Nigeria qualifying for up coming world cup is still under probabilities because I see know challenging and fighting spirit in them that can make them qualify.

The super eagles were able to win their match today which was a nice one for them, actually it’s a match which they are suppose win, because they played against a very weak country. Super eagles were able to win today, but there is no assurance that they will be qualifying for the World Cup.

Actually South African played draw which is really a bad one for them, they are ahead of super eagles now with just a point, but the Issue now is that Benin won their match today, and they are ahead of super eagles with 3 points, super eagles next match will be against Benin, they have to win the match, and they should start praying South Africa lose or play draw in their next match.

The match ends in 1:2, though the Super Eagles won but to me they should have done better because a team like Lesotho is supposed to be beaten with like 4:0, they shouldn't even have gotten one goal in this match but Nwabali was clearly the cause of the goal, i don't blame him because players do make mistakes. Just look at mediocre country like Lesotho is who Nigeria was struggling to win, it really shows how weak the squad has become. Anyways, since they won at last it's fine but the Nigeria National team really need to opt their performance in their next matches.

I didn't bother watching the match again after the boring 25 minutes that I watched in the first half. But according to the statistics I saw from Livescore, Nigeria really wasted a lot of chances in the game, I saw 11 shots on target and the only converted 2 from the 11 which isn't really ok but the good is that at least they got all 3 points. Heading into the last match in few days time against the table topper Benin Republic will be a different ball game.

I don't care so much if they struggled against Lothoso or not;
I also do not care about the score line since super eagles collected the 3 points;

I don't think I care if Super Eagles can win their next match;

They just conceded a very silly goal and the Lesotho are back into the game. We needed that goal to increase our goal difference.

I don't know if Nwabali was playing for or against Nigeria. It was a very silly goal to concede. I wouldn't say I'm satisfied with the players performance, but they did their part to score two goals, and he almost cost them the three points. If I were Eric Chelle, I would relegate him to the bench. He does not deserve to be the first-choice goalkeeper.

Nwabali hasn't been doing well to be honest. I guess he might have been quite relaxed thinking he doesn't have a competitor, we need all players to be at their best. A friend was actually disappointed seeing we conceded against like Lesotho but anyway I don't have much expectation from our team, a win is enough and that is what I want from the remaining games. Thank God we got a win today though we could have dominated more.

Nwabali hasn't been doing well to be honest. I guess he might have been quite relaxed thinking he doesn't have a competitor, we need all players to be at their best. Thank God we got a win today though we could have dominated more.

I hope it is not the regular pattern that the Super Eagles often have, where they win the first game and then go on to struggle in the next game after everyone's expectation has gone up concerning the team.

In their next game, a draw will not be satisfactory; they need to win and get all three points.

I agree with you 100%. There's no way we can compete at the global stage of the world with these kind of performances. We may have won today but there's still indications that we're yet to get our affairs in order. I still doubt we'll see second place in the qualifiers so our world cup qualifiers might as well be over.

I'm really happy we won but that's a very small team and we couldn't beat them convincingly. It's over.

I have little hope on the games my expectations has not risen I'm tired of our team. Having higher expectations for the team will be too much causing mental draining notably.

They must have loved the super eagles a lot to say this, how do they even come up with such statement. Although this is beginning to look like they mean what they said because this is the second half now and the South Africans hasn't started wining them, so if they could do it for the eagles by going home draw that will be the best news Osimehn will get because they will start seeing favour that seem lost for them. Super eagles didn't score on there first half but they have scored on this second half, they're missing a lot of chances, they should quickly get another goal to avoid any scoring from the Lesotho, Moses Simon has saved the super eagles for creating the penalty if not there would have been no goal now.

Wow if that was said before their match it’s really something, they kept to their words and delivered but the Eagles couldn’t deliver themselves convincingly, instead of adding more goals they conceded one putting more gaps on their goal difference. I liked the lineup Eric Chelle chose for the match, two strikers and more attacking midfielders but somehow they aren’t delivering as expected, I hope they capitalise on this and improve in their next game. Right now they need to win Benin with like 3 goals and it looks like a high task but they can do it, they’ve done it before they need to stun the cheetahs and hope South Africa doesn’t win.

