What is the state with the GUI wallet development? I think that is really a missing piece to attract more mainstream users.

Here yah go! I've officiated it with my Dev powers!

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Why does Dwarfpool send with mix value zero?

They are not in the official list of pools, I think that this is not the only thing they are "doing wrong".

I'm beginning to think that as well.

Each day ask yourself what you can do to help Monero prosper?

Can you:

1. Code
2. Translate
3. Write
4. Design
5. Tell a friend
6. Brainstorm
7. Donate
8. Beta test

We are a strong community. Every one of us is capable of doing something. Lets work together to build something we can tell our grandchildren about

When the time is right, I can give a pretty damn persuasive public speech, regardless of crowd size or importance.

Other than that, I once wrote scraps of an unofficial Final Fantasy sequel in QBasic back in the mid-90's.  Using sprites effectively in QBasic is a task that makes cryptonote look like a child's toy.

Also, before that I wrote text adventures in TI-Basic.  It had already been invented by then, but I am heralded as *re*inventing the text parser routine, an accomplishment that only my local trailer park really knew about.  I was tired of forcing players to use only rigid and pre-approved syntax, and it occurred to my 12 year old self that if I analyzed each character of input, I could search the entire string for an authorized command instead of just at the beginning.

So if the devs need any 80's MS-DOS level game features added, and are willing to port the code to QBasic, I would make a valuable asset.

Until then I will stick to 'blogging' about Monero and thinking about the upcoming venture capital phase.

Account is back under control of the real AmericanPegasus.

Additionally each surname has 4 sylabbles and the names' initials can both be re-worked to spell NSA.

This is exactly the kind of fortune telling bullshit I'm talking about. Sabelnikov is by all accounts a real person. So the fact that his initials reorder to NSA means what exactly? His mother (who presumably named him) was an NSA spy? Operating under NSA mind control in choosing a name?

How irritating of you to quote and attack that snippet when you know full well it is all the coincidences which together add up to something more compelling. Bravo:

Quote
2.3 A Russian involved with the tiny BCN set has a name which translates into the only (fake) name we have to associate with CN. The first word in his surname (sabel) translates (in Dutch) to the fake Dutch name created for CN (saber). The second part of his surname ("niko") is short for Nicolas. Additionally each surname has 4 sylabbles and the names' initials can both be re-worked to spell NSA.

2.4. The chance of such a profound name collision to occur within two tiny sets is minute. This is beyond coincidence.

It's still fortune telling bullshit. The 'chance of such a profound name collision' being tiny would be true if you specified a single method of comparing names, in advance. If you keep slicing and dicing and looking at different things like parts of names, translations, number of syllables, ways to rearrange the initials 'NSA', etc. until you find something, you are all but guaranteed (if not actually guaranteed) to find something.

Well this is a funny one.

almost a year ago rethink-your-strategy points to a powerful link between Sabelnikov and BCN. XMR crazy for that.
[see  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=740112.0 ]

earlier today Wanderlust points to a powerful link between Sabelnikov and Saberhagen. XMR ignoring that.
[see below]

what gives?

My nigga! You're invoking the lord's name in vain.

I showed that Sabelnikunt worked on BCN's code, and is the dev behind BBR. The problem with your fucking guesswork is that BBR has a bunch of retarded shit that makes no cryptographic sense, where the CryptoNote whitepaper at least contained a few fluid ounces of common sense.

This pretend link between Sabelnikov and Saberhagen smells like bullshit, and is bullshit. Go work for Newsweek.

True facts:  If you rearrange the letters of "smooth" , and apply a cascading Bible filter bacon scramble you get "darpa".

Somehow a letter gets lost because math and stuff.

Anyway, f-off you government shill.

Now I can see how your parsing routines would indeed have been legendary.

Glad you dropped in.

Before I continue can I suggest you edit your post…

Immediate Red Flags

The first thing that is a red flag in all of this is that nobody, and I mean no-fucking-body, is a known entity.

…with the following: "except for Andrey N Sabelnikov who I'm about to demonsrtate is a (fucking) known entity connected to BCN." Thank you.

The BBR connection is good and I can imagine he might have started it. However reading recent posts from cryptozoidberg and comparing them to older posts I do not believe cz is Sabelnikov. Not any more anyway.

If you keep slicing and dicing…

It is the Dutch translation of Sabel into Saber for use in a fake Dutch name that caught my interest. (double dutch lol) If Sabel translated to Saber in Hungarian for example I would not have been so provoked. Clearly his proximity to CN/BCN and dev skills make him a strong candidate.

*Childe Harold is none other than Perry Woodin of dash's node40. Here is the evidense:

--Childe's avatar sports a handlebar mustache; Perry has a handlebar mustache.

--Chillde mentions lobsters in his sig; Perry belongs to a lobster (unicycle) racing team.

--Childe's post history shows a strong interest in dash (then dark); Perry works within the dash space.

--Both have an interest in cryptocurrency, write in English, most likely feel Monero is a threat, have genitals, eat food, poop (though I can't prove the last 4 and they may be actually aliens on a dangerous mission to destroy human anonymity by disparaging the best choice for privacy with a distracting FUD attack....)

*It took me about 10 minutes to gather this BS that anyone looking for a connect-the-dots conspiracy could build upon to make their case (and by case I mean their BS molded like a filthy version of the mash potato mountain from Close Encounters-- but without the grand ending or spaceships or military cover-up... Just a man, his pile of shit and a stupid grin, "Doesn't it look like an alien! It must be a sign!"). Next up: is rethink-your-strategy Samuel L. Jackson?

Yes, I've seen this response before.

Hey, Anywhere I can use paypal to buy? I don't care if I have to wait however long it takes to be UN-reversable. I don't want to give them my banking info. They used to just credit my card now they want more info so instead of giving it to them I'd rather just buy Monero with it. I refused to do the verification years ago and I'm not going to now.

Wonder if we can get Fleabay to pay out in XMR or at least BTC?
