Currently, it is trading on Yobit and Livecoin. But deposits are off in both exchanges. I guess livecoin will be back in few days, when they implement last update, but for Yobit no one knows. Livecoin wrote to me and they said Support (assistant):

It lasts 3 1/2 years already, with its original developer. I think it is more than enough to distinguishe it. Another more plus is that it has its ups and downs, so you buy when it is down, and you sell when it is up, then you do it all over again. And you gain something what is called ROI, return on investment, and you still have your coins. In last few years, only dash gave me better ROI, then bluecoin. |

Can anyone who has been around much longer than me help to explain the history of this project? it looks like it went dead for 3 years and was recently revived maybe? In the few revival posts that are out there, there doesn't seem to be any attempt to explain why the project went dead or why it's coming back.
I don't want to write it off without learning more, but there seems to be next to no community, the website is full of typos and more importantly doesn't explain why BlueCoin is unique.
My more skeptical side says it's being revived simply because there is a chance for the developers (and former BlueCoin believers) to make some Bitcoin since the entire crypto space is booming. Maybe the code was sitting there and they figured it was worth a shot? Or maybe BlueCoin brings something new to the crypto space and has a reason to exist, unlike so many other coins/tokens out there today?
More info would be much appreciated. Thanks!

when I try to search an address on https://www.blockexperts.com/blu# it just goes to a blank screen. I've tried on 2 different computers (windows and Linux). Is it just me or is the search function not working for others? |
