Some really interesting ideas starting to flow now. Wish I didn't miss the General Fund. Had the NRS to buy in and everything. Just got caught up and forgot. I offered LemonandFries to buy him out of his .3 BTC GF holding, but he wants 50 BTC for it. Very bullish of him . I will invest in the next venture I guess. Check pm

The CFO didn't answer any question. What is he for, if volunteers like Mario have to do his job?!
No pools == dead coin in the eyes of the people not directly involved with investment. Dead coin == no new investors No investors == price going down.

Sorry, but what was your question? I am really interested. Are you talking about multipool? So that is the endgame for you? A fully Proof of Stake coin needs a multipool for investors to be interested in the other aspects of NRS? I would have to disagree.

You are all facing the same issue, rouge nodes that are transmitting incorrect chain. version 60007 is the latest and syncs just fine, please look in your debug log and on "getpeerinfo" in your wallet, find the nodes broadcasting the bad chain and block them. We realised that if we do a complete forced peer block in the first phase of cutting them out, we run the risk of completely fragmenting the chain. This update allows people to sync, the next with a version bump again will completely lock out all other peers. We made a mistake in the first version so we split the update into two, as you can see, some have working wallets and others do not. You'll find that most who are having issues are connecting to the same set of nodes.
Please block the bad nodes in your firewall settings
Control Panel\System and Security\Windows Firewall
then go to advanced settings and modify your invound and out bound rules to block the offending nodes.
Hi Barwizi and others, Unfortunately I also cheered a little bit too early. After I downloaded the wallet and synced it without problems, I closed and re-opened the wallet and then it was stuck again at 2700 blocks ago and not syncing anymore. Also not after more then an hour. To try and solve this, I took the following steps (which worked): 1. I cleared everything from my %appdata%\noirshares folder except for the wallet.dat file2. I used Notepad to create a Noirshares.conf file in my %appdata%\noirshares folder. (if you do this, make sure you save the file as Noirshares.conf while "All files" is selected. Otherwise you might save it as a .txt file)3. In the Noirshares.conf file, you enter the following text:checkblocks=1
addnode=ypool.net addnode=nrs.argakiig.us addnode=173.236.43.58:39565 addnode=66.69.215.216:64946 addnode=5.9.158.79:47779 addnode=178.125.216.61:63731 addnode=107.170.207.147:8500 addnode=8.38.76.74:8500 addnode=121.185.195.12:8500 addnode=14.201.25.59:8500 addnode=70.114.143.108:8500 addnode=124.168.225.125:50023 addnode=59.55.230.181:59019 addnode=65.128.192.240:8500 addnode=98.250.252.199:8714 addnode=222.242.174.137:11054 addnode=88.8.127.16:49448 addnode=192.99.144.139:59973 addnode=77.28.2.49:44534 addnode=198.101.10.110:8500 addnode=75.143.69.254:8500 addnode=86.163.25.105:59196 addnode=83.227.236.11:63228 addnode=85.243.107.186:51194 addnode=211.149.148.150:58600 addnode=183.66.32.185:61793 addnode=82.66.239.16:50554 addnode=124.231.7.138:6415 addnode=118.186.153.220:55145 addnode=212.117.32.160:63075 addnode=87.231.15.229:54376 addnode=77.185.64.103:51852 addnode=107.170.254.5 addnode= 41.78.77.178 addnode=192.241.213.244 addnode=172.245.183.30 addnode=162.243.131.88 addnode=54.213.71.178 addnode=192.241.213.224 addnode=54.80.61.11 addnode=198.199.96.129 addnode=54.197.175.2384. Run the Noirshares QT client again and it will start syncing again from the beginning. It might get stuck a few times in the end, but then just close the client and start it again and it should continue to sync. 5. After it has totally finihed syncing, you should be able to open the client again and it should remain up to date. This should however ofcourse not be necessary and everybody should just be able to download the client and it should just work. So please DEV's focus your energy on building a completely functioning wallet without all these issues. After that it would be nice to get some updates on where NRS is going so we can all squash the trolling going on here and built a strong community again. The last days have not been good for my investment, so let's turn it around guys ! checkblocks 750 works too is works, without old peers It also works for me.

If the voting went through and the answer was a majority "yes". That GF member would be stripped from his/her position and refunded back what was owed at time of purchase. Also, I would be in agreement to have a safety fund included just for this on every transaction monitored by the CFO and publicly shared to the group. Just a little building of the infrastructure..... Maybe to difficult yet with the technology we have?

how about holding a vote for a new CEO?
it's sad that you all are falling for this simple manipulation tactics by Barwizi
diverting the attention towards me instead of trying to solve the problem, which is the CEO
vote out Barwizi and replace him with someone that actually has good intentions towards this project and is competent, not just live off the trust and funds of investors
I will leave it alone now. and please, grow a spine

2. Barwizi, you did a great job adding liquidity since we only had polo and Btc38 if what Laz and Jake were saying was true.
What did I say?

That would not be fair, I certainly would not vote "yes" for that. Remember also that LemonAndFries once was a supporter also and has been there since the beginning, as has Lazj99. And then ask yourself, what is it what disappointed him so much that he got so mad? Because things have happened. And maybe he is overreacting, but try also to understand his point of view, he feels screwed. In Dutch there is a saying, who throws the ball to a wall must expect it to come back to him. If you see smoke, there must be fire. 130k NRS must have been at least 26 bitcoins at the time of selling. Dumping such an amount without giving a good reason is not cool. Keeping it a secret is also not cool. So this reaction is what you could have expected.

Was the secret during the selling? What market effect would have ensued with an announcement of selling 130K coins before selling them? Was it not better to do so slowly "secretly" on the rise by selling and buying to generate trade volume (positive effect one) and not crash the price? Because to my understanding that is exactly how the coins were put into the market. And again, isn't the use of the term "dumping" misplaced and inaccurate in this case?

From a particular point it is then coated sales to panic. the price dropped to about -80% to -120%. he has now stabilized at around 40-50%.

Fraud is what the whole Barker to do here. because they induce unknowing ones or new beginner or holders of their shares from panic and fear to the lowest prices for sale. and this panic they themselves have created. they cheat by spreading allegations with their spam and false content. induce others to sell. is the price then deep. Buy this spammer then even the cheap shares in large quantities. so this scam running. that's here target, cheap buy many shares this is the true scam. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=565623.msg7630370#msg7630370July 02, 2014, 01:14:23 AM LemonAndFries the hothead, the whole nor been fueled. even though he was afraid for his shares I know this spameattacks already from wallstreet forums. there are always the same contentless post, with big letters and bright colors. it is these types just about to create panic. and as we see, I've already written, the award will now recover quickly. because this spamer who now shopped nice and cheap. now they also want their share sale profitable again. So must the price high.

and as already written, the spamer your traget have been reached and the price is low. they are silent.
the difference to wallstreet forums, there you will be blocked, if you created an undocumented allegation and thus spreading lies.
Here, anyone can do what he wants!
in two weeks we are back at 0.0003, because their cheap shares are then run through the staking.
so simple is that
makes a profit of about 200-500% in two weeks

I also saw that to when I came back from my trip. I also know that I wouldn't be here if one person owned 100% of the company. I havn't stopped buying but am interested in Logan's report. I have potential investors.
