I have 10 x grid Core 2 duo + 5 cards 795 or 5 cards 270x.
With CPU core 2 duo speed for 5 cards is very slow.
But with Celeron G Generation 2, 3 is good speed for 6 cards.
Claymore, please review and optimize this case for next version.
Thanks very much.

What about "-ss 2" option? Is it not enough?

I'm using -ss 2, if <3 card it's ok but 5 cards slower, can I use other option?
I think core2duo too slow. I use -ss 2 -t 8 for 2*280x on core2duo
but Athlone 2 270x handle 6*280x

I know core 2 duo too slow, so I ask Claymore for optimize it because I have 10 x grid [core2duo, 4G RAM, 5 X 270) Sad

Ok, I will add -ss 3 option.

What is the actual difference between -ss 0-2? I just use default and have never thought about it. Do I miss out on prime-power?

All this is really bad for the coin itself (but who cares actually) as it will certainly be the reason why it will never get the success bitcoin has.
(full acceptance of a 10% fee coins will hopefully never happened... for that matter any fiat currency "driven by corrupt bankers" (lol) is still better)
How does it differ from paying "10% fee" for bitcoin ASICs?

the difference is that for energy bound coins (sha256, scrypt, etc), the rich get richer.
technology bound coins (primes, like xpm and ric), the clever get richer.

Sure, developing an ASIC is a no-brainer, no technology reqiured at all.

Was it the phrasing that confuses you? or because you are too busy with the next update? pool or speed?

I for one am ready to agree. Cause I just got 1 XPM richer which means I'm clever I guess Smiley

Claymore, tell us, why are u supporting ypool? It obvious that ypool is stealing from us. Why not making your own pool?

Yeah, Claymore, make your own pool so the guys stopped crying about ypool. And started crying foul that Claymore's pool is stealing from them. At least that would be something new.

At what speed do you run your cards (especially 280x)?

280X 1175/750 -ss 2 -t 8

hello, can I ask how did you do that?
I can set gpu engine to 1100mhz and memclock to 950mhz
or 1000/850, so maximum what i can do is 150mhz difference between engine/memclock,
when I try e.g. 1100/800, memclock will set to default.
you've got difference 425mhz
what kind of tuning SW, are you using, did you flash a bios or something, to allow this difference?

I use MSIAfterburner300Beta19, it is very large intervals settings.

thank you, msi afterburner did not work for me, but sapphire trixx did

This is my signature...

Major improvement in invalid shares from v6 to v7. Got about 8% invalids in 100hours on v6. Down to 1% in v7.

I usually connect to 20+ nodes. Now that I'm running Claymore's solo miner, I have't seen the node count go above 9. It appears to me that the node issue is tied with this miner. Did this issue ever get resolved?

My node count rises to 20+ (with the miner running) then steadily falls to 8 within 24 hours then never rises again...  Undecided

Hate to bring this up, but madMAx has release the XPM gpu miner as open source now: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=602292.0 .

v8 will be released in a few hours, I'm testing it.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.
