I think the pools are bad for cryptocurrencies and they should be avoided if it's possible. It's hard with $15000 bitcoin blocks and $400 litecoin blocks. The block costs about $5 on bbr. Why do you prefer to give your power to some pool instead of getting more hashrate and helping the network by running the a node? Give something back to the community!
Do you really cannot wait till get 17 BBR on your account? You'll get it faster solo then through the pool. Think about it - it's just $5 to wait.

so i was right .... its have a big rig and solo mine or go fuck off ... right

I agree with you. But for very small miners, say 40 kH/s it is better to have a pool.

Indeed Smiley
But I have to say... the bbr solo mining performance is better than i thought.
the last three days I run a cpu miner on a pool and it made noticeable less bbr per mhash as my solomining gpu rigs.

i love to mine BBR without a pool... and it works out quite nice with mbk's miner (boolbd).

question. is it possible to mine/connect with additional cpu miners directly to the booldb rcp damon of the gpu mbk miner?

What's point of doing that? Just start daemons.... everywhere when you want to do mining.
You won't win anything bu having rpc-miners i guess.

Not mining there unless there's a fee. And no, I'm not joking.
Well then good news! I now have a fee set on http://cncoin.farm -  1.5%!  Grin
Everyone test your gpus on port 11111, please!

Also try https://github.com/clintar/boolberry-opencl  opencl miner with zoidberg's latest fixes that make it more efficient! Note the --remote_scratchpad and --local_scratchpad scratchpad options.

Of the released gpu boolberry miners, this should be the best... As long as it's not buggy. It keeps a local scratchpad instead of downloading it every time you run it. I was getting about 90% of the hash rate as solo with the daemon using port 11111 on my http://cncoin.farm pool. (at least as far as the miner told me) I'm just putting this out there until mbk pulls in the changes in case anyone wants to try it. So go ahead and test it out!

Are you using stratum ports? Same thing happened with me and my CUDA miner, I was using a high diff port and it was HTTP, but not labeled so.
I have solved my problem by deleting scratcpad.bin and re-downloading............sorry for wasting your time Grin

it's a bear market for altcoins right now. not even xmr is doing well, though bbr has lost value quicker.

don't despair  Smiley

do you have all dlls that was in archive?
any updates on when the cpuminer issue will be fixed?

if it helps, the minerd that came with the boolberry easyminer .exe works just fine (albeit, apparently about 10 times slower than normal). just the minerd that is for separate download with the pool client (here) doesn't work...

occasionally it will get past the step that he crashed at and show this:

seems that it stops just before this step every time:

Quote
Auth id: (number)
ADDENDUM APPLIED: (number) --> (number)

i'm using an AMD Phenom II X4 965 Processor, 3.40 GHz.

i also can't seem to mine with any version of the gpu pool miner for nvidia! but solo mining there is fine for me.

Its definitely on a slippery slope...

Watching on Poloniex it seems that most of trading is bot driven.......me thinks that listing on exchanges before a coin matures is counter productive. The race for a quick profit just devalues BBR/ any coin

I'm a really small time miner, I've mined 26.97 BBR and not sold any. I believe that BBR has awesome features with an outstanding Dev. Guys if you have to sell please make them pay a fair price or just don't sell.

Nobody got rich of BTC in the early days......it took time. Trying to get rich off BBR at this point can only limit it's future.........I for one will give it time.....if I lose so what......but it won't be me that kills it
