error: couldn't connect to server: unknown (code -1)
(make sure server is running and you are connecting to the correct RPC port)

It would be better if someone with more technical knowledge explained, because I am very thin on that, but as far as I understand, sometimes there is not enough hash power to generate blocks. Today I tried and it was my wallet was not updating also. I checked on explorer https://www.blockexperts.com/blu# and there was no block for 33 hours. Now I saw blocks coming every few minutes, started my wallet and it updated very fast. Regarding 0 connections, click on peers on block explorer and you can add nodes from the list.

Currently, it is trading on Yobit and Livecoin. But deposits are off in both exchanges. I guess livecoin will be back in few days, when they implement last update, but for Yobit no one knows.
