Nothing to be demoralised about it, we've had a great time in this competition, the boys did their best and the same with the manager and fans. And if Egypt wins the third place position, no problem,  all we've ever wanted was the first position and we couldn't get it. Congratulations to whoever wins,  Sadio Mane has promised the Senegalese fans he will love to bring the trophy back home again since it will be his last African Cup of Nations Competition.

There is no doubt things were on course for good end of their campaign but sadly in this last game their midfield completely failed, and they have no depth which hurt because they were completely clueless and things were also not favourable with man to man marking more problematic.

I am expecting that they can win against Egypt in last game, this could be a good boost for them, and they will be going ahead with new energy and better strategy because always keeping positive is good, this can bring good results and better motivation to players for having win, with this defeat a long break for them because now they have nothing to do till end of this season.

I think that what really killed the Nigerian team was their lack of proper cover up for the absence of ndidi, onyedika that was meant to cover up for the absence of ndidi was a complete failure, he was too slow on the ball and the tempo of the game is what he struggled with all through, but if the Nigerian team had a better holding midfielder as cover up, i think that things would have been different.

I am expecting that they can win against Egypt in last game, this could be a good boost for them, and they will be going ahead with new energy and better strategy because always keeping positive is good, this can bring good results and better motivation to players for having win, with this defeat a long break for them because now they have nothing to do till end of this season.

I wanted the super eagles of Nigeria to win the Afcon trophy, and i was happy with the way they were performing because it made me believe the super eagles of Nigeria would win the Afcon trophy, but after the super eagles of Nigeria were knocked out by Morocco, i was deeply hurt, and i do not know if i can continue watching the Afcon tournament.

I expected Morocco to reach the final because they were playing at home. Playing on your home stadium is always a big advantage when the teams are more or less equal. Nigeria played good football, but Morocco won on penalties. Now, in the final on Sunday, the host nation will play against Senegal. The whole country is waiting for a win.

Added to the fact the morrocan team had the massive support of the home fans and rumor even had it that they even did everything in their power to actually break the fans of the super eagles so that they won't have any effect in their support for the super eagles which was very effective too. The super eagles were defeated psychological and it was showing in the errors that the players keep making for lots of time. If any thing I would even credit the super eagles for holding up so strongly till the game got to that time.

Moroccans Loudness wasn't a rumor because you can hardly heard our drummers playing for the super eagles to no they are hyping there morals because all the place was the Moroccan fans and since there color is red everywhere was red all through and I could barely see Nigerians fans, if the pitch attendance was 10,000 people who are Nigerians are not up to a thousand persons on the field, although since it was on the country of Morocco all of them would come out to watch there country, Moroccans didn't play like national team they play as international team if you watch them.

Morocco and Senegal have qualified for the AFCON final match, if we predict between these two teams now, we can expect Morocco to be the champion; their performance is very good. Although I expected Nigeria to beat Morocco and secure the final match, unfortunately, they lost due to the tiebreaker, we know that penalties mainly depend on the luck of each team. And Nigeria's luck may not have been good, as a result of which they failed to beat Morocco, and Morocco qualified for the final. On the other hand, Senegal qualified for the final by defeating Egypt, but anyway, Senegal is playing great at the moment. Anyway, Morocco vs Senegal will also be a great and interesting match. There will be a lot of excitement between the two teams; the team that can play well will be the AFCON champion and win the title.

No one is happy about how it turned out but you are right complaining and playing the blame game and keep oit head focused on getting it right next year. The super eagles just needs to learn from their mistakes and just like you said, they have a good manager so he should be able to come up with a strategy next year and make changes that can help the team to perform better. beating the players up with words won't help

It's time to wipe our tears and get back to work. The next African Cup of Nations qualifiers will start next year and will be in two or three years, the World qualifires have will commence. We need to start planning after the third-place match.

Eric Chelle should be retained, and quality friendly games should be organised. I don't mean games with Barbados, Slovania or the UAE. Senegal played a friendly match with Senegal and beat the Three Lions mercilessly. We should play games with Germany, Brazil, France and other top teams.

