The current price of Vertcoin is concerning, hopefully this stealth facility can kick start interest in VTC and MON.

bittrex also has monocle in the firing line to be delisted for the second week in a row.

I'm not surprised to be honest. I think I'm personally responsible for most of they buys!

Not enough volume.  Poloniex barely has any volume either, and the price is super low!  MON needs some marketing! Something to get the word out!

It's just a case of holding, really.

If they truly are high quality, they will stand the test of time. I really wouldn't want to see the type of "marketing" that has exchanges taking BTC for votes, just for the coin to reduce even further in value after getting listed.

If the coin's worth having, then people will buy/mine it.

I didn't mean marketing by paying any exchange for votes.  If people do not know a coin exists or it's purpose, why are they going to buy it?  I have a big pile of both VERT and I continue to pick up MON on the cheap and I do really like the stealth addresses, but any word about the coin or it's future would be great to show to the public.

it's the problem with any product. you could make the best alt currency in the world, but if no one knows about it but a select few then not much will come of it unfortunately. with the market as saturated as it is, marketing is extremely important.

The thing is, on Simple Vert alone we have almost 4,000 workers mining a coin with an algo at isn't energy efficient and is tough on the hardware. The mining community for this coin is vibrant and very much active, yet the exchanges are seeing very little volume.

That can only mean one thing, everyone is holding because they consider that the coin is undervalued. I would be more concerned if the price was dipping and the volume rising! I would also be concerned if no one was mining.

can you guys take over parallax coin? or maybe we can get the simplevert guys to take it over and provide some updates/wallet hosting? seems like somebody needs to do something or triple merged mining will soon be only double merged mining...

Well it is good news that it is still being mined by a rather large group.  The problem is....the price is dipping.  It's price is less than 50% of what it was a week ago and 20% of what it was a month ago.  While not that many big dumps have happened, there is very little buy support which very well could be a problem considering how low the price has gotten.

PLX is scamcoin, why the hell VTC and MON devs will take it over? Let it die like already dead _all_ coins launched by these scammy devs.
I am sure that not only pools killed MON, people dumped MON too in a fear that MON will share PLX destiny.

BTW, I am very very sad, MON is my 2nd favourite coin after VTC, but it seems someone will buy major part of MON due to it's rareness and price. MON must spread on exchanges wider, at least we can push it to mintpal.

There have been too many pool operators with excess MON to dump, and this has kept supply greater than demand. If pool operators are happy to sell at any price just to get rid of the excess coin that they don't want, then the price will continue to fall, no matter what exchange it's on.

How do we expect the algo change to affect things? Does anyone know what the new algo will be?
