Did this actually make sense to whoever came up with this post when they were typing it? In 7 days and no notification was sent to all your users? You just came to dump the post here on Bitcointalk so that when someone comes out to complain later you’ll use this as an excuse not to pay them their money or what?

They were probably trolling or something like that. I have seen this before with exit scammers
They were never going to do anything to get back people's funds, especially when they put that website offline.

We are now progressing to the next phase of our refund process by opening a 30-day window. During this period, any user with a balance on our platform can initiate a withdrawal request.

It’s definitely trolling because there’s no PR who’s in the right state of mind that would make such a post and then expect a positive reaction towards it. I’m currently picturing the people behind the post saying “since we’re done, let’s just make something like this and laugh over their reactions” because there’s no way they’d be expecting a warm welcome because of an unrealistic promise they made.

Betnomi!! That rings a bell. I think the representative back then was the one who mentioned that gamblers who win all the time are not good for the business and they usually limit or block them for that reason. The case was quite interesting back then. I came late to Betmoco’s own.

I did a quick research and I agree with Haunebu that there don’t seem to be many similarities between betmoco and bet5 (different designs/templates, different domain registration info...). However, this doesn’t necessarily mean they are not related or operated by the same person.
Betmoco will certainly come back under a new name (if they haven’t already done so).
Bet5 is still a new casino, so it’s better to remain cautious until they gain some trust and build a solid reputation before depositing large amounts. Better safe than sorry!

Yes, they can come back in this community with similar or with another name and still go and try to scam again. So right now the community should be attentive of any new casino specially if it run a signature campaign and hire a manager that hasn't had that experience (I'm not blaming him though for accepting the job).

So if there are gamblers that might be depositing huge amount of that new name casino, then don't, don't get attracted with new offers or whatever enticing promotions they have as they could been setting traps.

They could probably be running another scam by now. They are definitely not coming back.

Although I didn't play his game, I wanted to bring up this thread of betmoco so that it remains in front of us and does not go down. He did a very wrong thing and got his promotion done for free. Although it cannot be that the country of this forum terminates his account so that he does not come to mislead us anymore and these people do not get angry.

Repeat and rinse , and this is the unfortunate part about cryptocurrecies...maybe we need to be smarter to avoid such from happening as escrows are neither fool proof because if Escrow is less than amount held by the platform.. this implies it's a successful operation and and escrow was their leverage..otherwise this needs an airtight solution.

I hope you do not have money left in Betmoco, because I doubt you'll get them back.

If months or years later, the website is on again or email sent to victims for refund, let's be careful. It's definitely another honey pot used by scammer team for trying to scam more money from people who already lost money to Betmoco.

This double scam methods used by scammers of centralized exchanges or hackers too.

It can be a coincidence or it can be actually from their favorite business name choice.

I hope that if it is their favorite naming way, your post won't make them changing anything for their next scam casinos. This insight can be useful for feeling and maintaining our carefulness and caution with new casinos launched with Bet in their business names.

Then you will have to be extremely vigilant all the time, because it seems that half of the casinos and 80% of the betting websites have 'Bet' in their name.

Oh, they are definitely running a new scam by now, but they won't commit the mistake of coming here again now we are on alert and with the heads up about scams and fake casinos.
They managed to get several thousands of dollars in digital assets, the did not get enough money to retire and live in some private island, that quantity of money they stole will eventually run out, so they will come back to gambling communities in order to scam more people and with bigger quantities of money.

Anyways... they fooled us, they humiliated us and finally, they exit scammed our community.
The best thing we can do right now it is not get fooled again and be very careful with new casinos which come around here promising more than they can actually deliver with crazy bonuses and also being non-kyc and allegedly also fully regulated and licensed.
