I've had similar issues, but always in Claymore ZEC Miner, now nothing at all changed on my end, worked fine for ages and then suddenly all these issues, disconnects, periods of rejected shares etc.

We have no idea what is inside Claymore. It could be a time bomb, it could be a bug that got triggered due to some anti-cheating mechanisms... But the fact that every single other miner does not have any issues... can tell you something.

NICEHASHMINER ALSO GETS REJECTS-

I have a couple Win 7 x64 rigs mining with NHM.  They run nVidia cards, and also have problems.  Are your servers overloaded?  Seriuosly, no way of knowing how many new miners have been rigged since AMD cards are out-of-stock everywhere.

Suggesting that Claymore is a bomb seems unrealistic.       --scryptr

Show us problems with NVIDIA rigs. We got 0 reports about that. Also all our testing rigs work just perfect.

If there was an overload issue, then everybody would be getting rejects, not only few. We are closely monitoring all kind of server loads.

MY WIN 7 NHM RIGS WERE MUCH LESS AFFECTED--

And I did not take screenshots.    I thought it was important enough to remark on this thread because I lost a lot of hash power.  My payout date is set back.  Other miners have similar problems.

I switched one rig to Claymore Dual 9.4, it is doing well.  If I switch my big guns to Claymore Dual, it will pop the fuse.  There is a significantly higher electricity usage with Claymore Dual vs Claymore Zcash.

Blaming the problem on Claymore is not a solid defense, it seems poorly reasoned.       --scryptr

I don't know how I feel about the new site and mining directly to the new bitcoin address.

It is very confusing.

Do I have $54.56 (unpaid) + $62.64?

Also, I feel like I have to log in every 3 minutes, very annoying.

I MOSTLY AGREE--

But why would a large number of complaints occur with AMD rigs that were working perfectly well?  The same software/GPU combo, working well, does not mysteriously fail without a change in the server setup.  Blaming it on "Claymore blowing up" is plain nonsense.    There must have been a server-side change to affect so many miners.

Miners lost money.  I doubt Claymore's software, working well 2 days ago, mysteriously changed.  Claymore would loose a fortune if that were true.         --scryptr

Hello,

Are we able to mine Primecoin/XPM on nicehash? (cloud mining)

Pls provide a link to working pool, and which algortihm to use.

I did some search but could not find much info.

I found http://coinsforall.io/#!/coin/XPM and http://xpmforall.org/

but could not find proper settings to use.

Many Thanks.

It is not about what changed, because we changed nothing and claymore changed nothing, but what is happening on marketplace (that is the only change). We see some altcoins rising that use equihash. We cannot know how claymore protected his miner.

It is funny how you take closed source and havily protected miner by a completely annonymous entity as granted and all mighty.  Roll Eyes

NICEHASH ADDED SERVERS IN BRAZIL AND INDIA--

And software that was working well stopped working well.  There was no mysterious change in Claymore's software.  All I want is software that works, and most of the time Claymore products work well.

I don't know why the rejects are happening.  Although I have studied computer science and networking, I am far from an expert.  You simply accused Claymore of being a "bomb".  Miners are getting a higher reject rate than normal, and loosing money.  I got rejects with NiceHashMiner, but to a lesser extent than with my few Claymore rigs.

Nobody likes rejects.  With all its servers and coders and miners, NiceHash is kinda mighty.  Don't throw Claymore under the bus to make the rejects go away, it won't work.       --scryptr

Hi all,
it seems like my GPU doesnt work at all,
i followed all the steps of the Nice Hash step by step pdf, and the CPU seems to work fine.
During the Benchmark the GPU was allways on 100% load so in general the algorythms seem to be loadet.

In the logfile it says the following:

[2017-06-08 00:36:14] [INFO] [ccminer_NVIDIA-MINER_ID(3)-DEVICE_IDs(0)] [pid(2796)|bin(bin\ccminer_nanashi\ccminer.exe)] GetAPIData reason: Es konnte keine Verbindung hergestellt werden, da der Zielcomputer die Verbindung verweigerte 127.0.0.1:4000
[2017-06-08 00:36:14] [INFO] [ccminer_NVIDIA-MINER_ID(3)-DEVICE_IDs(0)] [pid(2796)|bin(bin\ccminer_nanashi\ccminer.exe)] summary is null

Es konnte keine Verbindung hergestellt werden, da der Zielcomputer die Verbindung verweigerte 127.0.0.1:4000
No Connection could be build, targeting computer is denying the conection 127.0.0.1:4000  ( roughly translatet, sry its a bit late)

Every five seconds a cmd window is plopping up and instantly closing again

Running on:
6700K
1080GTX (newest driver, same error on older drivers)
Nice Hash 1.7.5.13
Windows 8.1 64bit

No, it isn't fixed, unfortunately. My ZEC rigs still have lots of rejects. They work for few hours, then get new job from Nicehash, get all rejected shares for about 10 minutes, then switch to my backup pool which is Suprnova, and work perfectly there. Then again try to connect to Nicehash, work ok, then again produce stale shares right after getting new job from Nicehash.

This is definitely a problem with Nicehash... or maybe with some of the renters at Nicehash using hash for mining some obscure fork - btw is there any new ZCash fork raising in popularity the last few days?? - that might be the reason of all this mess.

I have switched all (but one) my rigs from Nicehash to other, more stable multipool for now. Actually I keep that single rig on Nicehash just to see when/if they fix the issue. If this continues, I expect a lot of hash sellers switching their rigs off Nicehash to other pools.

Miners are losing money, and they do not really care who is the real guilty one - Claymore or Nicehash.
As soon as they switch rigs off Nicehash, then Nicehash will be losing money instead. Instead of blaming Claymore and making dubious statements regarding "closed source software from completely anonymous source", Nicehash folks could have better contacted Claymore to work on this issue together.

I had the same issue about 12 hours ago.  I restarted my mining software and it cleared up.

I'm new to Nicehash and appreciate what Nicehash has done.

I'm investigating ways to improve my hashing.  I'm using a GTX 1050 Ti 4GB.  Can someone tell me what the "default" intensity is for each miner?  (and as a bonus, any suggestions on how high I can push my intensity?)  Also, I'm going to try overclocking a little, and my question is, if I overclock the GPOU, will I automatically get a higher hash rate or do I have to increase intensity to "take advantage" of the overclocking?

Thank you very much for assistance!

Well said.

May I ask what multipool you switched to? Haven't had time to look for alternatives yet.

There is a new site that breaks down costs and profitability using NiceHash.com to mine.

It just went up, is still in beta (kinda rough), and asking for feedback.

It is limited to Equihash at the moment but will add more if there is interest and support.

check it out:  WhatToPayForMining.com

Thats miningpoolhub.com. It used to be pretty stable and profitable, however variance could be big there. Typically I run half the rigs there, half on Nicehash, then compare the payouts. Sometimes NH is more profitable, sometimes MHP - they are pretty close (especially taking into account 0.9% fee on MPH, which really great compared to NH huge 3-4% fee).

Lately NH was clearly more profitable however - before the rejects started.

BTW, NH reject rate seem to be decreased a lot now (using Claymore 12.5 on Windows on the single rig connected to NH now). Hope it stays like this. We'll see...

I´m using dual GPU for mining, sometimes I stop one from mining to use it on gaming processing. Problem is nicehash sometimes change the algorithm and a new cmd pop-up minimizing the game. Does someone knows how to configure nicehash or cmd to not minimize other processes when starting up?
