 7 in the group ranking better than Manchester City, Real Madrid, Inter Milan and PSG. They trashed Bodo/Glimt badly and certainly they will try their best against Arsenal.
I used to believe gunners will win easily any game but I don't recognise that team anymore over the rounds. Their latest defeat against Southampton in FA Cup made me think twice before supporting them here. Luckily there are two legs so if they failed in the first leg, they have another match to fix issues..

Why are you being baised, Bayern Munich are the better side between these both club you have mentioned. The best they can go home with should be sharing the points. Downgrade Arsenal all you like because of the outcomes they have had for the last two weeks and they will leave you surprised with the both games. Not only that, their mainstay defenders such as Saliba and Gabriel may not be able to play for this match due to injuries and this could make the situation reversed when the luck of probability is not appropriate just because a lot of core players are absent in the match later.
This is clearly a test for Arsenal in the first leg and continues towards the end of the season and usually if you reflect on past seasons their performance is always hampered when this situation comes hopefully for this season it is not like that.

Arsenal's momentum is still very strong now especially in the Champions League but we must also prepare for the worst especially since this competition is always full of surprises that we never expected before.

Seeing how badly Arsenal has performed in their last FA Cup match, will you still put your confidence in Arsenal for a match win against Sporting in the Champions League? I guess no. It's kind of hard to predict this match, if it was the arsenal of feew weeks or months ago, it would have been so easy to predict, which is arsenal for a win

The game is just less than 24 hours from now and I know this is the time players will be warming up against the competition ahead. The leadership of both teams are supposed to be under pressure now sort off because one way or the other the expectations and the stakes will be high on them for now due to the importance of this Quarterfinals. No team who has come this far will want to quit easily especially when they have work hard to this point. But there are no emotions here. What will work for both teams is to never give up.

Sporting CP will surprise Arsenal, Bournemouth will surprise Arsenal also. What Arsenal will face in the next two month will not be a new thing. I have seen this movie several time. Last year, Arsenal was eliminated from the semi-final of the champions league, the year before last, it was at the quarter-final. Arsenal has not made it to the final since they started bottling the league. This season, Arsenals has already shown the world they are taking the same footstep. I'm not really sure about the outcome of the game between sporting cp and arsenal but from the looks of it sporting might have more chances of winning due to how arsenal has been performing recently, they haven't been in a good form and sporting can actually take advantage of that. I cannot really say that arsenal would last long in the champions league at this point, their main aim now is just winning the premier league title and even that is getting kind of shaky now
