Inter has failed to win a game for the past two weeks an dropped 5 points and yet Milan is still 8 points away from them. If Milan won this game, it would have been a five point gap and that's not a big one, still not easy to be the winner with five point gap, but would have been possible.
Now Milan is closer to Napoli than Inter, which means that goal for Milan has changed from trying to be the first to suddenly try to be not third. That makes a lot more sense for them because Napoli is only one point behind Milan and there are like eight or nine games left, one point gap could be nothing in that many games.

Como managed to beat AS Roma and now they have entered the UCL zone. If they can qualify for the UCL, it will be their biggest achievement since promotion to Serie A. Fans will certainly be very proud of that achievement. But Como's journey is still very difficult because they are only 1 point behind Juventus and 3 points behind AS Roma. I think Inter and Napoli will be their toughest games in the remaining league matches. But if Juventus and AS Roma also make mistakes, Como's chances of appearing in the UCL will be even greater. I see Juventus only have one tough match against AC Milan. The rest are teams they should be able to beat.

I don’t think they’ll manage to qualify for the Champions League; Roma and Juventus are hot on their heels, and all it would take is one slip-up from Como for them to be overtaken.

I'm amused by this, not out of revenge, but out of annoyance, towards Gasperini who thought he was going there to get into the Champions League, when he could have gone there with Atalanta, the last remaining Italian team, that is, the one that resisted the longest.

I think AS Roma wasn’t lucky enough yesterday. By eliminating Roma, Bologna will now face Aston Villa. This will be a serious challenge for Bologna as the only Italian team still in the quarterfinals.

Bologna did a huge work there really! I wasn't expecting Roma to get eliminated there early at least. But this was one of their worst defending performance of the season...

Defense has been the best thing they have done during the most of the season actually. However in this part of the season they are just going down hard! 

Gasperini doesn't have a good record against Vincenzo Italiano - only 5 wins in 17 H2H.

In terms of performance I see Aston Villa more prepared, the fact that Bologna took Roma out doesn't mean that much considering Roma had a mind-blowing drop in performances.
He's basically playing reasonably well, Bologna had the cunning to exploit the weakness and with minimal effort (because Bologna has a nice squad anyway) he took the victory home.
I would also like to see the match against Aston Villa, but I have doubts about the hypothetical result.

Yeah I really don’t think it’s possible for juventus to go to the champions league next season because como are doing very well right now and I can see that they are very determined this season and they will do everything possible to go to the champions league next season, como coach is doing very well and with what his doing right now in como he deserves to go to the champions league next season, juventus can only take over from como if como makes a mistake which I don’t think they will make any mistake. Let’s watch and see how everything will go but I wish and want como to go to the champions league next season, they have really done well.

There's no doubt Aston Villa is the stronger team, and i agree with that, but nothing’s impossible. As a big Napoli fan and a seria alover, i'll also root for Bologna, because like i said, they've got quality and can pull off surprises. Roma is definitely in a slump, but that's nothing new,you know as well as i do that Roma hasn't been the club we're used to for years. Aston Villa under Unai Emery is fantastic, but why couldn't they have just one off day?

However if you take into account the strength of Aston Villa squad and their form on home ground they will be much more ahead in the betting. That said if Bologna can keep up with the high pressing football they are playing against Roma then it is not impossible to cause a big upset. Roma played yesterday, and now will play on Sunday, that gives them only 2 days of rest. This is why I always say that the games should be played on Wednesday, right in the middle of the week. That way you can adjust the date based on when their next games are, give teams three days of rest, that's what's needed, if you do not do that, it's unfair advantage to everyone else.

Como and Juventus have no games like that, so Roma will be at disadvantage yet again, and it's hard to keep that going. In any case, Roma should be able to beat Lecce, they are the better team and that should not be tough, if they are not too tired, they will get a win here. The real problem is next week when they face Inter, doubt they can get out of that easily.

The only thing I'm happy to see at Napoli is KDB's return... But he doesn't look ready yet for a 90-minute play. He can't contribute much to the game for now.

But I hope he doesn't get injured again soon. Conte should be careful with using one of his most valuable players. Lukaku is also not ready yet and waiting for his turn on bench.

But I think they can make it to the champions league, possible. The have nine games left in the Serie A this season and they’re going to face somehow Mediocre teams in the remaining games with exceptions of Inter and Napoli who are the only two strong teams they’ll face before this season ends, so if they manage to win those seven teams and atleast draw these two then they’ll sure qualify for the Champions League next season but they really need a lot of effort to pull this.

The competition for the fourth spot in the Serie A this season is really intense and with any small slip, anything can happen.

Personally I favor Aston Villa because they have the better attacking intensity and I even see a strong chance of winning, even though their domestic form has declined slightly so far. A straight bet on an Aston Villa win might be better, as they have a chance of winning and I predict two goals in this match for Aston Villa.

Pressing and not giving Aston Villa an open game could be an advantage for Bologna, but they need to be aware of the weaknesses in several positions, especially the defense line which has not performed optimally so far. Facing English teams will be much more difficult because most of them usually use speed and the ability to counter-attack very quickly.

Nobody really though that Roma would be defeated, they looked like a team that could go a long way, to be fair Villa would have been the next opponent so I think Roma would have lost here instead of against Bologna if they won, but still it didn't look like it was possible before both games started, and yet somehow Bologna made it happen.

This is going to be tough for both teams because now they are very tired and they will have to play games again and Roma needs to win because that UCL spot is slipping more and more each week they do not win.
