There is no proof that anything is wrong. We need facts...

The proof of things being wrong is that the coin never went to PoS stage

lol u guys are mining for chunky for free, wake up!

yeap its no reward, but if you want you white coin to exist and your previous mining to be worth something then we need the hashing power

you just dont get it, chunky is doing a  coup d'état and you are all getting scammed

Uh huh. A pool wants to ruin a coin that it supports. Right.

A quick update and an attempt to respond to the various questions and comments I've seen:

1. Re logs on "51% attack" analogy. These are accurate, but I was trying to explain to people how these would essentially be the democratic metrics we need if we're going to fork the coin.

2. Plans to fork the coin are underway. This will not be done without consensus and hope in the meantime the devs will appear.

3. Yes this is real. Yes the devs appear to be gone. Yes I am a real person.

4. We believe for now that the network/blockchain  is secure, I am awaiting an additional updated report on this matter.

5. We have taken this action not to take control of the coin for ourselves, but because we were faced with either completely walking away from this.... or offering the community an opportunity to rally and take control of their coin in the spirit of crypto's original design. We will be handing control of whitecoin over to a transparent and accountable foundation unless the devs appear, or community consensus swings away from performing a fork.

more updates as soon as I can give them.

This will be interesting to watch. No way I'm panic selling, so i'm in it for the long haul. This will be an interesting social experiment at the very least. I'm in your corner for what its worth.

I just looked at the main.h file and it has plenty of PoS stuff in it.  Though I oddly don't see where they ever defined the minimum stake age which probably isn't helping.
