Anyone have any suggestions for missing coins?  I followed advice here that it was safe to delete the debug.log file.   I closed the wallet, deleted the debug.log file, and restarted my wallet.  After that 2000+ Cinni are missing.

So far this are things I have tried:

1.  Deleted all files from the cinni wallet directory except wallet.dat, got a new block chain that was posted here, and reopened my wallet.
2.  Created a resync short cut to the cinni wallet .. reopned it.. nada
3.  Tried to restore an older copy of the wallet.dat .. same thing.. missing coins
4.  Tried a repairwallet after backing up wallet.dat - came back and said wallet was fine
5.  Someone suggested an uninstall and install the newer CC wallet (I have always used the old one) so I backed up the wallet.dat again... Deleted the cinni directory.. Downloaded the new wallet and it is syncing.. Well someone mentioned private keys so are those required or do I just let the new wallet sync and then past in the old wallet.dat?

Thanks!!!

If this encrypted message system is so great and takes BTC and Cinni, why couldn't a developer design it so it takes other altcoins too?

no one is hyping anything lol, they just made an announcement as they have the full dev team working on it
the only people talking about fud, hype, bad this bad that are the trolls so is really hard to watch their points when they dont even know we have a cinni-news site where we ve been following the cinni work.

so yeah im a investor/supporter of cinni also, and is only natural the price rise after all the big innovation announcement, so far devs have delivered all within their timeframes, so is only natural that cinni has investors trust and price increase, after the wallet release then we will see the real cinni prices, meanwhile i find it cheap and im still filling some bids.

If he didn't trash talk, insult and use weak reasoning I'd probably listen to him. It's like he has these cogent moments in between insults, name calling and generally weak arguments. "Cinni is a stupid name"? Come on

He goes on about "devs" dumping but makes no mention of the large DBGPool scam where someone got upwards of 600,000 CINNI for free during PoW. (my post about it https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=599438.msg6647754#msg6647754). DGBPool is a Chinese scam and has nothing to do with Cinni. They latch on to brand new coins and often claim "we were hacked" when they go missing. They move the stratum ports around, but let miners mine on old ones and collect the blocks for themselves, etc.

I'm not wondering who was dumping, are you?

Edit: Looking at the volume from the 32k, I'm convinced the DBGPool hacker/scammer has already dumped out so it's factored in to the price already. So this isn't FUD for anyone sensitive to that kind of thing. Smiley

I see, there is a blockchain download that might help in case you have to redownload the chain, other than that maybe can send a pm to Digit or cinnidev, they both are pros and have helped with issues like this Smiley

Actually, as one of those readers, I do not perceive your latest posts as plausible due to personal insults towards believers (or whoever they are) of this coin. I am even surprised because checking your post history reveals you as pretty discreet speaker. Additionally, your inquiry about 1 BTC for screenshots (which could be easily fabricated) does not add to the score. Also it is difficult to believe that enormous amount and size of your posts is simply the result of your willingness to warn naive people, as you said.

I am open to discussion.

It doesn't look to me like you are open to any discussion. As to "fabricating" screenshots, I don't see that even plausible but what would not be potentially "fabricable" an official Mintpal statement? Anyway, there are no takers. If they are, I would give the proper escrow individual access to my account so the "fabricable" part would be moot. Are you willing to take the challenge yourself?

And yes, The only reason I post the scams is to warn the many new and naive people that arrive in the scene everyday and that swallow the shameful scams that 99% of the coins are. There's no particular effort made since I am posting only on those which I have personally experimented at significant cost myself. But ask me if I give any mind to doubters like you...

In any event, in case you want some more "incentive for the challenge", I am finally out of CINNI having sold my remaining coin today at 12756 at both Mintpal and Cryptsy. No more CINNI for me, therefore, unless for the purposes of any one accepting the 1 BTC challenge or to remind new and naive that this is indeed pretty scammy, I'd take my marvels elsewhere now.

I'm not really interested in your buys and sells. I simply pointed out some faults in your statements to help you convey your point better. However your answer was pretty hostile towards me personally. So be it. Thanks for your effort anyway.

seems your blockchain is bad, the transaction doesnt show on the cinni chain , so after resync with the good blockchain you should see them in your wallet, you can get the blockchain faster in this message https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=573232.msg7090651#msg7090651

All these announcements of announcements about new features but not properly working wallet/POS for many weeks  Huh

Wake up and fix the wallet/ POS code first!

After that someone might even believe that you can bring the new features.

Barabas with a new account?  Cheesy

bug fix wallet was released days ago lol, talking about fud

here i can share you the link if youre not able to search: http://cinni-news.com/dev-updates/31-wallet-update-bug-fix-released

I am not any barabbas, and i am very able to search, thanks for doubting.

No fud, real problem. Installed and imported privkeys two times already.

Maybe you are not early adopter and dont have enough cinni/stakes to problem appear.

And im not alone with this problem, there are many others and more to come---> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=573232.msg7088533#msg7088533

I Donated 5k cinni for this development to come. But still buggy wallet/POS, how can they make bigger features if even wallet/POS/transactions
doesnt work properly, this is pretty shady happening in here..

i am an early investor and all my stakes are working fine, sorry for the confusion there, but instead of asking for help it seemed you were trying to spread fud.

i already shared you the wallet bug update link, im using that wallet and all my stakes are working fine and have had no issue so far, you could try using the first wallet also, some people reported they fixed their issues with it. or you can send a pm to cinnidev, he has helped all the people that send him pm.

I have tried everything, i really mean everything. Feeling really frustrated at this point so sorry if i sounded as fudster.
Made pm to cinnidev and got answer but it seems like there is no permanent solution until dev make some fix to bug.

Pretty confusing to get POS blocks with locked wallet when im trying to send some of my cinni to Mintpal.
POS block came ok and had confirmations but my transaction didnt have any, WTF?

Maybe this bug has something to do with my over 15 000 transactions from micro stakes.
Having really hard times with sending any of my cinni to anywhere.

Do i really need to wait another 10 days in a hope that i really can someday send my cinni to somewhere again?

Very hard to believe to that huge upcoming update when there is problems like this imo.

sorry to hear, i would ask for your wallet to try fixing it here but i know is not easy to trust, send a pm to digit, he is like a pro wallet (im still learning)

here is a link for the old wallet just in case your up for a last tryout before getting more assistance - http://cinni-news.com/downloads/CinniCoin_old.zip

Volume has dropped off a lot from earlier.

Volume has increased a lot in the last 24 hrs ,

it always depends on how you see the glass of water, half filled or half empty

Cryptomarkets moves in waves, after you learn a bit more of them you will see is only natural markets behavior

volumes go up and down, so you should consider 24 hr vol Smiley

Cheers.
