Hi everyone,
Just got back from work. I see some of you may not have received payouts from my node (p2pool.vtcpool.co.uk) - I spoke to Erik and will update the scripts later tonight to lower the minimum payout threshold (even though this will result in a slightly higher proportion of payouts being used in fees - like 2% instead of 1%) and hopefully that will get some of the smaller hashers their payouts quicker. I can assure you all the scripts are definitely running, and I have made numerous payouts of both VTC and MON, so it is working, but due to the delay in coin maturity plus the minimum payout theshold, some of the smaller hashrate miners might have to wait quite some time for their first payout.
Hi, Boris What a hashspeed at your node (p2pool.vtcpool.co.uk)?

OP amended with all the new nodes that PM'd me - there's now a better selection of nodes on networks 2 and 3 which should be better for the smaller hashrate miners.
Can any pool operators who are in the wrong section (it's possible some of you got added to the p2pool network 1 if you didn't tell me which network you're on) let me know so I can move your entries under the appropriate heading.

Hi, Boris What a hashspeed at your node (p2pool.vtcpool.co.uk)?
For merged mining about 50 MH/s and for other non-merged miners another 5MH/s or so on top of that.

Got 60MON but then at 4AM I stopped receiving MON. Any idea how to check if I am throwing hashes in MON? monocled getmininginfo maybe? Thanks. Just took 5 hours to find another block with 16MON. All is normal, thank you vertcoin team for all hard work.

Payout threshold lowered at p2pool.vtcpool.co.uk:9555 to 0.5 MON and a bunch of payouts just went out - should help the smaller hashrate miners get quicker payouts (but if you have a particularly low hashrate it's also worth checking out the network 2 and network 3 nodes now in the OP)

i put a few hours (3-4) in at vtcpool.co.uk and yet to see anything from that initial genesis block mining.

NMC has value, IOC and IXC less so. Some of the others, very little. However most of the BTC merge coins have the same circulation as BTC, wheras MON has only 1/10th of VTC circulation, the inflation function of MON is also very different from VTC, so there are some differences that mean the XXX/BTC relationship may not directly relate.

So this means I am mining Monocle for sure? This feels like progress.

ymer sorry you didn't get your payouts earlier. I spoke more to Erik, it seems the share priority is an issue (some users are getting unlucky and are always at the back of the queue by chance when the CPPSRB looks back through the payable shares), basically another form of variance. - we just pushed another update to the github for the proxypool software (so other node operators may wish to update) which keeps track of which users have waited longest and queues them at the front next time round, which should markedly improve things. I just forced a payout to you. mysql> select user, round(sum(monvalue),8) as monbalance, round(sum(vtcvalue),8) as vtcbalance from stats_shares where user = 'VayQ1YUUjJ2fwMio3VpSSMLL9nTqCoeYNC'; +------------------------------------+------------+------------+ | user | monbalance | vtcbalance | +------------------------------------+------------+------------+ | VayQ1YUUjJ2fwMio3VpSSMLL9nTqCoeYNC | 1.64460329 | 1.19135553 | +------------------------------------+------------+------------+ 1 row in set (0.13 sec) So you've been paid out your full balances of both VTC and MON now.

Hi,
I have three mining rigs that run at 170khs, 550 & 900 Is it best for each to mine with a different VTC address as the user name or put them all under the same user name VTC address? I'm running them all on the p2pool.vtcpool.co.uk
Thanks

Cube Pool (vtc.cubeconnex.com:9555) Updates
This is an update to all miners.
The system is updated with the latest software upgrade including the payment scheduling enhancement. There are a few users who are not getting their MONs because they 'were unlucky' and always at the back of the queue when the payout run start. They would be missed out when the payout stops.
This system update will correct this problem - users have waited longest will be queued at the front of a next payout run.
The pool has also lower the threshold for MON tx from 1.0 to 0.5. Again, this means that you can get your MONs faster and more frequently.
Stay tuned.
Cheers!
