Things are in disarray because MHK president has resigned and some referees are in custody. And league matches are about to resume. In light of this, the federation announced this week that referee assignments for the matches will be made by foreign referee directors. We already knew that assignments weren't made by lottery. Maybe this will be for the best. Of course the question is whether the federation still has any competent referees left who can handle this job properly. That's up to debate. In a system where those who deserve to referee are prevented from doing so, a shadow is cast over all referees who take on these duties.

In my opinion, Beşiktaş should have had much better odds. I believe they have a better chance than Fenerbahçe for the remainder of the season. Fenerbahçe hasn't yet managed to gel as a squad, whereas Beşiktaş is on the verge of writing a real success story with its manager and players. Of course, theyve had some unwanted results, but that will likely serve as a catalyst to fire up the team. Considering that Fenerbahçe is also likely to struggle in the Champions League, I think there is a real possibility that Beşiktaş could end up in a better position in the league.
I believe that the only difference we can notice between Besiktas and Fenerbahce is the fact that Besiktas has a more competent coach, who knows how to take the team and make it play the way he wants, while Fenerbahce has an excellent team provided to them by the club during the summer transfer window, but a coach who is not able to put them on the pitch.

Even though it seems like Besiktas is doing better now but we still can't write off Fenerbahce behind Besiktas since we know that they also have the resources to perform Very well if properly managed. Their last transfer signings must have boosted their stands and shouythey perform as expected, then they may finish close to first. It's still too early to think that Besiktas will have a better season than Fenerbahce since even Amedspor can not be seen as favourites just because of their performance so far and their current position.
If Besiktas can be consistent for at least until second half of the season, then their odds will drop and they will become better option. I think that Fenerbahce will bounce back based on their performance last season. I still stand with Fenerbahce ahead until Besiktas if the resources they have can start displaying the way they should.
Fenerbahce is a historic team that certainly has the resources to be able to strengthen its squad in an even more significant way. But is not enough to buy strong players to expect the game to improve. we also need a coach capable of making the team play to its full potential.

What do you mean by who are slightly underdogs, are you trying to say that Barcelona are underdogs against Galatasaray, how is it possible that Barcelona are underdog against Galatasaray that is a very difficult thing to understand, I dont think Galatasaray sold any important players the problem with Galatasaray is that theyre fighting with teams that have stepped up with their own performances by bringing new players, other teams are now looking serious to challenge Galatasaray in the League, there is no dull moment for them, Osimhen is always injured so I dont know if that helps Galatasaray because it seems like whenever he is injured the team always struggle because they dont have a good replacement for him in the team.
I think if Barcelona played at home against Galatasaray, it would really teach them a lesson in humility. Because this Galatasaray is currently the same as last year, without major changes, which can play a good match, but which certainly does not have the same qualities that Flick's Barcelona has, which is really devastating in the league at the moment.

International matches for Turkey concluded yesterday. League play will resume from where it left off starting Friday. The head of the Central Referee Board (MHK) has been arrested. How will referee appointments be handled? Active referee Yasin Kol is among those arrested. There was already a lack of trust in referees; after this, there will be none at all. It appears Turkish football is heading toward chaos. The TFF president has not yet resigned. Many on social media are calling for the TFF president's resignation, but the clubs have not yet issued such a call.
When such major twists emerge from those who should guarantee its effective regularity, then the possibility of canceling the championship and restarting it should really be taken into consideration, because any points are already penalizing the teams.

I don't think either player is particularly concerned about Galatasaray. No club in Europe would pay the kind of money Galatasaray does; if they earned the same salaries in Europe, they wouldn't have come to Türkiye. Both of them earn very high wages, and Turkey is also very generous regarding taxes. Why would they push themselves in league matches? They play well in the Champions League, though they do step up in certain matches in Türkiye as well. If there is any player who could compete with them for a spot, it would be Yunus Akgün. Their places in the team are practically guaranteed anyway.
Galatasaray is a team that, even in the Champions League, has always managed to be a formidable opponent and at times more convincing than many other teams. In the championship this year they had a more convincing start, we can say, compared to other teams that i would have seen and imagined would have started better.

I have not seen Galatasaray as an unstoppable team in the Champions League so far, their performance in the Champions League is very ordinary as always. We have to admit that Galatasaray dominates the Turkish league, but they are still a very ordinary team in the Champions League. Galatasaray works as a free point team for big teams, beating Galatasaray is still a very easy task for big teams. I do not know how their performance will be this season, but I do not think it will be anything special. I see Galatasaray as a threat to it in the Turkish league this season, Fenerbahçe or Trabzonspor may surprise them this season.

I see Galatasaray as a threat to it in the Turkish league this season, Fenerbahçe or Trabzonspor may surprise them this season. Galatasaray eliminated Juventus in the Champions League last season. I don’t think such an achievement can be dismissed as ordinary. Of course, they’re not a team capable of dominating the Champions League, but they’re a strong team that adds excitement to the competition. Plus, they have a very passionate fan base in Istanbul. You can be sure that even PSG wouldn’t have an easy time there... I think they’ll win the league this season, and the main reason for my belief is that they’re a more established team compared to the others. Other teams make 10–15 transfers every season and start the league with a new squad. Galatasaray has a settled squad, enters the season with just a few good signings, and plays with virtually the same tactics under the same head coach every year. While other teams are in the midst of rebuilding, they’re simply focused on improving their form...

