One of the best places to vote is at our BTC address on Cryptsy!!

1MweQYsDcN5G7gSzdTieA7NqnT4PNC9sUq

Currently we have 8667 votes up from around 6700 a few days ago!!  Currently in 5th place there!!

If any Orange supporters don't have a Poloniex account yet, sign up there as we are listed there also.   You have to have an active 'trading' account to vote meaning you have to have some trading activity!!

Best of luck!!

Wow! that is a nice jump! Great news! We in pretty good standings at poloniex too! I'm still voting at mintpal, ya never know if minty is going to say they'll add the top 100 coins in the vote list or something. People invested gobs of BTC into the voting just for minty to phase it out... Smiley

When you said "Wow! Great news", I thought something had happened... Halofire can you explain why you can not bring your contest out now ? Is it really so linked to MN ?

The contest isn't necessarily linked to the MN, it can run as a standalone and was originally intended to be so. Contest attracts more publicity for the MN and OC, so it only made sense to marry the two ideas. You'll see how it comes together in its entirety.

Votes increased by ~30% and that is great news! If you were looking for an update, sorry to burst your bubble, haha.

hi guys,
currently I am staking at 20% interest POS per year . If I hold my coins on multinode wallet then I will get 22% instead of 20% is that right??
Will the multinode be a complicated issue like darknode MN?? or a simple one like the one had by CAIX last month where you hold minimum 2000 coins at least in your wallet for 30 days and they gave you coins/BTC .

Hi again!
If you're talking about masternodes, then yes you will get 22% once the dev's release it and if you follow all instructions on setting it up. Dev's are planning on every 30 days to pay out as well.
As far as it being a complicated issue, that's why Jim is taking his time to ensure the smooth transition. Everything is good with OC right now, and we want to keep it that way.

What CAIX did was they took a snapshot of every wallet at start of the month and which ever wallet had above 2000 coins was qualified provided they did not move their coins out. Then again a snapshot everyweek to disqualify coin wallets that go below the threshold limit. so more incentive to stake than to sell while the coin develops further with new features. Orangecoin could put higher coin limit because of the higher coin count.
Or the developer could go his own way if he can generate new fresh income to support additional money to come to orangecoin.

Here's the OP info on OUR MN. Many things are different than CAIX.
Look what I've bolded and underlined. Smiley

Orangecoin Masternodes
Official Masternode Specifications Presentation Link
Masternode Specifications.
Year 1:  PoS  20%   MN 2%
Year 2:  PoS  10%   MN 1%
Year 3:  PoS    5%   MN 0.5%
Year 4:  PoS  2.5%  MN 0.25%
Orangecoin Masternodes are in development for the use in Orangecoin network to help offer anonymous transactions and reward users for doing so. Each Masternode will require 2000 OC to enable, with full server guides to be released prior to code and client release.
If you plan on running an Orangecoin Masternode it is recommended to have experience in network security and administration.

When will the code be released?
When we are 100% confident in the code it will be released to the public. We are ensuring this is done right.
How do I set up a Masternode?
Full instructions will be given prior to launch.
How many coins will I get?
In the first year there will be around 1 million OC given to Masternodes. Depending on the number of Masternodes depends on the rewards.
When will I get paid?
The current adaption is looking at 30 days, this may change.
Where are the extra coins coming from?
Total OC still remains at 200 Million. The coins will be taken of the total years from 46 down to 41.
What’s so special about OC Masternodes?
Our process unlike some “Masternodes” intends to be 100% automated, using original ideas from Darkcoin and adding our own.

Hope that clears up some of the confusion.

Thanks for info. I guess that info (experience in network security and administration) rule me out of MN. I will be happy to stake normally without MN. Good thing is the masternode interest is extra 10% of normal stake interest so I will not miss out on anything much.

Who cares about mintpal anymore? Mintpal is dead. Poloniex is smaller then bittrex and cryptsy, i don't know if cryptsy will really add any values. It is time for innovation!!! only that will move a coin higher, and of course the pumps and dumps. Just too much coins, there is no reason for investors to invest in Orange coin (with the exceptions of buying low and wait for a pump and dump it)

You are right with what you said and you know why I post voting time  Wink
And the whole pump and dump action is normal in this business.
Only the coinquality and time can show who will really succed.
Acceptance is necessary without that it is only speculation.
But that is why we are here and the coinquality was in the meantime really good.
When MN hits everything will be perfect. Good time to grab a few cheap OCs. Grin
