Lazio was the better team. They gave everything and they deserved that victory. Everyone on the pitch was superb. Their goal keeper effort was greatly noticeable as he kept them on the game with incredible saves. The coach read the game very well and all efforts paid off. If that was how Lazio have been playing from the beginning of the season, they could have been in a better place on the table.

As for Milan defeat, Allegri made the wrong formation that cost him the game. Only Modric played a genuine game, the rest of the players seem to be forced to play. Their attempts to get back on the game in the last 15 minutes fell short.

Inter could continue to draw their next 20 games, but AC Milan wouldn't be able to reach them with this style of play anyway.

I didn't realize how quick Napoli got close to Milan in the standings. It's because of Milan's incompetence lately of course. How can they manage not to score after all those goal chances?

Lazio defeated them with a 0.41 xG. This tells us a lot about Milan's current condition. They are in no shape to be a part of a title race.

Inter should be able to secure it a few weeks early despite these recent point losses.

Inter Milan may be struggling currently but , I don't think that will affect their title race because if you check the teams behind them they are not giving inter Milan much pressure. AC Milan too is not consistent and the rest of the other teams are not too informed. At this stage of the competition I think that fatigue has sent in because, if you you look at the current inter Milan team the players are not young and playing at this high level up to this point has stress them. Weaknesses and fatigue has set in inter Milan should just manage to play the rest of the remaining matches knowing that they are leading the league with some points.

What happened to Milan is truly a shame. Even though from the start of the season they really had the opportunity to win the Serie A trophy because they had a schedule that was not busy so their focus was only on Serie A, but this opportunity was wasted as their performance was often inconsistent. Currently all teams are in the same position because they are only focused on Serie A because all competitors have dropped out in the UCL competition.

Even when Milan had the opportunity to reduce their gap with Inter, they actually lost to Lazio even though last week they had just won against Inter Milan. The defeat against Lazio made Inter even more comfortable at the top of the league with Milan often inconsistent performance, I would like to say that the Serie A competition will probably end considering that they are already 8 points behind and there are only 9 games left. Among these 9 matches Milan is still facing tough matches such as Napoli, Juventus and Atalanta.

I don't think that's possible for any club to snatch the trophy from Inter this season because none of them are in the position to do so. Milan that I thought might have the opportunity to snatch the title from Inter is back sliding from it because they're also not in a good from to make it possible. Therefore, Inter might not have a rival till the end of the season. This is my own observation.
