If something like this happens, things will end drastically, and it's not worth letting a global event end because of corrupt officials. It makes no sense because without UEFA, absolutely everything collapses.

I don't think it's fair that a World Cup should be canceled because evil can't always triumph. I understand that many are outraged, but the FIFA organization must be above anyone who has mismanaged it. It's a shame how things have come to this.

Yes, it is an organization that has been managing football for decades. Consequently, it would be a real shame if everything could be ruined due to officials who do not know how to do their job or who do it as they are most comfortable. These are things that unfortunately people hate, especially when they are deprived of one of the few things they can rely on, namely football and their own team to support.

Situations like these might please sponsors or certain corporations, but they certainly didn't sit well with viewers like us.
As long as Infantino remains in charge, such nonsense will continue.

Infantino is undoubtedly a president who doesn't even need to demonstrate how treacherous and corrupt he is, because this can already be seen very well, so much so that many national teams have decided to cancel the support given to him for the new renewal as president.
I hope he resigns and stops.

It may be  the USA was the host country of FIFA, So Trump has taken an additional advantage. Where Trump should not have give attention about such issues or requested the FIFA president. Behind many incidents in this world cup, there were various political issues related to it. That is why there was so much negative criticism about the last world cup. Which may not have happened with any world cup in the past. And the FIFA president is being blamed for all these incidents, which really has enough logic behind it. Because he should have made a fair decision in all cases. But he may not have been able to do it due to various pressures. If Infantino loses in the next FIFA president election, then maybe the 2030 world cup will be seen in a slightly different way in the future. This is the intention of most viewers. But if the new president is elected, how honest he will be is also a matter of consideration. But I want the football to not be influenced by any politics or economy, whoever the president comes.

I think that Trump is a president who simply made a fool of himself, because no other president would allow himself to do what he did. It's something about football and the sport of football. Even though your country is the host country, you can inaugurate the tournament, but you can't afford to make controversies about things that don't concern you, especially when you are a president and have something else to worry about.

I don't understand why a striker and a winger are compared? Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are two different types of players, instead of creating a competition between these players, it is better to enjoy their games and achievements. Both are legends and their names will be at the top of the list of the best players of all time.
But if we look at the achievements, then Messi is still much ahead of Ronaldo. In terms of personal achievements and team achievements, Messi is ahead. So we cannot deny Ronaldo's achievements or we cannot deny Messi's achievements by recognizing Ronaldo's achievements. Both of them deserve respect, so it would be better to respect both of them.

Lionel Messi is not only a Winger but he plays in different position on their forward, he has also played as a midfielder but however the both players fans will always have a different opinion between them because of what they want to prove, actually even if one of them is the best it wouldn't change the fact that their both career is important to everyone, both players have done what non other players have done currently so we shouldn't be biased to discriminate one in other to favour the second person and besides I like the way they respect each other's considering their intensity between themselves from the beginning.

Hel no way.....
Is really Kilyan will surpas them....

This is just a partial shade like Kilyan Mbappe is only a trend players and definitely with passage of time he will also be stand in good players line. Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo is out of this world no one can near to their level weather it's in past or in current.

I think you still feel that Kilyan is 18 or 19 but let me tell you that Kilyan Mbappe is 27 and in December he will got 28. So still he didn't won any thing like Messi or Ronaldo. I know he has only World Cup but still he didn't have any UEFA champions league title or even Balloon d'Or.

Wait one more question. Did U know when Messi was 27 how many Balloon d'Or or golden shoes or even UCL title he was...

Many talk about Maradona, Pelé, others talk about Lahmin Yamal or Mbappé. But none of these players here will come even remotely close to the greatness achieved by two legends like Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi, who delighted the entire world with a sporting rivalry that lasted for more than twenty years. This will never happen again and that's what makes it even more special.

Ronaldo and Messi, who delighted the entire world with a sporting rivalry that lasted for more than twenty years.

"MORE THAN TWENTY YEARS"?? What the hell are you talking about?

