It looks like this is the end for Liverpool. It's Anfield, okay. But will they really be able to eliminate last season's champion? I don't think so. PSG are one of top contenders with their impressive effort lately.

I'm not feeling good things about Liverpool I'm afraid. Anfield has a wonderful atmosphere, that's for certain! But I don't think their squad is capable of eliminating one of the biggest title favourites and the last champion.

I think the tonight scenarios will be a bit different. Like Barcelona, they are in inense push to made a comeback as soon as possible. Despite Atlatico Madrid will try to defend hard like to keep the scores board the same. So in this situation we can't determine whether match will be on sided and balanced or blah blah blah. Here we have probabilities, like if Barcelona too the lead in earlier minutes then probably there is high chance for comeback but if they don't till halftime, then I think it chance for draw. But anyway let's see what happens.

Besides that if we talked about the Liverpool vs PSG match then definitely it also have the same situation as Barcelona and Atlatico like PSG are 2 nill up and Liverpool will push for comeback. But their situation sounds different, like Liverpool are not even that strong to made a comeback.

If Hansi Flick actually want to complete a comeback against Atletico Madrid today, he'll have to change his tactics. If Barcelona plays their regular high line, they'll be inviting the home side to score goals which will reduce their chances of going through. They need to score more than 2 goals and concede no goal to succeed in their mission.

For Liverpool game today, I honestly don't think they stand any chance, regardless of any formation Arne Slot decides to go with. I'll like to be proven wrong at the end but that looks almost difficult

imo Simeone deserves every bit of the respect shown to Klopp. what they’ve managed to achieve and what they’ve fallen just short of is pretty much the same. from the finals they’ve played to the way they stabilize and design their teams with a long term vision, they are very parallel.

You are understanding the draw at this stage as if you are looking at the draw in this entire quarter final. If you are looking at this stage, Atletico Madrid has put pressure by scoring 2 goals in the first stage and if Barcelona also scores 2 goals in this stage, it will be quite interesting. This is very important for their team and they work hard for it and are successful. I also understand this and I understand this in the Barcelona match because the conditions of both are the same. Their performance in the Liverpool match is not strong enough to beat PSG. If they work hard for it and are successful in the final, it means that they were capable of it although I do not understand any team in this way. Although in the Barcelona and Atletico Madrid competition. Whoever goes forward will go through their own efforts and struggle although their strength and being at the top is one side.

I agree with you when you said champions league is always different. You would have expected Sporting to win Arsenal followed by the analysis you made above but it was not a determining factor though if you were to ask me, I will say I was not impressed whatsoever by the performance of Arsenal in the match because I was expecting more than I saw from them especially as the club leading the domestic league at the top level but sometimes all of those do not guarantee any success but the advantage the Arsenal players currently have over sporting is the home advantage which they can use to leverage over the other team which are already answered defeat from the first leg as hosts.

Personally, it's a very simple answer, football is made up of 11 Vs 11 players and you don't tell a coach how many people you want him to use in marking you. I think Simeone will play a defense game and I even saw an edited image here in this thread where Atletico Madrid players were using bricks to cover their post. I think he will go defensive and try to hit Barcelona on the counter. Flick cannot play without high line and Atletico will be banking on that. Barcelona on the other hand will be determined not to have a repeat of what happened to them in the Copa Del Rey semi final.

I just don't want to see more shocking results again. I want to believe that all the conclusions that were drawn from last week's results, should be enough to take all games to the next round. I aren't expecting a comeback from Real Madrid at all because of how good Bayern has being. Barce on the other hand might want to do the unthinkable, but let's watch out for another edition of Simeone's crazy defensive tactics.

As for Liverpool, well the lineup is not that convincing, so I don't expect much from them. But a decent fight is not bad after all, since they are playing at home. Lamine Yamal is known for his controversial statements when his team is in difficulty and i will say that i like his level of confidence even if what he says doesn't happen. However, the match is active right now and Lamine Yamal has already scored in just 4 minutes, it's a good impression for Barcelona and it seems Diego Simeone will make same mistake he made at the Copa del Rey were they played defensive and Barcelona used it against them. Barcelona are already leading the game by one goal. It was a very fast one as they took and early lead in the game after losing by two goals in the first leg. With this morale they’ve started the game with, I won’t be surprised to see more goals from them and to also see them qualify for the next round of the competition.

PSG have really outplayed Liverpool and I also do not thing they can stand a chance in today’s game regardless of their formation and how they play. The form that Liverpool are currently on now does not even give them the chance to stand a very good shot for the semifinals, I think their journey will end here today.

Barca has come back in this second leg to murder Atletico Madrid. 0-2 within 24 minutes and more to come from them. I know Barca will do almost everything to win and proceed in this cup.
