Arsenal is always difficult to defeat when they played at Emirates. I think it's unlikely they're gonna lose against Sporting when they have no burden caused by they have one goal leeds. I won't be surprised if Arsenal will do a parking bus to keep their lead entire game. We have seen it many times when Arteta was not sure about his squad, he ordered his lads to play a parking bus football. It's what we will see in the 2nd leg against Sporting.

Yeah obviously when it's come to home ground Arsenal always stay strong at their hometown. Against Sporting I don't think that they can drop their confidence or lose the match because this season Arsenal are super brilliant, whether it's in league competition or in UEFA champions league competition. You cannot still be so sure that Arsenal can perform like this, that is go on to win Sporting at the emirates. Arsenal are not in the best place mentally at the moment, they have been losing games and have recently also lost at the emirates, they can loose again if Sporting are able to apply the right amount of pressure.

Sporting is not the hardest team to face for gunners and I am really doubting about them for qualification.. The results of Arsenal are poor lately. We fail to recognise the team that dominated Premier League and UEFA Champions League since the beginning. I think they could qualify but my support for them is not absolute.

As for Barcelona, I still see them as capable of winning Atletico Madrid even though they are the team behind on goals.

I am aware that Barcelona could knock Atletico Madrid as usual by many goals but this time I have feelings that ATM will resist after their defeat in La Liga. They are preparing themselves for that match. They might lose of course but I feel they will qualify.

Arsenal stands a good and better chance in this game than Sporting. Their advantage in the first leg will be very easy for them to also get a swift win in this second leg game. I have been impressed so far by what Arsenal is showcasing haven seen how far they’ve come, they can only or may not win the title if they make it to the finals and not lucky or football happens and they get eliminated from the competition when we least expect it.

Arsenal have been courageous so far and I like their enthusiasm for the title, both in the champions league and the premier league. All I see here is an Arsenal team that will make it to the semifinals and then maybe of meeting Atletico Madrid, they can find their way to the finals or if they meet Barcelona, they might fight it out and get a chance also to make it to the finals which will be way harder than that of them facing Atletico Madrid for the title.

Arsenal lost their last three games against Southampton, yet the ended up beating Sporting away from home in the Champions League. So even if Sporting learn from their last defeat against Bournemouth, I don’t think Arsenal will lose in the Champions League at home. Sporting has the opportunity to win the first leg at home, but they missed a lot of opportunities to make use of the chances, the second leg might be difficult for them at Emirates.

You would have expected Sporting to win Arsenal followed by the analysis you made above but it was not a determining factor though if you were to ask me, I will say I was not impressed whatsoever by the performance of Arsenal in the match because I was expecting more than I saw from them especially as the club leading the domestic league at the top level but sometimes all of those do not guarantee any success but the advantage the Arsenal players currently have over sporting is the home advantage which they can use to leverage over the other team which are already answered defeat from the first leg as hosts.

Coming back from a 2-0 behind isn't impossible, especially if we consider a round that could go to extra time and penalties. Barcelona need to fight until the very end. We don't know what will happen in the second leg. Maybe Atletico will get a red card this time. Maybe there'll be an early penalty or an early goal for Barcelona. This is not a hopeless scoreline. Atletico are the favorite for the round now but I have no doubt that Barca will fight until the end.

I agree with you mate. As long as the game of football is concern, nothing is impossible. We have seen teams comes back from a more worse scoreline than this 2-0 down, so even though it seems like a very difficult game and like a huge mountain to climb for Barcelona, it's not an impossible task to carry out, but I will never put my money on Barcelona to progress to the semi final , since their chances of doing so is just too slime.

The game will definitely be an interesting game of football I will be looking up to, but I don't expect atletico madrid to throw this opportunity away. I personally prefer to bet on the Liverpool vs PSG match tonight by choosing PSG as the winner. I’m confident PSG can eliminate Liverpool who seem to be experiencing a dip in form lately as they suffered a crushing defeat against Manchester City in the FA Cup. And they then lost by a fairly lopsided score when they faced PSG in the first leg recently or even when they faced Brighton despite dominating possession. But they didn’t create many clear-cut chances compared to Brighton. And those factors are what make me even more certain that Liverpool will lose in the upcoming match against PSG.

First we have to understand that nothing is impossible in a match and also this match is very important so the situation is different from LaLiga matches so Barcelona chances of winning today are still very possible, but if the question is whether Barcelona can turn things around by scoring lots of goals of course we really don't know. I heard from several sources today that Atletico Madrid will play defensively at least until their position remains safe in the aggregate but if in the end they concede 2 goals then they will play openly and fight to the death. It will be really interesting to see especially how Barcelona will get through this situation.

Arsenal actually have bad form in Premier League and feel bigger pressure from Manchester City after their latest defeat in a match with Bournemouth and the important win of Manchester City against Chelsea. It's their risk of losing a first position to Manchester City and lose a title again to this competitor like what happened in 2022 - 2023, and 2023 - 2024 seasons.

This difficulty of Barcelona is because Atlético Madrid have very opposite tactics against the favorite attacking tactics of Barcelona and Atlético Madrid can constrain Barcelona very well if they play a good match in tactical defense. Atlético Madrid also have very dangerous counter attacks and with their good attacking players in this season as well as for this quarter final, they will put Barcelona's goalkeeper and defensive players at very high alarming rate during the match.

Any defensive mistake by Barcelona will be exploited by Atlético Madrid and any conceded goals in this match will put Barcelona more nearly to an aggregated defeat.

There’s no beating around the bush here, Arsenal will beat Sporting. Sporting is not the team that’s expected to give Arsenal the heat that will take them out of the Champions League. Sporting strongest hold is their home ground and Arsenal already beat them there in the first leg. When Bodo/Glimt were dealing with everyone including Sporting at away, it was at home that Sporting were able to knock them out. So having lost at their own home, there is nothing they can do again. If it were to be a club like PSG or Bayern Munich, I would have agreed that Arsenal might be on the brink of being knocked out. Arsenal for the win take it anywhere, Arsenal will qualify to the next round.