I will not watch that game because it means nothing to me. And plenty Nigerians will not watch that Egypt vs Nigeria match. Even the final I will not watch. Though what happened to Nigeria is not new to most of us. Nigeria Super Eagles always tried and not to win. According to a popular saying, "Nearly cannot killed a Bird". This is an African proverb. Though as I said in the previous comment, Nigeria tried in the defending and all their hope was in the penalty but that disappointed them. I don't think Morocco will win the tournament title.

I still maintain that the Super Eagles were and still remains the best performing team in this competition, except Senegal happen to defeat the host Morocco in the finals on Sunday, the Eagles have performed tremendously well all along winning all their games except against Morocco, but against Egypt in the semi finals it's going to be a different ball game, though not an easy task but I believe the Super Eagles will finish in third place.

Have you not seen that the Super Eagles are fond of failing when all eyes begin to be on them, lesser number of Nigerians watched super eagles play at the group stage, the interests of Nigerians grew when they won the quarter finals and got to the semi-finals, I could notice more officials began to visit their camp at this stage, then the news of bonus got up to the mainstream media, regarding the players threatening to miss training, the development added up to derail the comfort of the Nigerian players, let alone the fans and stewards who didn't allow Nwabili a breathing space in the goal post during the match.

In all, the super eagles did well, at least they got to the semi finals, it's not easy, the team only need to build up their game on the next tournaments.

Morocco proved again that they are one of the best teams in Africa. No wonder they will face Senegal in the final match. Meanwhile Nigeria have to finish this competition third at least.

The Super Eagles are demoralized over the loss to Morroco, Egypt is likely winning them in the third place race, they never wished for that position, so, they may not invest their all in winning the Egyptians. It was quite a good time with the Super Eagles, they did their best in this year's Afcon.

I see that game as an opportunity to field players who have not tested playing in an AFCON tournament. Both the Egyptians and the Nigerians aren’t happy at all with their position but it is what it is they must play the match.  I think Nigeria will win it, they have the highest number of bronze cups in the AFCON and if they take the match serious even with their second team they could do Egypt some damage but it’s still hard to say if their morale is low.

We cannot blame the emotions and how the supporters react but yet again these people has taken it too far as to making the whole thing to be all about tribe, the country is in a bad shape concerning religion and where you're from and all that but making this particular issue to be part of the country's problem is not needed, fine he missed the golden chance so why are many calling out his tribe that the are the problem of Nigeria and it won't be well with the Igbos and I hear a voice note of someone laying a curse on him and his family, common brother, some persons need to be taken to any mental institution. With all the insults that is going on I think those on X are the cause and if care is not taken it could be political, no carry anything play for Nigeria if not before you know it has gotten serious and we're fighting against it.

I can understand that tensions were high and a lot of people had high expectations from the super eagles who really did try in the game as they managed to hold down Morocco till the 90 minutes were over taking the game into a penalty shootout to produce a winner.
I don't know what was on the mind of Chukwueze that made him play a terrible penalty kick that had the Moroccan goalie save effortlessly, I know he, like all the players, wanted a win. Football is something that brings the country together as we're united in cheering for Nigeria. See I was not there but was just to much to handle from my end because that very day I had to sake so much in Nigeria team for them to win well it sounded like that since season there not making such mistakes that was how the other season they ended up playing this trash which it was hard to take, I feel the super eagles have learnt their lessons in other matches why do they till have to fuck this up, when they knew the whole country was counting on them..

Well I even head that the Nigeria fans that went to support the game at the other country they treated them with without regard they even sold out to them to tickets and they started that CAF didn’t even set up the stadium and there was no seats to seat as the opponent fans….

Honestly speaking I don't feel that vibe again, the intentions of the Super Eagles players and fans alike was to win the AFCON but them losing to Morocco was really big blow, I honestly to feel the hype and vibe any more, It feels like as they have lost the semi finals, they lost everything concerning the AFCON. It will be hard to predict who will come out victorious in the matchup between Egypt and Nigeria.
