It is obvious that Nigeria dropped down in group stage rankings as a result of their loss to Malawi in their first leg. This is not what the coach should take lightly as the Nigerian female team is known for their winning enthusiasm and here it happened like they are just relaxed. It is not up to 6 month's they claimed their tenth WAFCON title and that should make them eager to defend their title.
Anyways, it is still not late as the tournament just began and we hope they put in their best of best performances to winning their next match with Egypt so they have the hope of getting through to the next round.

The super falcons have always been the best in this competition from time to time, so one lost to Malawi can't be used to judge their performance. they still have few outstandings left and if they can be able to win all of them, then they have a higher chances of qualifying from their group. There next match is against Egypt, judging by their performance,the super falcons are the favourite to win the match. If they can walk away with all three points then probably Malawi or Zambia next match ends in a draw or defeats, superfalcons can fight their way easily to the top of the table.

Women football isn't as interesting as the men, and no gambler will have the passion to bet on women football competition because I am clueless about their performance and don't even know any big name in the teams. So far I can say that Morocco, and Zambia are leading by goals and Morocco has already qualified with 6 points. To win their table, Nigeria will need to Win Zambia and Egypt to keep their hope alive. The super falcons have to sit up and avoid loosing in group stage. That will be a very shameful thing for the defending champions. Of course we are not going to watch female football with the same precision that we watch the male football, what you highlighted is the reason why the women football doesn't really get much attention, it is because it is not played with the same intensity that the male football comes with. Honestly, I just became aware of this competition yesterday. I was just being sad because my cable subscription expired at the wrong time. It expired on the World cup finals day and then I had no option than to subscribe for the finals. Now, after the finals, I don't have any single need for TV again, this means my 1 month subscription is wasting.

At of the 13th official Women African Cup of Nations that was held, the Super Eagles has won ten of it, which have made them  to turn the competition to farmers competition. Regardless of the Super Falcons losing their first match I believe they will still defend their title by winning their next match till the final to take their tally to 11 titles because winning the Women African Cup of Nations is their birth right, I don't think they can be dethrone in this edition.

I think you need to actually go back and read about the game again I don’t think the person you got your information from which is the quoted game even watched the match because it was the Malawi national team that went two goals up in the last 20 minutes of the game it was the super falcons that were trying to come behind and definitely could do it even after a lengthy injury time which scored the two goals they had with Malawi scoring too during that time.

We can actually say the super Falcons were not actually concentrated in the game, because before the Malawi team breaking the deadlock which was actually due to Nnadozie the African best goalkeeper mis timing the ball while coming out for it, Nigerians were dominating but weren’t clinical at all to kill the game off early. Zambia beating Egypt 6:0 is a sign that they didn't come to the competition to joke this time but the records don't lie it shows that the Nigerian women has a good record against them and since they understand that if they lose to Zambia today they will be out of the competition, they are expected to be in their best performance, avoid making unnecessary errors like they did in their first game and the goal keeper not conceding cheap goals because watching the first game she made two careless errors I hope they recover today and use Zambia to make up for their first defeat.

Yes, you're right, the majority of football lovers in our country aren't interested in women's football, and the ones that are interested don't even know when the competition is ongoing. I don't know if this is the same with women's footballing in other countries too, or if it's just here in Nigeria, not knowing that our female national team, the Super Falcon, is way more successful with trophies achieved than the men's team has been. Yes Nigeria is one country that has been making Zambia women concede a lot of goals when they meet and so far there H2h has been four matches for them and Zambia got only one win from the four but Nigeria has won them three times but however this match might not be according to there h2h because Zambia has already demonstrated more than Nigeria currently so we have not seen what Nigeria has actually perform to really give us the idea that is going to be the same so actually even from the odds Zambia is already putting at first to win Nigeria so perhaps if I'm putting my money is not going to be Nigeria to win but is going to be about goals they would score because that's the one I understand better now.