Looking at the referees assigned to the matches, I noticed that those who previously officiated matches with major problems and rumors of favoring certain teams are now officiating smaller teams. I think this system will probably be fairer, at least it will prevent obvious match-fixing. They might no longer be able to wage a war against Beşiktaş

Looking at the referees assigned to the matches, I noticed that those who previously officiated matches with major problems and rumors of favoring certain teams are now officiating smaller teams. HUM has been assigned to Galatasaray match. There aren't any high profile referees in other matches. I think the Big 3 will get through this week unscathed. Their matches are relatively easy. It would be quite normal for Beşiktaş to beat Kocaelispor and for Galatasaray to beat Kasımpaşa at home. Fenerbahçe will also be playing away at Rize, where they generally don't have any trouble. They've shown significant dominance against Rizespor in recent years. Maybe we won't talk much about the referees this week, but if there are any potential point losses, we'll definitely be talking about them again soon.

What Galatasaray has and what other teams like Besiktas and Fenerbahçe lack is belief, because Galatasaray, being the team that has achieved better results for the longest time, even in terms of championships won, has that confidence and certainty in the way of playing that the other teams lack. And this is what makes the difference for Galatasaray and gives them more points.
Not any more, this season will be different. I see competition from some other teams. Galatasaray has been dominant for seasons, but this season will not be easy, because Besiktas and Fenerbahçe are looking very strong. Although both teams didn't start the season strong, but with the calibre of players they have, I think they can compete with Galatasaray this season.

Galatasaray might not win the league this season, their performance isn't looking sharp enough for me. The competition is looking very serious, at the same time, Galatasaray are falling short in many things, Galatasaray lacks a good defense, and winning any of their matches without their main striker becomes an issue. I am happy to see that Osimhen is partially back in the team, i do hope he gets minutes in the game tomorrow against Kasımpaşa S.K.

After a long international break, league action resumes today. Galatasaray will face Kasımpaşa at home. Kasımpaşa is currently the only unbeaten team in the league. While Osimhen has started training with the squad, I am unsure if Okan Buruk will risk playing him, given the upcoming Champions League match against Barcelona next week. It is also unclear whether Sallai will play in this match. I believe the Barcelona match is the one that truly matters for Galatasaray. Had Galatasaray been playing away, they might not have beaten Kasımpaşa; however, since they are playing at home, I expect Galatasaray to secure a win, albeit a difficult one.

I think their squad is still somehow ok for now, and i believe the coach knows what he want if he wanted more players to be added to the squad he'll inform the board that this is what he want. For now Galatasaray is still the top team in Turkish super league, they've won the league back to back now they can still be the club to win this season, i understand that Beșiktaș are in a good form right but I'm not yet convinced if they stopped Galatasaray from winning the league this very season.

And this is what makes the difference for Galatasaray and gives them more points. I don't think you follow the Turkish league very closely. This isn't just a matter of belief. Right now, the head of the Central Referee Board (MHK) is under arrest. An active referee named Yasin Kol is also under arrest. I suggest you look into why these individuals were arrested. We often say that referees are human and make mistakes, but when a referee's errors end up benefiting a specific team, it ceases to be merely a matter of belief.

I believe the Barcelona match is the one that truly matters for Galatasaray. I think this match is more important than Barcelona game. 3 points against Kasımpaşa worth more, Galatasaray have no chance against Barca anyway. Even if a miracle happens and they get point against Barca, do you think they prefer that over a point loss against Kasımpaşa? They've already lost the lead, they can't afford to lose any more points. I don't expect much rotation. The focus should be on this game. One game at a time, big clubs would do that.

I agree with you; more attention should be given to their game against Kasimpasa because I doubt if this current Barcelona squad would give them that opportunity to win that game, though that shouldn't stop them from getting well prepared for their match against Barcelona, but attention should be given to where it matters, which is picking up the 3 points and getting their morale boosted to go face Barcelona.

After a long international break, league action resumes today.
Yes, this is the moment that bettors and football fans have been waiting for in the 2026/27 Turkish Super League, after completing Week 6, finally on October 10 2026 the 2026/27 Turkish Super League (Süper Lig) season returned to action, What's interesting about the opening of the 7th week of the Turkish league is that they brought together Galatasaray vs. Kasımpaşa and next Gençlerbirliği vs. Amed Sportif Faliyetler next Samsunspor vs Trabzonspor. What is interesting to me is the Amed Sportif club, I consider Amed Sportif to be the top club in the Turkish league at the moment and I placed several bets on this club with positive results and also on the Galatasaray club.

I don’t think Galatasaray actually face that much competition this season, Fenerbahce have had a slightly worse start to the campaign, although they aren’t that far behind Galatasaray. Besiktas are a little closer, but I still think Galatasaray remain the favourites to win the title this season. By the way Osimhen might not play today’s match. I was also surprised by Galatasaray’s recent defeat to Trabzonspor. Kasimpasa, by the way have been on a very long unbeaten run, but I think Galatasaray are capable of bringing that run to an end today.

Osimhen most likely won't play today; club doctor Yener İnce stated recently that they do not want to risk either Sallai or Osimhen. Osimhen's injury has been prolonged, but the international break turned out to be a great stroke of luck for Galatasaray. Even though Galatasaray is playing at home today, the fact that Kasımpaşa remains unbeaten in the league suggests this will be a tough match for Galatasaray. Given the current climate of negativity surrounding referees, I am curious to see what kind of performance today's referee, Halil Umut Meler, will deliver.

More league defeats will leave Galatasaray finding it difficult to dominate the league this season so a win at home against Kasımpaşa should be considered more important than the game against Barcelona. Nobody knows what they prefer now because the league is still new they can drop points and still come back to reclaim their top position but in the champions League if they do not gather enough points it may need them to play playoff for them to qualify. Galatasaray against Barcelona a miracle will not save them the defeat due to the current form of Barcelona in my own opinion they should secure the 3 point in the league then get ready to fight Barcelona to see if they can secure a draw since they will be home. A win today can give them morale boost to play Barcelona they need three points today.
