Finally, Senegal has finally scored after several attempts on goal, they have finally broke the Egyptian defence and open the scoring. Senegal to win and Nigeria to win as well to make up my day. If this happens, I will so enjoy the finals. Seriously, this is not the Egyptian team we used to know, the Senegalese dominated them so well in this very game.

The Senegal really play well in that watch against Egyptian they deserve to win, and it was great achievement for them after make so many attempts and later turn the last attempt to secure a win against Egyptian that a lot was hype that their very strong and also have strong defense they’ve bring them down today. I believe that if Nigeria had played against Egypt, then Nigeria would have won the game, but unfortunately for Nigeria, they will play against Morocco in a few days, which is the most difficult national team in this tournament. It's not very difficult for Nigeria to win, especially since the Nigerian national team has been one of the ones that has surprised me a lot and they have many skillful players who can make a big difference in today's game. I didn't bet on this game and I won't watch it because I'll be watching the Arsenal game.

The win was a deserving one for the Senegalese, they were not able to convert most of their chances, they would have finished in a grand style than this one. I really applaud the game tonight and the effort put into the game by the Senegalese team, I can’t wait to also see their performance in the finals. We have the Nigeria vs Morocco game upon us now. The host nation will be looking to book their spot in the finals just how the super eagles will not also relent in their struggle to win this trophy after missing out on the World Cup. Ndidi doesn't make the squad for the semi finals. He had a knock against Algeria and looks to have not recovered fully yet. Onyedika is a very capable replacement. I was impressed anytime I watched him play for Club Brugge and feel he should have gotten a bit more playing time this tournament. He also has an eye for goals and has scored 2 already with his limited minutes.

This will b a very tough game against the host. Both Nigeria and Morocco like to press high and close spaces. The battle for the midfield will be very important for who wins this.

In football anything happened, maybe the team you have in mind to win might lose beyond your expectations, that's why it's called  gambling, because nobody knows what the future may determine...I'm not against Nigeria neither against Morocco, anyone can win, it's a game which nobody is assured of the team that will win except their performance and end of the final whistle will determine the that wins....I have study football for years, so i don't need to support a particular team when we have not heard the final whistle..with i and you is talking here, can't determine the victory of any of the team, it's the performance of the team that will give them victory.

My prayer is that Nigeria qualifies for the final, we don't desire any position if not the AFCON winners. His absence is causing a loopholes in Nigeria team, assuming he was present in today's match, Nigeria would have recorded 1 goal by now, but all hopes will be on Victor Osimhen and Lookman and Onyekdika, I know very well that targets of Morocco is Victor Osimhen, and if Victor is been hold tight that means the match will be heavy on Nigeria side..but with performance it will determine if it will end up penalty kick.

However, Calvin Bassey have just been issued an unfair yellow at 33 minutes into the game after the Moroccan player tried to pull his shirt and he reciprocated, causing a foul. But I'm happy Achraf Hakimi wasn't able to score the free kick.

Senegal has qualify for the finals

I've said it before now that this Egyptians team hasn't really shown too much of impact in this competition, unlike previous tournaments,  Mo.Salah isn't scoring much goals as we expected of him, in fact he is a shadow of himself. I give it to Senegal, they are the better team, though it was a tough game but they made use of their opportunity.

How else do you want Egypt to show impact in the tournament? they played against teams like South Africa and Ivory Coast which are strong teams in the tournament, but they won them all, isn't that an impact? reaching the semi-finals, is it a joke? honestly, they tried for even reaching the semifinals because i was thinking that they will be eliminated by Ivory Coast in the quarter finals. Mo Salah scored 4 goals: it's a great impact because most of those goals were decisive goals and what made them advance further. Senegal played better and they got the win but that doesn't mean we should nullify the efforts of Egypt.

Very borrow first half for me, what I need is Nigeria to score, but Nigeria only had 1 shots on target, but also did Moroccan team. The first half just seemed like the usual Africa match that goals will not be many or maybe they will end up playing penalties which is what I do not like at all.

It is half time now. I hope the second half will be better. We are at their home, they have home advantage but that does not mean we can not still win. I hope we win this match.

Nigeria is lucky to not accept goals yet from Morocco. During first half, it looks like Nigeria is afraid from Morocco attacks rather than to score its first goal. I feel like they want to draw with no goals then go to penalties. Morocco is a strong competitor that it's not like old days when Nigeria was the football leader in Africa. I bet on Morocco to score the first goal then focus on defense only. It's an amazing match.

I did not have any problem when I learnt that the referee for the match Nigeria and Morocco is from Ghana, and Ghana and Nigeria has this sibling rivalries, but after the first half and the way the officiating has gone i have a big problem with it.
The yellow card shown to Calvin bassey was a blunder from the referee, bassey was already comfortably in front of Daiz and had his shirt tugged back but the referee gave the free kick to Morocco and a red card to bassey that will make him miss the final if Nigeria is to qualify.

That's how some persons believed Algeria was far better that the teams the Super Eagles played against in the group stage, but when the Super Eagles played against Algeria in the quarter final, Algeria was even worse than the teams the Super Eagles played against in the group stage. I know that Morocco is more difficult than Algeria, but I believe the Super Eagles will secure a safe passage to the final.

No doubt the Morocco team is a better side than Algeria they have a very good record in this tournament and they have the advantage of playing in front of their fans, watching the game right now and seeing how they dominated the game in the first 45 minutes one should know that they didn't come to waste time this season.

You are right the captain of the Nigerian team wasn't injured rather he was suspended and he will be back in the finals of Nigeria defeat Morocco to get to the finals but another important player of the Nigerian team will not be playing if we get to the finals because he's been giving another yellow card tonight Calvin Bassey it's really going to be difficult for Nigeria in this game.

It is very clear that the referee is against Nigeria super eagles because his doing things that shows that it’s just very clear. What was the meaning of that yellow card that was given to Bassey it looks like they have plan to weaken our good players with card and also blowing against us, now that they have gone for break they should call the referee to order immediately so he will not be against the Nigeria squad in the match because if he continues this act it won’t be funny.
Morocco is having more possession in that match and the Nigeria defense is not really doing as I expected but they are trying especially Bassey his doing a very good job in that defense but they need to improve if they really want to win this match, our attackers should do more better so Morocco players won’t have space.

If super eagles beat them Bassey might not play the final because of the yellow card, I don't no why the yellow that's not even a red will skip him from playing the next if they have victory today because I heard people saying it but I didn't bother to ask them why they think so, so how is this possible?. Ndidi  absent on this game is not making it look good because our midfield is only playing defense but when he is present they are forward and back, super eagles should change form because what they play first half cannot refuse Morocco on the second half, super eagle knows that Morocco has defense so the striking of Look man is something they should do more.

When I saw it, I had issues with that, and did they prove me right and not only that the lead VAR in the match is a South African, another country Nigerians has a little bit of problem with. Truly that card from the referee was not just, I feel he just wanted to show his dominance in the match because the tension was going out of hand but a yellow card for Bassey is not just right, he is now going to miss the finals if they win the match.

Although Morocco has got some good chances but the resistance from both sides is very impressive, you can see how well they're defending and very careful not to cause a big errors that would lead to their opponent scoring, anyways Morocco is doing all they can to remain in the tournament, im impressed with their performance.

 However, this is not the best of the Super Eagles, I really want to see that confidence I saw against Algeria in the second half, I know the Morrocans are putting much pressure on them and they can't control the game very well, but they need to work on their confidence in the second half and calm the pressure, maybe if they can get more closer to Morocco’s box often they could be lucky find the net since they have better attackers.
