if monero really takes off we will see much darker markets/projects than the pedophile crowdfunding one dash is experiencing right now. i was woundering why they didnt choose xmr in the first place, since its better to mine with normal computers, if the story is true at all in the first place..
just be prepared for that, the real scum will come and we wont be able to do anything about it. if monero stays as untraceable as it is right now, hell we will see much worser things. Monero would become the "industry standard"
Good points i am not so sure all these trolls are from the dash camp..

at least in the past we have seen several social and technical attacks coming out of the bytecoin/CN corner. i cant see why that should have changed, especially regarding bytecoins ongoing pump effort too. maybe today it is all mixed up and dash joined the fight, its really hard to say. but in the end its also not that important since xmr core community seems, like the software one day, to be antifragile too  |

W0w, just heard about this. Good, I'm glad they are using dash. This is a 2 pronged win for XMR. It's obviously a honeypot and anyone on that pool is gonna get tagged. LOL Dashtards abound. Lets hope XMR never gets used like this. And even if it's not a honeypot whoever spends the coins is busted and then dash will be done and proven it's worthless as an anon coin. |

Still don't understand why people insist on quoting the trolls...
Anyways, build from newest git code on Ubuntu 15.04 hangs indefinitely on "Deinitializing cryptonote_protocol..." when Ctrl+C in terminal.
daemon shutdown has been a longstanding problem. Try to document the best you can on github with an issue report. |

Why do I care? I don't rightly know. A sense of injustice perhaps. Monero is a dwaf standing on the shoulders of giants. Accusing the giants of cryptonote and bytecoin of fraud and holding to an imperfect and incomplete analysis from rethink-your-strategy ("blowing the lid off bytecoin") as though it were gospel devalues them and yourselves at one stroke. Preaching your gospel to all those who take an interest in BCN is indicative of the ongoing irrational hatred monero has for bytecoin. As though it were not sufficient to simply fork the code and move on, you as a community continue to trash bytecoin with no concrete evidence of wrongdoing. It is tasteless, and you disrespect the individuals who produced to code that you originally copied. Accusing me of FUD is a little rich dont you think? If Monero can get listed on as many exchanges as DASH fairly soon and we position ourselves correctly the world will notice our superior tech and we can quickly gain market dominance. Remember VHS vs Beta? It is possible for superior tech to lose of the inferior tech (even if it is based on a mining scam like DASH) depending on the degree of market penetration the inferior tech can achieve early |
