Worst possible game from all draws, I would have enjoyed a Bodo versus Bayer game more than this one.
There is nothing spectacular left in Arsenal gameplay, and there was not that much in Atletico either. I kind of hope for someone to break the expectations for at least one match and with two gone, all hope is on Lisbon. But on the same page, god a PSG versus Sporting final would make me simply not watch it.

Are you sure that Gracia didn't sell out the game because he committed exactly, the same offense in the first and second leg which penalty was a red card. It shows that he wasn't remorse in his actions in the first leg. Barcelona played beautifully but what matters is scoring goals. The Champions League is moving to a different direction as predicted in the semifinals.

The red card in question came in almost towards the end of the game. Atletico was quite lucky their defense tactics worked out despite Barcelona's effort to get back into the game. Someone expected same tactic he used in the first leg to work out perfectly but almost met his exit from the champions league if not for the first leg advantage. If Barcelona were that serious they would have scored in the opening of the second half to balance things but failed to and ended up being pressured which resulted in a red card in the 79' almost when the game was gradually coming to an end

You're really funny  but you're actually right it's by far the worse fixture so far. I can imagine how the game would be like 
It would have be more fun if Barcelona made it to the semi final instead, the game with Arsenal vs Barcelona would be crazily interesting but Barcelona disappointed and denied us that fixture. For the semi final I think everyone will be more interested in the PSG vs Bayern/ Madrid game instead of Arsenal vs Atletico Madrid game... The game would be super defensive.

I don't think Arsenal will be looking to Sporting so I guess the final would be against PSG/Bayern vs Arsenal/Atletico Madrid. Bayern vs Arsenal is my most probable prediction for the finalists.

They just got lucky not to lose. They lost a two goal lead in just about 25 minutes of the game and you think they won't let Barcelona beat them. The only advantage was the fact that Atletico was the home team but that still doesn't stop anything. They were just lucky and the red card made it worse for Barcelona.

Athletico Madrid were lucky yesterday and thanks to the first leg victory that gave them the advantage. Barcelona threw everything at them but Athletico Madrid stood firmly to protect their early advantage. I was confident in Athletico Madrid before the game. I believed they won't be foolish enough to threw away two goals advantage but I was disappointed when Barcelona scored the opening goal yesterday. I thought they might push the game to extra time and possible penalty shootout but I regained my confidence when Athletico scored additional one goal to maintained the lead based on aggregate. I wasn't happy with the performance but yeah the deed has been done and Semi final spot is secured.

Lookman's goal was a decisive one cause it's what made Barcelona to be eliminated from the competition, if they atleast tried to stop Atletico Madrid from scoring maybe they would've still be in thd competition by now. Barcelona's problem started when they conceded two goals without replying and got worst after Lookman scored, coupled with the red card.

 It was those rotation in the match with Sevilla that made me believe something interesting would go down yesterday, it increased mu confidence for Atletico Madrid and I expected them to win since they're the home team. Well one important goal was garnered better than winning since it's kept them in the competition.

You are right and if we are to be honest on this, Barcelona really tried strongly and all the efforts they could put were done in this match, right from very beginning of this match, they were a clear consistency and there's no any fault or lapses in thier consideration and focus, they actually control the game's pr match structures and many chances were created, that's show that Barcelona really came prepared with full determination to change every narration of this match.

 However, at times in football luck is always the key and clearly this particular luck wasn't meant for Barcelona against Atletico Madrid this time. Now, Atletico Madrid is one of the representatives from La Liga to the semifinals. I think Atletico Madrid will definitely try to keep winning. Their chances of winning La Liga are slim. However, in the Champions League, Atletico Madrid clearly has a good chance of winning, although it certainly won't be easy against a team that advances to the semifinals.

