I don't know how true is this but is our NFF planning on sacking Eric Chelle? If this is true then our football federation doesn't want our football to progress and I have not seen any of our coach last for at least 5 year as the head coach of the Super Eagles, it has been after any tournament they sack the manager, like what is going with the NFF? NOW that we have a better style of play and with the positive energy the boys have brought to the team I think is best to keep Eric Chelle to continue, this was how we lost our former coach Peseiro and the one before, how can we learn to keep a coach for long?

People are sick, but our NFF don't like anything that is going the right way especially when it comes to the Super Eagles, no wonder the falcons are doing much better than the Eagles. The media has been corrupt and we hardly see a news that speaks good about any thing and we find it hard to believe all we see online because we see more of rumors than the real truth.

The team was finally showing a more organized style and a different energy, and now they're already talking about firing the coach. This destroys any project. Players need stability, coaches need time, and the federation needs to stop thinking only about the next tournament. Without patience, you'll never have a good and balanced national team.

People are sick, but our NFF don't like anything that is going the right way especially when it comes to the Super Eagles, no wonder the falcons are doing much better than the Eagles. I also came across such news days ago, and I was wondering the extent to which all these news vendors could go to dish out fake news to the public just to gain traffic to their website with lies and deceit. I do not believe most of the news I get from them except I see it is already out from the official page of any organisation in question and the newsline reports it to the wider audience, but for news that is not verified or verifiable, I do not really give in to it as the majority of them sell lies to the public to gain traffic.

You are partially right with Nwabali competency. However, it's not that EPL clubs ain't watching the AFCON games but they haven't seen much potentials in him which is why they haven't shown any interest in him. Nwabali is a goalkeeper that plays on the field with the ball due to overconfidence and that has made many people to raise their eye brows on him. If only he can be 100% serious on the field and avoid those careless mistakes.

If only Nwabali playing on the field of play with the ball due to overconfidence is what is stopping premier league clubs to sign Nwabali, i think one premier league club would have taken the risk and signed Nwabali after the end of the Afcon tournament in Côte d'Ivoire because they could have assigned a personal trainer to Nwabali who will train Nwabali how to be very serious on the pitch of play, and he will stop playing on the field with the ball due to overconfidence. I think the reason premier league clubs are not showing interest in Nwabali is because they believe Nwabali has not gotten the challenge that qualifies him to become a premier league goalkeeper.

This trend you have mentioned is really disturbing and it is even sad that it has to continually happen this way without actually been checked because those who are supposed to checkmate the system are fully active involved with some of these activities, they keep forgetting that with sport, any form of compromise is and will always be reflected, you cannot hid it completely, the only thing you always have to do to remedy any form of lapses in the sporting system will be to employ capable professional hands and not those who were politically implanted just for the people at the hem of affairs to benefit and satisfy their selfish interest.

I'm reading about this rumour for the first time here. I check through the link you provided to read more and gosh who the hell is Spiritual leader Satguru Maharaj Ji? 

It's my first time hearing about that name. I don't know him before now or the influence he has in national affairs but meh it's disgusting that everyone can have opinion as terrible as this address to Mr president and the official football body. It's more disgusting for media to broadcast and push it public domain.

I don't care whether home or foreign coach as long as they are giving us positive results. Eric Chelle so far is not doing bad and I see no reason why someone should be calling for his dismissal simply because he's not a Nigerian. That's a very wacky reason tbh.

At this point, sacking Eric Chelle should not be the best resolution by NFF if it happens to be true; otherwise, rumours such as these are quick to circulate around, which are unfounded. I must say that he, as a coach, did very well, irrespective of the early beginning saga and challenges he encountered as the new coach of the team, which we all know is the normal thing whenever a new coach takes over a team for the first time but it is clear we now see his expertise and we already know where the problem of the team and is coming from.  What I will advise is for the NFF to maintain this coach because they would not be able to see any one of this kind, and it would be best for the team so that they would be stable rather than shaking always as a result of new coaches who come wth their own different football pattern maing the players to start a freh leaf with them and their patterns.

Their is nothing to speculate here, Eric chelle has turn down a better offer from the Tunisian football federation, not because the offer wasn't good enough, but because he felt love here and the Nigerian national team gave him the perfect platform to showcase his coaching skills. He knows that he stands a better chance of doing well with our super eagles than the offer that came, but it would be sad and regrettable from our nff if Eric chelle was sacked at this point considering now the team are getting to know how to play free flow attacking football under his leadership, it would just be like starting all over again, which is like taking three step backward.

Well, it has always been that way even when they had Stephen Keshi there were many people against him even after winning the AFCON he was later sacked. NFF politics didn't start today and they have always been political in their appointments and largely influenced by interests. For me, Eric Chelle have not performed too bad to deserve a sack so he should be allowed to have more time to give the super eagles the title they deserve. His ball pattern was excellent in the just concluded AFCON and it's been long we watched Super eagles play that way.

Things like this are why racism will always continue, because we often complained about it when it comes to our own turn to feel the same taste of what it looks like, am sure this is not the first time that we are going to be onboarding a foreign national as coach, then why all these, when we are expected to be more conscious of what they can deliver than where they came from, which one do we prefer?.

I believe the rumors won't happen. More ears have gotten the information, still considering the decision to sack Eric Chelle will cost much problem that the NFF can't contain. It won't be just Nigerians calling the NFF, I believe the players will not be happy with the decision, when players are unhappy, the performance will certainly hit rock bottom.

The NFF are so much to be blamed there were managers who were obviously not doing well because we have the squad to qualify with ease no matter the group just like the last time before this where we missed the world cup.

To be honest, like you said the disappointment is knowing fully well that our own very Nation won't be available for this year world cup for a consecutive world cup, and this is shameful. Hopefully this put pressure on NFF and things are done better including how players are being selected.