Ronaldo won his first Ballon d'Or in 2008 (Messi did a year later, in 2009) and in 2022 he left European football. That's 14 years at best.

Messi hasn't played on elite level since leaving Barcelona in 2021, so that's even less for him.

Mbappe is already playing 9th season in a row on elite level btw...

He is wrong for saying both dominated for over 20 years but that doesn't mean they are not the greatest of all in the world of football for now. With the records both had in football, it will be very difficult for another set to overtake them in all areas.
During the time of Pele, Maradona and so on. They had a wonderful moments which football history cannot erase in a hurry and same also will another set dominates when there turn comes to do so, but with the kind of football I see in the players now, i don't think they can do what the greatest legends of football have already done so far. If we to expect such performance,  it will be from the players yet unknown because the lights of Ronaldo and Messi have covered them all.

Just by watching folk tales and some YouTube videos, we can never say that Infantino is a bad president or that Infantino is involved in corruption. Because the things we are talking about and thinking that Infantino has committed corruption, if we watch the matches a little better and if we don't hate Argentina, maybe we can see the truth. Yes, several decisions have been taken during this World Cup which may seem that Infantino was involved in corruption. What I want to say is that without blaming Infantino or criticizing him, if an investigation committee is formed and if something comes out during the investigation, then action should definitely be taken against him.

The worse I’ve seen from Infantino which is public alliance and continuous hobnobbing with Donald Trump who is the president of the United States especially starting from after the USA won the World Cup 2026 co-host bid and afterwards we’ve seen several occasions where Infantino will visit Trump frequently at the White House. Aside from such occasions, we have seen Infantino to have publicly called Trump his great friend at the Davos economic summit in 2020 despite the talks around the controversial peace prize which was handed over to Trump at the inaugural FiFa event. Then the topical controversy around the reversal of the suspension decision which was announced against the US striker Balogun during the competition. Such leaders who are in position of global organizations such as FIFA are not expected to be affiliated with presidents or other politicians as it pose the threat against the credibility of decisions made by FIFA and beyond.

Sports have already started to be influenced by politics, however, within the FIFA organization itself, they carry out their own form of politics.
Indeed, big institutions related to sports, health, or human rights should not be influenced by political behavior. But basically, everything is indeed inseparable from politics.
FIFA also receives a lot of criticism, but without evidence of interference, who can punish them? I think that can only happen after their tenure in FIFA ends.

Therefore, if we placed Pelé to play nowadays or the current players to play in the past, their performances would be much different. Exactly. Back in Pelé's day, football was practically amateur. The teams were terrible, the physical conditioning was bad, and tactical systems were virtually non-existent. However, I do consider Pelé a great player, but calling him the greatest of all time is a complete stretch. For instance, I think Maradona was much better, or even Ronaldo Nazário (the Phenomenon). But Messi stands above all of them, he won absolutely everything, and in modern football, where physical strength and tactical discipline reign supreme.

.
In any case, both have already become football legends, but I predict that Mbappe will soon surpass them, both in the number of goals scored and in the number of club and national team trophies won.
Mbappe is still relatively young and I think he could play in at least 2 more World Cups and will have the opportunity to win many more personal and team trophies.

It is quite difficult to compare anyone with Messi and Ronaldo. Because they have not only played well for a few years, but they have been playing well for almost two decades and have been ruling football. So it is still difficult to compare Mbappe with them. But Mbappe is not a trend player. If you compare Mbappe's age with Messi and Ronaldo, Mbappe is still young. Despite Mbappe's young age, he has taken himself to a level in the World Cup where many legends could not reach. Apart from the World Cup, Mbappe has the Nations League, many domestic leagues and cups, individual Golden Boot and more trophies with Real Madrid. So calling Mbappe a trend player would be showing less respect to him.
Ronaldo and Messi are players that are doing well consistently for a long time now, You can see the passion and determination they are putting in the game to see that they achieve whatever is achievable in football and comparing them with players like Mbappé is not needed at all  because they have proven to us that they are the best and they are consistent in doing that for a while now, Mbappé is a player with quality  and he has been hiding own uniqueness but we can't just compare him with Messi or Ronaldo because they have built something he has not. I respect the three of them but they all have their uniqueness.

