I hope you put your money on Nigeria because we are going to win the match just like we beat Algeria yesterday. Senegal vs Egypt is going to be an interesting watch. I love both players, but I will be backing Egypt to win because I want to sss Salah go far in the tournament. He is having a hard time in Liverpool, a break from Arne Slot would boost his confidence and show the world that he isn’t washed.

Man Utd problems are far beyond what Amad and Mbeumo can fix. They couldn't even do it even with Amorim as their head coach, certainly not now that the team currently lacks stability.

Imo, as for Salah, even though he wins the afcon or not, it's still clear that his performance have heavily degraded. Wanting your players to do well in national team is usually the default mindset. However, I'm also a fan of the Super Eagles. So as much as I want Salah to win it, I need the Super eagles to win it more.

Now both teams already returning back to the club Manchester United after Ivory Coast as Amad Diallo national team and Bryan Mbeumo with his national teams Cameroon have been eliminated at AFCON Cup 2025. Maybe next match already for playing with their club since their national teams can't reach until the semifinal round.

The game between Egypt vs Senegal is going to be a fascinating contest between these two teams no doubt, and it's a game I will be looking up to, but if I will be making an analysis on the game, I think that the Egyptian team might sneak into the finals through a penalty shootout, but as for the Morocco vs Nigerian game, I don't think their is a clear favourite in this game because as it stands, Morocco are the host and one of the favourite to win this Afcon, while the Nigerian team are the most potent team in the tournament, added with the kind of free flowing attacking football that they plays, though I wouldn't be ruling anything out in this game, but the chances are high that Nigeria might steal the show if the are able to dominate the Morocco team the way they dominate the Algerian team on that day.

I understand your sentiment man, I know that as Nigerians, we are very passionate supporting our national team, and due to disappointment, most Nigerians no longer watch our games , they just prefer hearing the final outcome of how they played. I understand such persons and why they are doing so, because not everyone can take heartbreak as most of us can do, but this Nigerian team i have seen in this year afcon is totally different, and I can confess that the last time Nigeria was this good was in 2014 when we won the African cup of nations with Stephen keshi, that year, (pigin) Nigeria dey ball.
So I am confident that this is our year and Morocco cannot stop our super eagles in claiming this year afcon title.

Honestly I'm not sure of Francis Odinaka Uzoho replacing Nnwabali, it could happen but let's ask ourselves this question, why is it that this man Nnwabali is always acting differently when it matters a lot? He doesn't know when to delay or how to delay at the same time avoid a card and now he's been suspended for that useless idea of delaying, doesn't he even have what it takes to be the shot stopper of the Super Eagles? To be honest, I'm not worried about Ndidi being replaced (he has done pretty well) by Raphael Onyedika, that's ok but the issue is the goalkeeper I don't think he has what it takes to take us far just like our great goalkeeper did back then, talking about Vincent Enyeama, he has it all and it pains me that some of these goalkeeper we have can't learn some of what he did. So can Uzoho do better against Morocco that's if he's being considered the replacement for Nnwabali?

I am just curious between Egypt, Morocco, and Nigeria, which of these countries do you think would win the AFCON? I don’t have any hopes for Nigeria despite their recent “improved” performance in quotes. I don't blame you if you don't have any hopes for the Super Eagles to win the African Cup of Nations because the Super Eagles have disappointed us so many times in the past when we have had high hopes for them. But with the way the Super Eagles made it so easy for them to beat Algeria yesterday, I am telling you for free that the Super Eagles are winning this year's African Cup of Nations.

People don’t really get it that these players need to be praised also if they win the AFCON and missed out on the World Cup. From their last outings in the World Cup till now, we have seen a positive change in their performance and that’s to show that they’ve learned and become better than they were. If they played like this during the World Cup qualifiers, I know they would have qualified for the World Cup even before they finish playing the 10 match home and away fixtures in the group. I really commend their performance in the AFCON and winning this trophy is a great achievement for them after missing out on the World Cup. Soar higher Super Eagles!!

You are perfectly right in all that you said here bro, because in football talent alone is not enough. A team falls to qualify for a world cup tournament or any other international tournament doesn't mean that the team is not good, most times it's due to bad coaching and bad organizations that is mostly the cause, as you have said already, not by just having a talented squad.

The world cup competition is too important to be over looked and when I see people taking about the super eagle not qualifying, it sound too comfortable to many that think since they could not qualify for the world cup, they are cool with the AFCON.
The question is, is the AFCON bigger than the world cup tournament? We need to understand the differences and yhe opportunity is pose for the Nigerian players.

I believe everyone that is in this thread knows how important the World Cup is, and they were bitter since the Super Eagles didn't qualify for the upcoming World Cup tournament, but they won't kill themselves since the Super Eagles failed to book a spot in the World Cup. Exactly because I think they were over relax in the qualifier due to the fact that the confidence of fans were too much on them because even till now there are many people who still believe that Super Eagles would play in world cup.

Don't put too much hope on them. I'm not worried about Morocco match but the finals. In the last AFCON, Nigeria got to the finals and messed it up. I wouldn't put my confidence on them but if they win the tournament, I will be happy and celebrate. Their performance has been superb so far, they can disappoint you in a very important match.

I'm not concerned about what Mo Salah is going through because he once had his best of time there in the club so if Arne Slot is giving him tough time he should leave the team because things are not always the same, the only reason I will be backing Egypt is because they will an easy side for Nigeria to face than Senegal if they should go through Morocco but I believe they can go through Morocco no matter what it takes, and for those that don't still believe in Nigeria I think they should start believing in them because they are actually winning this year AFCON no doubt.

The last time Senegal and Egypt met Senegal was the best team of the continent playing attacking and good football while Egypt was just defending and luckily winning matches. This time around they are both playing good football attacking and defending so well. It’s going to be a very tough match.

Haven't you seen the current AFCON semi finals featuring?, super eagles and Egypt are never to meet because they did not featured them together, so the country featured with Egypt are the Senegal but by the time it will be possible for eagles and Egypt is if they beat the country on there semi finals. Egypt is lucky it wasn't super eagles on the quarter finals with them because the squad of super eagles is selectively than Egypt, however by this time we are supposed to be seeing promises from some willing indigenous of Nigeria who is proud of Nigeria on this AFCON in pronouncing the gift they have for them after wining the Semi finals.
