Encourage you guys to merged mine at p2pool nodes. There are so many supported nodes and updated information.

We need to strengthen the p2pool for VTC and MON.

+1

Vert p2p is time tested...be patient...give it 24 hours to account for variance. Ping each node to see which is closest to minimize latency and have at it.

Diggin the MON... Smiley

No need to ping anymore. Use combined scanner which automatically sorted by latency.
http://coin.cubeconnex.com/poollist/

Take note that "Merged mine" is not accurately display all merged mining enabled nodes.
Open scanner and see the fronpage of it see whether node operators announced the merged mining.

Hey, I have been mining MON since launch with 1,4MHash/s on http://coin.cubeconnex.com/, on node http://h-212-237.a259.priv.bahnhof.se:9555/. I got about 17 MON and only about 2 VTC.

Yesterday, I checked http://soun.se/index.php for my estimated earnings, and it showed that I should get over 6VTC. Now, there is only 0.5VTC to be paid to my adress.

Something seems to be wrong with VTC payouts. Any Ideas?

Yes some thing is wrong with the payout script I only got 0.6 VTC of 2 listed. I do not have that high hash rate my self thats why it's on net 3.

I'm stoppping the payout script now. No more payments until I can see what happends and fix it.

I recommend switching to an other node until it's done or user port 9174 for non merged mining (VTC only) you will get shares the normal way and it will take time to work up to excpected again.

Hashharder seems to have resolved their payment problems, I've received my backlog of MON from them now, and just saw a new payment go to "in batch" and received it almost right afterwards in my wallet.

Would have been nice to have a history of payments in addition to the "scheduled payments" there though.

Where is an exchanges where I can sell/buy MONs for BTC or VTC??

I don't think there is one yet...

Anyway I'm now merged mining on the Simple Vert pool. This is my first time mining Vertcoin so I'll just put in a few things I learned setting this up in case it helps anyone. Firstly I got Vertminer to work only after deleting the .conf file, and I couldn't get much of a hashrate until setting the thread concurrency manually. On the Simply Vert pool, merged mining is set up by putting in your MON address and then signing a message within the Vertcoin wallet and pasting the output on the pool. I'll post back here when I get a MON and VTC payment if no-one else gives an update on this particular pool. I haven't tried P2P mining and even this way it is a little tricky to set up BUT, I think we could be seeing more merged mining coins once this is all working smoothly.

viewing my frustration level on mining MON p2p over a lot of nodes testing and earn nearly nothing i would suggest 0 because it won´t hit a exchange

You should try stratum+tcp://p2pool.vtcpool.co.uk:9555 it works great and giving steady payout

Where is an exchanges where I can sell/buy MONs for BTC or VTC??

should not be fast, the first exchange difficulties will rise and everyone will lose .... be patient and think about the future of this coin, not how to sell it
I buy 1 MON for 0.00000002BTC do you agree

Any news from battlefield? Is there any good solution for merged mining and payouts on p2pool nodes? I know about proxy solution, but it's weird and painful to install.