To make everything more easy Benin should have been in the place of South Africa so that the point wouldn't have been many because now is like chance are being giving to the super eagles and still tell them that they're going to suffer, so actually let's say it was as I imagined the Benin will be on the 15 point today and super eagles on 14 points so since they are both inline any side that wins come out. Some person might be wondering will I'm not considering the one point South Africa is only having against them but is because they're sure of what they have as the last which is going to make it 18 points. Super Eagles won as expected, yet the match was kind of difficult for them which is crazy. Nigeria first goal was a penalty and they won by only one goal difference. At the end of the game they weren't top, conceded a goal and was unable to add another one.
I am kinda disappointed and I wonder if they can stand with Benin and worst, they have to wait for South Africa to lose or get a draw against Rwanda. South Africa were at their worst condition since Zimbabwe is the last team in the group, yet they picked a point from South Africa.
Nigeria still stands a chance which is small, yet it will stimulates them in this last round.

Super Eagles won as expected, yet the match was kind of difficult for them which is crazy. Nigeria first goal was a penalty and they won by only one goal difference. At the end of the game they weren't top, conceded a goal and was unable to add another one.

Nigeria players did not disappoint us. They were able to secure full points from the match. They won 2-1 against Lesotho. After failing to score any goals in the first half, the team scored two goals in the 55 th and 80th minutes of the second half to take a 2-0 lead.

I got the expected result in the Nigeria and Tunisia match and won the bet. But I was disappointed in the Zimbabwe vs South africa match. South Africa failed to win this match. The match ended in a  goalless draw. My bet was on South africa winning. But despite a lot of attacks, the South African players could not score a single goal. A total of  24 shots were made by the South African players in this  match.

The super eagles are not even suppose to lose to any club in the world club qualifiers, with the group which they super eagles are, they are suppose to be at the top of the table, but at the end the super eagles are just struggling to qualify for the World Cup, and with the look of things they going to find it difficult, because Benin are not really ready to lose any matches now, they will want to maintain the first position which they are.

South Africa and Benin are already ahead of the super eagles, so the two countries will have to lose the match which they are having left, and super eagles will have to win before they will be able to qualify which I feel it’s going to be kind of difficult. After Seeing that Benin defeated Rwanda, you went ahead to call them “undefeated Rwanda” 🇷🇼 lol. I had expected Benin to also play out a draw but unfortunately they won, The group is still open tho some have higher chances than others. The Super Eagles chance are the slimmest, they have to work hard and also pray the other results go in their favour. At this point most Nigerians have lost hopes of going to the World Cup, they took it out of their hands when they drew 1:1 against Zimbabwe, that game could have put them on a higher chance and that’s why Osimhen was angry after that match. Now the decision is out of their hands even if they do win Benin it MUST be 3 goals or more before they can think of a chance. Let’s pray for Success for them. Rwanda won South Africa the last time just pray they can replicate that or hold them to a draw.

You are not wrong when you said that our super eagles always find themselves in a difficult situation like this where they must use a calculator when they are in the last days in their world cup qualifying series.
But it would have been better if bafana bafana of south Africa was the one that were on 17points than benin republic, because we still have to play benin republic, so now we have to win them by at least three goals to stand a chance of qualifying if the south Africans fails to win the Rwanda national team, but judging by what i have seen so far from our super eagles, it will be a thing of miracle if we can  qualify, because as it stands now, we are in a more difficult situation that we can ever imagined.

It is now complicated though,  the teams are now becoming tougher than they were since the qualifiers is about coming to an end. Rwanda and South Africa would have a tough time playing against each other as I predict a goalless draw or a draw between the both teams. As for Nigeria, we are expecting nothing less than a win to give us a good boost to qualify for the world cup. However it is left for FIFA to decide on best procedures or criteria to qualify the teams if it happens as you have said.

As for the broadcast, we watch match here live as there are some stations which air it live, although our local stations air our matches most times depending on the match time. Aside that I do view live matches through subscribed stations sonot is not problem viewing live matches over here.

I understand your sentiment man, this super eagles team I have watched so far in this world cup qualifying games are not good enough to go to the world cup, is this how we  want to go there and perform against the likes of France, Argentina or Brazil?
Our team is just playing a complete nonsense, and I equally don't think we have what it takes to beat this Benin republic side three goals to nil, considering how lackluster the performance of our super eagles team has been so far, the best we can get is a play off spot and we must beat this Benin republic side and be hoping that south Africa fails to win their own game, which I don't think it's possible.
