Even me i have not been following up the Women's African of Nations since it started and i am not even bother to watch highlights of the games that has been played in the competition, plenty of people do not take women's football seriously like men's football, and i believe there has been poor ticket sell which caused low attendance.

That was before but now people do take it serious when they're available to watch them just like me I have developed the habits of watching not only the super falcon but also other countries and I'm even on their live match against Egypt but however the falcon almost got the victory on the first half because they were 2:0 ahead of Egypt but after the end of first half the VAR called the referee to revisit an incident she didn't check properly and after reviewing it he realized there was a fowl committed against Egypt on the 18 box of the falcon so she gave penalty and Egypt scored making the match 2:1 but the current strength in the game goes to the falcon.

I've never doubted them, though they started poorly but i knew doubters would be in for a suprise, the Super Falcons have been the best in the tournament for years now and have a record of holding the highest trophy in the competition so just one lose to Malawi wouldn't make me distrust them.
 They didn't just win but did in a grand style, if this was a Mortal Kombat game if would've been flawless victory, I'm so proud of the Super Falcons i knew I could trust in them to get to the next round, if we were playing against Malawi i would've been worried not Egypt.

I almost lost hope, but the Super Falcons dug in and scored two goals in extra time to make it 6 - 2 and to book a place in the quarter final. I'm glad we finally made it. The super falcons came into the game prepared. The entire game was lit and everyone was up and doing. Oshoala's first penalty goal brought life into the game in the 21st minute and got subbed off due to possible injury. Monday came into the game and made a clear difference. The girls were brilliant, goals rained. 4 penalties played and scored. Kanu's first touch for the Nigeria was a goal, many dramas but in all, Nigeria held the game in control.

The referee was almost perfect in all her decisions, very excellent with VAR analysis. Even when the VAR was almost convincing her into accepting that Ajibade fouled the Egyptian defender, she maintained she was only protecting herself and went on to make her decision. Women's football used to be kind of boring, but not this tournament. Nigeria qualified ahead of Zambia and off to the last 8. Can the 10x champions add to their titles again? Now we have the table as Malawi, Nigeria, Zambia and Egypt.

One beautiful thing about the game of football is that you don't give up until you hear the final whistle that's exactly what happened tonight in the match between thr Nigerian women and the Egypt women. When the score was 4:1 we thought that it was all over but the Egyptians scored a beautiful goal as a result of defensive errors from the Nigerian women but following the actions and pressures from the Nigerian women another penalty was awarded to them which they converted before the 6th goal that came before the final whistle.

They are lucky to have made it to the next stage but the have to work on their performance cause if they continue with the poor performance they played in their first game then they wouldn't make it beyond the knockout stage.

After the first game against Malawi that ended in a defeat for the Super Falcons, I told s friend I watched the game with that I'm happy Nigeria lost the game, he asked why? I said it'll make them sit up and approach every other game like it's a final and just like I predicted, they've been excellent in the last two games. After beating Zambia with a woman down in most part of the game, they produced an impressive performance tonight to beat Egypt and progress to the next round. As the defending champions, I think Nigeria will likely win it for the 11th time in their history this summer.

I some days ago predicted that they were going to beat the Egyptian team based solely on the past performance of the team. Happy that it happened and I am also happy that it seems the super falcons have gotten the good mojo back. I hope it stays this way and they do not get too cocky if not they will be knocked out by an underrated team.

I wasn’t in doubt about this one my only worry was how the score line of the games will be and that’s what the super falcons needed to qualify, I wasn’t worry of them not winning but Zambia vs Malawi game shouldn’t produce a clean sheet or even more goals than what we saw already. I think most people do not understand the head to head rule still used by the CAF for qualification because the European football had abolished this rule and uses the goal difference directly. But this had long been cleared if one has been following African football

I agree with Princess Leah that Egypt would be easy for us because I just see Egypt as a team that came to make up for the women's African Cup of Nations.

Easy? Like, you mean easy-easy? Tell me it will be a struggle, but they may win and I'll buy that. Don't use the word easy, this is exactly why we were kicked out of the race in the WC (men).

If you don't believe Egypt would be an easy opponent for the Super Falcons I will never argue with you because everyone is entitle to their opinion and belief, but as for me the Super Falcons won't struggle in defeating Egypt tomorrow. The Super Eagles and the Super Falcons are two different teams, so don't compare them. My only concern is for Malawi to make Zambia drop points tomorrow so that the Super Falcons would finish second in group C and qualify to the knockout phase of the Women's African Cup of Nations.

