There are three goalkeepers i rate very high in the AFCON tournament and Nwabali is definitely one of them. Senegalese keeper Mendy, Moroccan keeper Bounou and Nwabali. The Super Eagles is blessed to have someone like him, we should be happy that age is still by his side and before he'll get very closer to retirement we should've scouted a good goalkeeper that would replace him. I doubt if no European clubs would be interested in him.

Nwabali is almost like Nigerian past goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama, the only difference is that Nwabali hasn't played the world cup so that we can see how he will perform there. As for the AFCON tournament, i rate the Moroccan goalkeeper as the best. If you watch the AFCON matches you will understand what i'm talking about. The Senegalese goalkeeper also performed better than Nigerian goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali. During the first 3 matches of Nigeria, Nwabali conceded cheap goals which was as a result of his carelessness. As a professional goalkeeper, those goals should have been avoided. However, i still give regards to Stanley Nwabali because since he came to limelight, he has proven to be the best keeper for Nigeria after Vincent Enyeama.

Good news coming in for Nwabali following his resignation from Chippa, South African Giant 'Kaizer Chief' is considering to take a fresh breath from the Appendix surgery of their first choice goal Keeper - Peterson, by adding Nwabali to the team, after losing 3:0 to Orlando pirates as a result of Petersen's absence. Hopefully this works out pretty fine for the free agent, to improve his playing time.

In my opinion, Nwabali is one of the top goalies in Africa. He’s miles better than Onana. What Nwabali needs is good PR, I’d suggest he hires a better agent that can push his career to the next level. He’s got the skill and experience to break into European football, even if it is just a start in championship level. That’s way better than shuffling between South African clubs.

But why is no one talking about the fact that no team would love to keep an arrogant person in the goal post because a single act of arrogance can ruin the entire game. I love Nwabali so much but then I wasn't surprised that he is now without club. Nwabali is far better than Many keepers out there in Europe. In as much as he needs to get a good agent, he definitely needs to get a coach who would focus on character and arrogance. He has made several mistakes that led to conceding goals in a game that was meant to be a clean sheet for the super eagles.

I was thinking he could fall back to Enyimba FC after their initial interest but then it couldn't work. If he gets a team soon, maybe he would return to his place as the number keeper for the super eagles.

If the reason why they dropped Nwabali from the number one position that he occupies was due to the fact he doesn't have a Club at the moment, then that's not right, regardless of the fact that he doesn't have a club he is very fit and still in shape and is still training, at best what you can do as a coach is to not play him on a regular basis until he sees a club but dropping him from the number one position is too drastic for a decision. Players have different characters and you don't expect each player to behave the same, that is why as a coach you should be able to manage everybody's character and know where to please them and fix them right.

Yes Nwabali did concede those small goals but in terms of professionalism he didn't concede what has not been conceded before from professional that's more than him, I have watch how a goalkeeper that's keeping for one of the prominent club had a ball he was supposed to give his defense or send it out but decided he wants to show another skill and get more hype from the crowd but his little mistake from their had made his club to concede, but although you are right about Nwabali but definitely he would learn and exit himself from some of those mistakes after he had Successful moved to Europe.

Let be sincere with ourselves, Nigeria does not deserve to play in the world cup this year after everything that happened in the qualifying match right from the group stage until we exit the qualifying round. I quite agree with you with the three goalkeepers you rate very high in the African Cup of Nations because those goalkeepers you mentioned performed extremely well in the African Cup of Nations. The Super Eagles has always been blessed with good goalkeepers, so I believe there will be a good goalkeeper that would replace Nwabali when it's time for him to retire from football. Queens Park Rangers and a club in the Turkish league were Interested in Nwabali.

This has being the new reality we just have to get used to because our NFF is just gambling with our football, by employing cheap and incompetent managers to manage our Super Eagles team, which we all see the improvement in the way we play once Eric Chelle was hired as the Super Eagles head coach.

What I heard is that Fifa is monitoring the situation closely if they can reschedule Iran games to either mexico or Canada, just in case they didn't pull out of the world cup competition coming up.

Nwabali have done well in most matches in the just concluded afcon and other games that the supper eagle's have played this recent time, and is going to be really out of place for anyone to open up a discrediting statement for the foal keeper and for sure he definitely going to move to European clubs in his next deal regardless of his age since 29 is not a disqualification for his entry intizthe European football space.

Has nothing been said about interest of a club for the player? His representatives are saying he is not in a hurry to make any move, but i think age is catching up as well, despite him being actively training, he needs to find a club with a playing time, i hope his agent will hurry up and find a better club ready to take him in, Nwabali is a goalkeeper that deserves trials in a better league.

Considering the recent talks around his age, I am sure that his agent won't waste too much time to seal any deal that come up for the goal keeper since Europe club's have shown some interest but with unclear discussion path that have left many fan out of information and just speculation about their fav next bug club destination, just hope his moves to European football get sealed as soon as possible.

That’s exactly what I’m saying but I’m not suggesting he should quit the South African league either. It just bothers me that he might never get to play in the big leagues despite his quality. I agree with you, the war is not being fought in America it is just a regional war that is within Iran and it's neighbors, and just like you said I don't think Iran has the capability of sending missiles directly into America, however whenever a World Cup is being played, is more like a stand still during war times, as is a competition that brings the world together and everybody in every part of the world watches the World cup. Indeed, Stanley Nwanbali is a very talented goalkeeper, probably the best replacement for the former shot stopper of the super eagles, Vincent Enyeama, am sure quite a handful of European clubs would be interested in him once he indicates interest in playing in Europe, and I also agree with your pick regarding the best goalkeepers in the continent but I also believe that there are so many other fine goalkeepers whom we do not know of who play for clubs in Africa especially in the CAF champions league, now this is because we do not pay much attention to these players as much as we do to European based players.

Yes it can't have an effect on the tournament because those countries that's going to be the host are not from this region fighting and even if the United States has a hand in all of this war and bombing I don't think they can receive an attack from any countries that's fighting because they are too strong, so actually the world Cup is going to be fine but however if there is anything worried is going to be the national team of this countries fighting if they are going to come to the world Cup especially Iran that has been getting a lot of bombing and they have world cup at hand so perhaps their national team will relocate to another country for preparation but the country support will be low since a lot of people might have already flee because of the war. You can't predict how a war would last because we don't no if the both side is being supplied with more weapons, so even if the fight still last till then their world cup is holding.

Stanley Nwabali not getting a new club after he ended his contract with Chippa United on mutual consent is making me believe the offers his agent said they received from different clubs to be all lies because if it's true that they had a lot of offers on the table then what is stopping them to figure out the offer Stanley Nwabali will accept. Since you don't know the actual reason why Stanley Nwabali quit playing in South African league, you shouldn't blame him for quitting playing in South African league.

I have checked on this topic several times even before now and this has always been the outcome. There's nothing super eagles can do about it anymore and they just have to accept their fate. There's no point trying to enter through the backdoor afterall they had equal opportunities but they chose to misuse the opportunity. Congo is in for the playoffs and super eagles can wait for 4 years time. It will be unfair to DR Congo if it is done, even though the rule will always be the rules.
