Mining started a few days ago (Scrypt). I have a nice pile already.

The rest of the conversion is tomorrow - for the SAT, but we have to mine for a few weeks to keep the blockchain moving.

How exactly can you change old sat into new sat anyway? Devs have the power to make money out of thin air?

It will be launched on 30th June 2014, converting automatically all existing old SAT coins into the new SAT² currency.

The change will be completely transparent for users, that will have their SAT moved to SAT² and ready for new market.

That doesn't tell me anything.  There are coins from a new blockchain now.  How can you put more coins in than aren't created yet by proof of work or proof of stake.  I don't understand how this is possible. Unless the devs are mining and going to give those coins to people...

Where do we think the price will settle?

Somewhere between 3000 and 5000 Satoshi in the short term.  A little higher if the transition is smooth.

If the dev team keeps working and communicating, I can see us creeping up to 12,000, maybe even 15,000 over the next few weeks. Longer term, it's really a function of innovative development, adoption of the coin, etc.

This all assumes none of the P&D groups hit the coin. If they do, all bets are off. Could go to 60,70k overnight, and crash down to 1000 or lower just as quickly.

Needless to say that I mined about 20-30 Milions at the beginning when everybody
called me nuts.But I stayed with this coin up till now,and I held it when it was at 1satoshi
and I WILL NOT sell it before 25-30sat bcs I made it with similar coins in the past,like doge
and i know that this coin has similar if not bigger potential.
Just look how misteriosly sats are disappearing and you will know it
for yourself!

Nice to see how supportive the community can be.
That is the main reason I stayed with this coin!
Could have made money till now with some other coin

Yes, Cryptsy has confirmed again (today) that they will take part in the transition. The specifics will be announced shortly. As you can imagine it is quite an operation to streamline this with the various exchanges and we have to make sure this simply gets done right. Once we have the specifics we will share the info rightaway.
