This sounds kind of like Maidsafe...what are the differences?

NoirShares is nothing like Maidsafe.  Maidsafe is building a platform that developers can use to build decentralized applications, which is more comparable to what Ethereum is doing.  The Noir Group is a group that will build decentralized applications.  Do you see the difference?  Holding NoirShares will give you ownership rights to future decentralized applications developed by the Noir Group.  The other difference is holding NoirShares will be profitable.  By profitable, I mean an income producing asset like a company.  Other coins are just currencies that don't produce any cash flow.

So I have a question, are there any payouts yet from the mining operation for the general fund investors yet?

We haven't had a payout yet as we are just getting started, we were saving a bit early to get some financial footing, and some of the funds have also been used to develop the new DAC for the general fund as well. We have been quite aggressive with managing the startup funds, no waste all productive expenses- we expect some payouts to begin shortly after the upcoming DAC release, which, btw, if you're a general fund shareholder, please make sure to email logan@noirds.com with your NRS and BTC addresses using the email addresses you use to keep in touch with us-

Nice. Becoming rarer every day. (well every 3000 blocks )

I have a good stack of NRS and I think it's one of the most innovative coins out there.
Pushing the limits of what Crypto can do and backed by an amazing team that is well seasoned.

Not to mention we could be well on it's way to topping 1M dollar market cap soon at this rate.

I found this concept competely unique and interesting, I want to join the pool and mine this coin. I am however a bit confused about my other options concerning shares, etc. And then there's the announcement about send info, NRS/BTC addresses etc. I want to be part of this "quest" im just not sure what article to read and what to do other than just mine to my wallet. Sry for being a noob, keep up the good work.

The "General Fund" is now closed, so sadly you have missed your opportunity (unless you can convince a shareholder to sell their shares to you!). That said, if you hold any amount of NRS you are also a "shareholder" in another sense.

In other words, you can safely ignore any General Fund announcements - as you are not a General Fund shareholder.
