I have a feeling Real will win tonight, narrowly. Overall I make Bayern favourites to make the semi finals but I think Real will win the 1st leg.

Sporting vs Arsenal will be closer than most people think. Arsenal have started to slip up a little bit, this will be a draw I think.

Due to Real Madrid's dominance in UEFA Champions League and their head-to-head stats clearly showing Real Madrid has a better chance of winning this game at home, I am putting money on them because they always oblige punters with good odds.

Arsenal vs. Sporting is also going to be interesting, but most likely Arsenal will have the edge because Sporting is also facing injury issues, and Arsenal is also looking for a comeback after having 2 big defeats in local cups. A draw could also be decent for the Gunners, but still they want to win; this could give them a good boost and increase their confidence for coming games.

This could be the match of the season because I personally consider three teams hot favourites for the title in the current season Bayern Munich, Arsenal, and Real Madrid. The winner from this game could have a good chance of winning the title this season. Currently, Bayern Munich is at its best.

I agree with you on one thing and that is Real Madrid is different when they play for the Champions League competition. Today has so many exciting match but for me Barcelona vs Atlatico is more important because I just love to see how Barcelona would play against Atlatico Madrid. This season Barcelona only lose one match against Atlatico Madrid in Copa Del Rey and even their last pulldown was also good but unfortunately Atlatico Madrid couldn't keep it dran and eventually Barcelona won it with 2-1. Atlatico Madrid will also try to took their last meeting revenge but I hope Barcelona will not let them to win.....

There's absolutely no way you can talk of a match today without involving the previous matches between those 2 teams before unless if the 2 teams are meeting themselves for the very first time in history that's when you wouldn't see much comparison between both of them. I have checked the starting IX of both teams and it seems the match is very much balanced with fire finishers.

Real Madrid has Lunin on the list instead of Courtious and I am not aware that Real Madrid's number 1 goal stopper is not available. He has thigh injury. Even with that, we don’t get to take Real Madrid for a joke in the champions league. They’ve surely got what it takes to go on Bayern in a head to head and at the very least, they are playing this first leg at home and that’s one place they wouldn’t want to lose, coupled with the first leg advantage. They would want to have that and look to defend it in the second leg. I don’t doubt Bayern Munich would look not to let them have that but, Bayern Munich’s finish doesn’t look so sharp without Harry Kane due to his ankle injury.