Later, we'll see the Real Madrid vs. Bayern match. Real Madrid, as La Liga's representative, doesn't know whether Real Madrid will follow Atletico Madrid to the semifinals or not. I honestly never expected Barcelona qualify to the semi finals of the uefa champions league after the first leg that ended 2-0 because I don't think Barcelona was good enough to win this atletico madrid team 3-0 at away, and as expected, they failed on that regard because their defense was their main weakness, and the red card that they got again with just few minutes left made things even more difficult, and in the end, atletico madrid was able to hold unto their lead till the final whistle. So they are now waiting for arsenal in the semi finals, if they can complete their own job by beating sporting Lisbon at the emirate stadium today.

Had it been there first meeting ended on 1:0, Barcelona would have had the chance to qualify, this should serves as a lesson to them, they also had opportunity yesterday because they had the 2goals first and was unable to defend it, Red card was also another problem for them,  Arsenal just have 1 goal in their last match against sporting and what no one should expect from me is to underestimate any team, there is no team as it is that ca n not perform better at any time, sporting was not not that bad in their last match and even if arsenal will win at the end of will not be an easy ride for them, I will talk about arsenal next match of they quality to the next fixture.

Firstly their is nothing like normal or abnormal football, the right word should be tactics. Atletico Madrid did the hard part of the job in the first leg by going away from home to get a 2-0 win. We all know Diego Simione and his defensive football,  so I am definitely expecting the same tactics from him again. This has been his tactics for a very long time and it had worked for him, so I don't see him changing that plan today, especially now that he has a 2 goal lead already, but I will not be surprised if this match still produces over 2.5 goals, because I know that Barcelona will.be all over them in this match. Let's just watch and see what happens at the end of the game.

Barcelona caught momentum and everything was working perfectly for them, two quick goals made it seem like they could achieve the result they needed if they kept up the same intensity. However, a goal from Lookman disrupted that rhythm and showed that Atletico Madrid were also capable of scoring, so Barcelona had to be more cautious.

After that, the game became much more careful, and Simeone completely shut down defensively. Unfortunately, Barcelona couldn’t create anything meaningful after that. In the end, I think Atletico deservedly go through to the semifinals.

I’m very confident that Barcelona will lose the match, Atletico Madrid are prepared for them already and they will do everything possible to make sure that they win them in this second leg, especially since is their home. Man, all the praise to you—you managed to predict it correctly. But in the Barca vs Atleti game, things didn’t go well. Barca had everything they needed in the first 25 minutes of the game. If they had been even a little more clever and patient, they should have calmed the game down until halftime, and then around the 60th minute attacked with full force. I’m sure the outcome would have been a lot different.

But it’s classic Barca this season—superb attack, terrible defense. I think they need something like five goals to feel safe winning a game. Shame… now we’ll probably have anti-football in the semifinals: Atleti vs Arsenal.

The first leg between Barcelona and Atletico delivered an incredible surprise; the Catalans could not do anything against the Madrid side at home, losing 2-0. Therefore, I find it hard to believe in Barca's success in tonight's match?Atletico will not give up their lead at home. l don't even understand Someone sometimes, before the match everywhere on social media was about Atletico minutes playing defensively throughout the game and Diego Someone couldn't surprise us by coming out to play normal football he proved everyone right by turning to defensive approach. If he wants to progress, he should better come out and play this match till the end. If he approach the second half with defense mentality Barcelona will remove them.

Atlético Madrid's defense doesn't stand much of a chance against Barcelona's attacking players. They conceded two goals in quick succession and were lucky to have scored at least one thanks to Griezmann's magnificent performance and Lookman's goal. The first half is now over, and Diego Simeone needs to give his players the best tactical instructions. Perhaps it's time for Atlético Madrid to play like themselves.

Last night, Diego Simeone almost was about making a mistake that could have cost his team a continuous stay in the UCL, and it was that he quickly realised it, changed his defending tactics by calling his boys to fall out to play. Immediately they came out Barcelona couldn't have much possession of the ball anymore which may have led to that red card on García.
Barcelona's attacking front line is too strong for any team to play defensive with them, they must find a way to breakthrough.
