Cool stuff! Sounds like an interesting project. You have our support Just a thought: maybe you should consider using a format that's easier to update than a (e)book. Development in altcoins progresses so fast.. it'll probably need frequent updates. Maybe use a CMS which can compile an updated PDF on the fly? Good luck! I will worry about the publishing of the book until I have gathered all the information together. Thank you for your support. I have just started to read through the SAT bitcointalk threads (I am aware of two official thread. Please say if there are more than 2) I plan to publish the book this summer with enough funding behind it.

What is the best pool please?
The pools are specified in the OP. In general we recommend to use at least 2 different pools (or a pool and a local wallet), in a failover configuration. This makes sure that if a pool (or the connectivity of your wallet) has any trouble, you automatically failover to an active pool (or wallet).

Anyone see the '51% attack for Saturn' comment on Mintpal's SAT /BTC exchange? Was that real, or just a big pool that threw an alarm in their monitoring?

Transfer must happen on exchanges as written on original Ann, move your coins to Mintpal for example and they'll do the move/cut to SAT² can coins be transferred from the old wallet to the new wallet?

I have some questions
I did some solo mining this morning into the old wallet and tried to transfer some of those coins to mintpal and some to cryptsy - it's been about 5 hours and none of them have shown up yet... are they lost?
then I installed the new wallet on another machine and solo mined into that wallet - will those coins transfer to mintpal or cryptsy?
which wallet should I solo mine into and will either one or both transfer the coins into the two exchanges mentioned here...
thanks
update: I just got an answer to one of my questions. I did a test transfer from the new wallet to mintpal and the coins did show up. but that I transferred from the old wallet this morning have not shown up yet.
still looking for answer to my old coins and wallet.
but mintpal is saying 999 confirmations required before the deposit is valid - isn'T that somewhat excessive IN THE EXTREME!

jjj0923........... MINTPAL DEPOSITSPlease note that Mintpal currently requires deposits to be manually approved by their admins before they will be credited to your account. This is an additional security measure they are implementing alongside the 999 confirmations requirement. The reason they are implementing this, is because Mintpal has been targetted by attacks numerous times. This basically means that scammers are attempting to deposit non-existing coins. As you can imagine; if they would successfully be able to do so, and subsequently withdraw real coins before their admins have spotted the attempt, that could have serious financial consequences for Mintpal. To reduce the chances of this happening, they have implemented this procedure for the time being. What this means is that you have to account for the fact that deposits to Mintpal are currently very slow. Please make sure to keep this in mind. If you require any support with a Mintpal deposit, please make sure to contact Mintpal Support.

From the sat2 site: To make it the ideal currency for sellers, specific kinds of informations related to transaction or people/entities involved will be stored in the blockchain, depending on what sellers need to be sure about safety of a transactions, and what sellers are willing to share. Does this means optional Anon ?

I am afraid that the current VOLUME growth and PRICE increase of "Cryptcoin" will put a dint on the imminent Saturn 2 launch. It is disappointing...... for whatever reason the developers have chosen to go down a certain path and while many things are commendable, it just leaves the door wide open for all the others while Saturn is 'on pause'. I am still a believer in Saturn......... but you cant ignore the market completely either. Darkcoin and Cryptcoin and some others have been getting some detailed reviews and good volume over different days...... the marketing aggression from Saturn to become the 'Bronze' is just lacking and not consistent.... and I cant see how this will just magically appear once SAT2 goes live........ SAT Dev cant even commit to anonymous / tumbled / coinjoin / crypto transaction function............. we need more from Dev and in a hurry........... PS: http://www.reddit.com/r/CryptCoin/comments/28e8be/securityanalysisofcryptcoinscryptcast_feature/Clearly not all is 100% with Cryptcoin......... like all the other coins, it is still emerging and constantly improving......... but the community and forum momentum it gathered in such a short time was what most on this forum was expected and hoped for Saturn (again, so close to the SAT2 launch date).......

Good devs don't have the time to post everything they're working on all day. Just buy and hold at this levels. I mean, 3 (000) sats for a 7.7M coin? And good devs don't go with hypes that die out in a week. That whole anonymous hype is ridiculous. Do you really want a dev to implement every hype so you can get a quick buck out of it?

Man you're fun of 'not carefully reading'. MintPal clearly states the reason why it takes 999 confirmations; NOTICE: Please be aware that SAT deposits require 999 confirms and are currently being processed manually due to 51% attacks on the blockchain