Ronaldo would like to score 1000 goals, he would be the first player to do so, it would be a wonderful achievement but it is not easy. Ronaldo is famous for scoring goals, while Messi plays for the team more, but he also scores a lot. They are two legends that's for sure, other players are unlikely to reach their levels. Mbappe is a champion but i don't think he can surpass Ronaldo and Messi, it will take a long time. We could win other World Cups but i don't see him at the level of Messi and Ronaldo.

It is right that an impartial investigation committee should be formed to investigate the corruption allegations against Infantino. But that committee cannot gather impartial information unless he resigns as FIFA president. Many of the allegations from the last World Cup have angered fans against FIFA officials. Infantino was fully blamed for the uproar over the sale of part of FIFA's rights after the World Cup, although he backed down from the decision to sell. European countries are even more angry at Infantino because of his closeness to Trump. Most national football associations will give their opinion on an impartial investigation committee, but as long as Infantino remains in office, the investigation report is unlikely to be impartial.

FIFA is a special supranational organization (a non-profit organization registered in Switzerland). In my opinion, the head of FIFA shouldn't fear investigations from individual countries, even if those countries are very rich and influential. 🙋

The power of the head of FIFA is based on good relationships with major financial sponsors and television broadcasters. As long as these people and organizations support Infantino, he, in my opinion, is safe.

There are many national football associations, and most of their leaders are quite loyal to Infantino. Smaller national football associations are very concerned about Europeans playing their own football within UEFA. Therefore, they are willing to support Infantino, who demonstrates support for these smaller national football associations. After all, it was Infantino who insisted on the participation of so many football teams in the World Cup. 💁

Of course it's early to compare Mbappe to them, he still has a lot to prove and has to win. Mbappe is a champion but he is not yet a legend like Messi and Ronaldo are. Mbappe can get closer to them if he is consistent and wins everything they won last year. It will be difficult.

I completely agree, for a sincere and corruption free investigation which should be free from external pressure. Then it's only advisable that Infantino should do the honorable thing by resigning. And allowing the committee to do there work, this will help bring back confidence which the outside world is gradually losing in FIFA, due to the perceived Influence that some powerful figures in the world is having on FIFA since the election of Infantino as the president of FIFA.

These allegations were once again made manifest in the just concluded World Cup. It clear that some members states of FIFA are no longer at ease with the decision that is been taken by FIFA hence the reason for this out cry, so FIFA President should resign while the said investigation is going on, afternoon the investigation if not found guilty he, should return but for a good investigation and clear all those who are having doubts about the whole things that, has been going on.

I never believe that there was corruption in the matches. Yes, the goals in the matches were scored at the moment when they needed the goals and it was not possible to score goals with any player other than Messi, that's why some people say that. If we watch the game at that time, we will see that they played the entire match centered on Messi. For example, every player gave the ball to Messi as soon as he got the ball and Messi created a goal opportunity as soon as he got the ball. If we could have seen all the other players on the field at that moment, maybe this result would not have happened with them. If there was really corruption in the matches, then why did we see such a result in the final and why did Argentina not take a single shot in the final

Talking about corruption is however very exaggerated, in the sense that we will never know if this is the case or not. We can only make an idea and believe that idea. Messi certainly has qualities that no one else has, which is why the team relied heavily on him to reach the final.

In any case there were some situations such as a big denied, which in another match was instead given for the same situation and these things lead to doubt.

Those who want Gianni Infantino don't have enough support right now to remove him. If these European nations join forces with other anti-Infantino force, they dont have enough votes to stop him from winning the next elections. Former FIFA presidents have always controlled FIFA that in some case UEFA head is more influntial. Infantino has given other developing nations all-round support so that they would also support him. His reign as FIFA president has increased the revenue that the FAs of countries receive from the organisation.