The Nigerian super falcons destroyed Egypt 6-2 to progress to the Wafcon quarter-finals, guess I was wrong. I doubted them too much in my mind to even fathom how they would qualify, but they ended up performing seamlessly. Seemed like light work for them as they didn't feel threatened in anyway.

Egypt defended tightly in the first half, but they suddenly lost possession and struggled more to defend against every goal that went it. Like in most cases, they became aggressive and the penalties were an advantage for the falcons. For the records, they have lost 3 matches in a row and won't qualify. Meanwhile, Nigeria needs to keep an eye on Zambia and Malawi.

Nigeria has not been on a goal-scoring spree in this WAFCON; there has not been any game in this WAFCON where they have scored three goals, making me doubt their ability to have a high-scoring game.

Both teams will likely be more on the defensive to make sure they don't concede a lot of goals. An over 5.5 is extreme even though I like to bet on goals.

Their last two games were against better teams; I wouldn't say the same about this Egypt side that conceded 6 goals to the Zambia team we won with a Red card. I'm tempted to go in.

We'd see a more open game; Nigeria would be all attack, hoping to win by big margins, whereas Egypt would be searching for their first win before departing the tournament; they have nothing to lose, so why would they sit back?

Football is full of surprises look out Malawi that had 6 points after playing 2 games could not qualify to the quarter finals, their fans will be so sad because they did not see what hit them yesterday night coming. I never doubted the super falcons even when they lost 3:2 to Malawi in their first game, and when they won Zambia with a red card, i knew they were going to win Egypt yesterday and i am happy they thrash them 6:2 to save their image. Yes the super falcons won in a grand style, but if this was a Mortal Kombat it would not have been flawless victory since Egypt scored 2 goals.

Nigeria cuts my betting slip by loosing to Senegal. I predicted the game as a full time draw until Senegal scored Nigeria in the 2nd half of the game. I was hoping Nigeria would score an equalizing goal but they couldn't and the game finally ended with Senegal defeating Nigeria. Nigeria had better ball possessions and goals opportunity but lacks finishing, I was disappointed with the outcome because they had more quality players present in that match than Senegal and yet they couldn't score a single goal before the match ended. I wasn't happy that they didn't qualify for the world cup and now they have started messing things up. I think the Nigeria coach should come up a better strategy and also talk sense to his players.

The coach needs to understand that finishing line shouldnt be messed up, that match was full of some craps, Nigeria had some opportunities to upturn the match even to their favour but lack of finishing sense messed everything up for us, so what next, where are we, what have we achieved with all those ball possession and overall good statistics, has those been able to help us out in any way, the answer should be know I guess, hey I felt for you when you said your bet tickets was tored by Nigeria, I laugh because you have mind man, I don't bet it Nigeria for any reason to enable me be a free man beside I don't normally watch their matches is just recently I started watching their match but you need to grab something, don't get too emotional when betting, move on very quick when you lose a bet so that you won't continue hurting your feelings.

Sincerely speaking I don't know what is really happening with our super eagles this time around they are no longer playing good and interesting football anymore, and they really need wake up and make us proud this time around, just as our super falcons did in the WAFCON. I know that when it comes to the national team the super eagles players are not been treated the same wey they are been treated in there various clubs, but even as that they should put in their best when playing in the national team, because they representing their country Nigeria, and it will make no sense that will have good and quality players in super eagles and still can secure the AFCOM trophy.

First off,do you think the coaching staff or the players' mentality is more crucial in addressing this issue? I think our Super Eagles really need some inspiration plus improvement, which could include players from and players' fitness playing a very important role, and also having mental preparation and being more focused, tactical cohesion and some little bit of chemistry between themselves.It's really disheartening to see them underperform, especially given their talent. I think the Super Falcons' success in WAFCON is indeed inspiring, and we'd love to see similar excellence from the men's team. Well, I think they should have a renewed focus on teamwork; strategy and national pride could help them regain their form and bring glory to Nigeria.

Is more essential, in adressing some of the problems. Super Eagles really need a lot of inspiration added the provement which we include some of the players getting fit for playing every crucial role. When it comes to country side the nigera players are not treated fairly even as they play their best in the national league , they played to reperesent their country, if some Nigeria players that play in country side join the super eagles nigeria will go far in any competition they found themselves .

After the super falcons not so good result in their debut game, i was even reluctant watching the game but seeing a 6 goal scored that has advanced them into the quarter finals, you can not be more proud of this team for their never disappointing result whenever they step up for it. On Sunday, they will be taking on Cameroon in the all important quarter final fixture. it is going to be a very difficult task for the super falcons because this Cameroon team are a formidable side but with this number of goals against Egypt, they've have already announced fear in the Cameroon camp.
